Jake tells Amanda that the details about giving her baby up for adoption have been worked out and she'll never have to see the child as she requested. Amanda admits to Jake that she's fallen in love with her unborn baby boy and can't give him up. Zach is affected when he remembers the deep love he and Kendall shared. Ryan and Kendall go public with their relationship, refusing to hide their love for one another any longer. Liza visits Zach again. Stuart remembers seeing Adam with a satin ribbon when Tad and Jesse question him about Dixie's murder. JR asks Adam point blank if he killed Dixie. Scott moves forward with his plans to test the heart valve as soon as possible and gets Jake onboard as well. JR clashes with Scott when he tries to put a stop to his plans. Randi gets an upsetting phone call while waiting to connect with Frankie on the webcam.

Reese reconnects with Gabrielle and Miranda, who tells her that Bianca has been sad a lot. Bianca makes Reese's hopes become a reality when she says she's ready to give their relationship another chance but cautions they'll need to take things slowly. Bianca and Reese happily head back to Paris together with their girls. Ryan's arrival puts a quick end to Kendall and Zach's moment of closeness in the park. Zach becomes infuriated when Ryan tells him about his visit to Alexander and his claim that he didn't kill Dixie. Kendall refuses to let Ryan push her away and later declares that he is the man she wants to be with. Tad is on a mission to find out who really killed Dixie, and enlists Jesse's help. Krystal says the only person that wanted Babe dead (and Dixie became the victim) was Adam, but doubts he killed her. Marissa goes to Wildwind looking for Krystal but ends up spending time alone with David. After learning she has nowhere to live, David invites Marissa to stay at Wildwind but warns her not to take advantage of Krystal's good nature. Krystal covers her discomfort upon learning Marissa is going to be moving in with her and David. Adam announces to JR and Scott that he's going to retire at the end of the year and pits them against each other when he challenges them to prove which one he should hand over the reins of the company to. Erica tells Adam to keep his health problems quiet and confide in her.

Reese pours her heart out to Bianca, hoping that she'll be able to find it in her heart to give her another chance but that doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon. After hearing what Erica has to say however, Bianca invites Reese over to see Gabrielle and Miranda. Bianca's heart melts as she watches Reese reunite with Gabrielle. Zach and Kendall remain at an impasse when he wonders why she helped push Bianca towards Reese. Tad discourages Ryan from going to see Alexander at the psychiatric facility but he goes anyway. Alexander warns Ryan that a killer is still on the loose in Pine Valley. Tad reluctantly tells JR about Alexander's claim that he didn't kill Dixie. Erica urges Adam to come clean with his kids but later has a change of heart and advises him to keep quiet about his illness.

Zach notices Kendall spying on him and Bianca at the airport. Unaware that Bianca is in town, Erica urges Reese to go to Paris to try to reconcile with her. Kendall, realizing that neither Erica nor Reese knows of Bianca's return, jumps on the bandwagon to convince Reese to fly off to Paris immediately. After later having an emotional talk with Bianca and reaching a new understanding with her sister, Kendall and Zach work together to arrange a meeting between Bianca and Reese. Opal is spooked by her vision of Annie and later experiences a disturbing image of a bloodied Tad. Ryan's caught off guard when he receives a package from Alexander Cambias Sr. containing a manuscript outlining the details of the Satin Slayer murders. Alexander takes credit for all the murders except Dixie's, claiming someone else killed her. Ryan alerts Tad to Alexander's claim about Dixie's murder. Colby is left shaken and confused by Adam's behavior and calls Erica. Adam admits to Erica that something is wrong with him. Amanda panics after watching a video about childbirth and becomes more upset when Jake admits he knows she's going to have a baby boy. Jake watches as Amanda breaks down after seeing an image of her baby while having a sonogram.

Ryan tells an understanding Erica he's fed up with Kendall's lingering feelings for Zach and he quits Fusion. Kendall reacts badly when she learns Ryan is leaving Fusion and begs him to stay but he refuses to stick around while she's still hung up on Zach. Erica points out that Kendall once again sabotaged her own happiness. Kendall is curious when she listens to Zach making travel plans for someone and later follows him to the airport. He finds Zach meeting with Bianca! Earlier, Reese told Zach how much she missed Bianca and he was encouraging of a reunion. Reese similarly tells Erica that she really wants to get back with Bianca, and Erica doesn't dissuade her of this. A vision of a bloodied Annie puts a fright in Opal. Krystal reluctantly introduces David to Marissa. David thinks Krystal reached out to Marissa because she needs someone to mother. Krystal has a disturbing dream about giving birth to twins. Frankie is relieved to realize that the man with Randi is his old friend Scott. JR and Scott are mesmerized when they meet Marissa. JR and Scott continue to clash with each other.

Krystal's an emotional mess when Tad tells her David claims he wants to work things out. Tad is incredulous when Krystal heads back to Wildwind hoping David will take her back. Krystal starts to tell David her secret but he silences her with a kiss, saying the past is behind them and it's time to focus on their future. Marissa throws Krystal for a loop when she arrives at Wildwind unexpectedly. Scott is furious with JR after learning he strong armed Dr. Chappell into accepting a buyout. Adam observes the tension between Scott and JR. Randi and Frankie celebrate their one month anniversary via a webcam. Scott joins Randi when the connection is lost and Frankie sees them together when the picture returns, in a seemingly close moment. Ryan's blood boils when Jesse informs him Annie was seen boarding a flight headed to the Maldives but can't be forced to return to the U.S because there is no extradition treaty with that particular country. Aidan refuses to rat out Annie. The connection between Jake and Amanda grows stronger.

Aidan orders Annie to make a run for it as he and Ryan struggle. Jesse questions Aidan, who gives him false information about Annie's intended destination. Jesse arrests Aidan when his information doesn't pan out. Meanwhile, Annie is at the airport waiting for her flight. Erica calls Angie to come take a look at Adam, who refuses to go to the hospital. David arrives and manages to switch back Adam's medication, substituting the real pills for the ones he had previously planted. Kendall confronts Reese, accusing her of having slept with Zach. Reese is in no mood to deal with Kendall and puts her in her place. Zach later shows up at Reese's room with a photo of Gabrielle that Bianca had sent him. After her run in with Reese, Kendall heads to Ryan's desperate to feel loved by someone. Ryan holds Kendall back, wondering why she's so upset that Zach slept with someone since they're getting divorced anyway. Upset with Ryan's attitude, Kendall storms out. Krystal and Marissa get reacquainted while sitting in jail. Krystal tells Marissa she's going to cover her tuition for law school.

Annie intercepts Emma on her way to school so that they can spend time together before Annie goes on the run with Aidan. Jesse alerts Ryan to the fact that Annie escaped from Oak Haven. Ryan goes off on Aidan when he arrives under the pretense of wanting to help find Annie. Ryan is greatly relieved when Emma returns to the penthouse, giving Aidan the chance to slip out unnoticed. A gun toting Ryan bursts in on Aidan and Annie just as they're getting ready to take off for parts unknown. After sneaking in through the tunnels, David witnesses a cryptic meeting between Adam and Krystal. Adam gives Krystal a slip of paper and she later arrives at a sketchy massage parlor where she reunites with a girl named Marissa, who is clearly an acquaintance of hers. Marissa explains how her parents were killed in a car accident and Krystal tells her about Babe's death. Krystal doesn't want Marissa working in such an establishment and is horrified when the cops suddenly raid the place. Erica charms Dr. Chappell, the medical brains behind Scott's heart valve venture. JR storms off when Adam sides with Scott over him. Erica gives Adam his pills after noticing he suffered a seizure. A smiling David is later seen holding Adam's pill bottle. Brot is initially angry when he realizes Taylor followed him to Florida to watch him give his speech but soon forgives her.

Although he finds her intriguing, Zach evades his mysterious redhead's personal questions after they have sex at the casino. Zach goes to the hospital and sees Kendall and Ryan with Ian looking very much like a family. Kendall notices lipstick on Zach's neck and he bluntly states that he had a sex with a woman he just met and doesn't even know her name. Kendall is hurt by Zach's coldness towards her. We learn Zach's mystery woman is Liza Colby. Liza, who's gotten her law degree, reunites with Jake at the casino and is going to handle placing Amanda's baby with an adoptive family. Liza tells Jake that Colby wants nothing to do with her (Liza tried to meet with Colby). Meanwhile, Colby opens up to Amanda about her feelings for Liza and they find common ground in having difficult, although vastly different, mothers. A hidden Liza witnesses a warm moment between Colby and Adam. Amanda later lets Jake know that she never wants to learn the identity of the people who adopt her baby. Aidan informs Annie that they're going to go on the run. Annie is hesitant to leave Emma but knows it wouldn't be fair to take her with them. Annie wants to see Emma one last time before going into hiding with Aidan.

Scott clobbers David when he comes upon him threatening to kill Adam. Adam offers to bankroll Scott's latest project after learning David would be Scott's main competitor. Kendall is gut-punched when Zach tells her she no longer means anything to him while they wait for Ian's test results. Not up for another confrontation, Zach leaves for the casino. Ryan arrives to support Kendall. Zach is intrigued by a beautiful woman he plays cards with at the casino and they are soon having no-strings sex. Jake comforts Amanda after she has a nightmare involving David taking her baby and they kiss. Jake pulls a gun on David when he threatens to take Amanda's baby away. Tad suspects Jake is falling in love with Amanda. Jesse and Angie take the time to enjoy their happiness and have sex. Adam gives Krystal an address which turns out to be that of a gravestone. David is up to his old tricks, looking at a mysterious stash of pills.

Knowing Adam would surely expose the secret she's so desperate to keep, Krystal turns on David on the witness stand and testifies against him. JR gets custody of Little Adam. David asks a devastated Krystal what Adam is holding over her but she remains silent. Erica is concerned for Adam, who wants to leave the hospital now that everything's gone the way he wanted it to. A menacing David approaches Adam with a hypodermic needle. Aidan covers for Annie in front of Ryan and takes responsibility for the missing photo of Emma. Aidan promises not to abandon Annie when they learn Ryan pulled strings to have her transferred to a different facility to keep them apart. Aidan goes undercover to help her. After Kendall tells Erica that she signed the divorce papers, Erica tells Kendall she's giving up on her - Kendall can ruin her own life. Kendall doesn't get the reaction she expected when she tells Ryan she signed the divorce papers - he's angry because she still won't leave Zach! Ryan won't let Kendall walk away from him.

Erica thinks Adam is blackmailing Krystal. Krystal struggles with whether to testify for JR at the custody hearing or allow Adam to reveal her secret. JR doesn't let Amanda testify at the hearing because David would use it as an excuse to come after her baby. Adam appears disoriented when he takes the stand at Little A's custody hearing and faints. Erica accompanies Adam to the hospital and is clearly worried for him even as he claims to have everything under control. Colby uses her cell phone to call Adam when a nervous Krystal is called to the stand. Krystal's testimony causes a commotion in the courtroom ... it seems she's going to testify against David. Amanda's truth telling causes the lawyer who was going to handle the adoption to pass on taking her case. Jake bolsters Amanda, promising that everything will work out because he's been working on a new plan. A vulnerable Amanda admits to Jake that she trusts him, which isn't something that comes easily for her. Jake makes a mysterious phone call while Amanda sleeps, asking someone for help. Randi becomes emotional when Taylor and Brot surprise her with a "visit" from Frankie in Iraq via their laptop. Brot doesn't want Taylor to accompany him when he leaves town to make his first speech for Wounded Soldiers.

Kendall accuses Erica and Ryan of being together. Both deny. Kendall bristles when Erica accuses her of wanting both Ryan and Zach. After Erica takes her leave, Ryan pushes Kendall's buttons by agreeing with Erica and wonders if Kendall is trying to hold onto her marriage. Zach is amused when Kendall relates how she found Erica and Ryan together in a very compromising position but Kendall sees nothing funny about it. Kendall gives Zach the signed divorce papers. Aidan knows Annie stole his cell phone but doesn't bust her. Using Aidan's phone, Annie sneaks out of Oak Haven and secretly visits Emma at Ryan's while he's out. Annie narrowly avoids being caught by Ryan when he returns but runs smack into Aidan while she makes her escape. Ryan finds Aidan's cell phone in the loft. Adam puts the screws to Krystal when he tells her he knows where her skeletons are buried and threatens to expose her secret if she doesn't do his bidding at the custody hearing. Erica sees that Krystal is shaken and later admits the same to David when he strong arms her.

Krystal alerts David to the fact that Little A is going to called to the stand at tomorrow's custody hearing. David wants to try to get to the boy. Scott proudly tells David he's working on the development of a mechanical heart valve he's hoping to manufacture. Scott, however, becomes instantly suspicious when David takes great interest in the project and learns he's been working on inventing a valve of his own. JR offers Scott an olive branch after seeing David angrily storm away from him. Ryan and Erica get stranded in the middle of nowhere when their car breaks down in their way to Philadelphia but find refuge in an abandoned cabin. Erica's relentless in her quest to get Ryan to stop pursuing Kendall and let her be happy with Zach. Meanwhile, Zach tells Kendall that the kiss they shared meant nothing and that he doesn't need her. Kendall goes off to search for Erica after getting word she went missing and finds her and Ryan is a very compromising situation. Frankie's family and friends throw him an emotional goodbye party before he ships out. Krystal makes a mysterious call.

Kendall and Zach bring Ian home from the hospital. Zach comforts Kendall, which leads to a kiss. Ryan doesn't believe that Annie is getting better and refuses to allow her to see Emma. Annie steals Aidan's cell phone and calls Emma and plans a secret visit with her very soon. At Aidan's insistence, Annie gives a statement to the police about Tori's death. Erica and Ryan's car breaks down on their way to Philadelphia on Fusion business. Erica admits to Ryan she's trying to keep him away from Kendall and Zach and urges him to get on with his life and find another woman, insinuating that woman could even be her. Scott doesn't share the rest of the Chandler's animosity towards David. Scott and JR get off to a rough start when JR refuses to apologize for cutting the funding for Scott's company. JR tells Scott that Adam won't bankroll his new project. David clearly has an ulterior motive when he later approaches Scott about funding the project. Stuart welcomes Scott home. Randi plans a romantic surprise for Frankie on the night before he's supposed to ship out. Frankie privately worries about leaving Randi behind and going to Iraq.

The thaw between Kendall and Zach continues. Zach sees that Kendall hasn't signed the divorce papers when he returns home. Zach takes Spike to the hospital to see Ian and the family is reunited for the moment at least. Annie fears that Emma's suffering from all the upheaval Annie's ended up putting her through. Ryan refuses to allow Emma to visit Annie but does go to Oak Haven himself. Emma is sent home from a field trip after hitting a girl who called Annie names. Erica tries to get Ryan out of town, but to no avail. JR makes major cuts at Chandler Enterprises. Adam refuses to allow JR to pull the plug on Stuart's son Scott's production company even though it's losing money. Erica urges Adam to be honest with JR and Colby about his medical condition. Adam displays more signs of forgetfullness.

Desperate to have a baby with David, Krystal is devastated when Angie tells her it will be impossible for her to ever have any more children. While spending time Jenny, Krystal can't deny Amanda's assumption that David is going to want to be a part of her baby's life now that he's lost yet another child. Amanda agrees to leave town with Jake. Tad and Jake meet with the man that's going to arrange for fake passports and ID's for Jake and Amanda when they go into hiding. Tad tries to talk Jake out of running but he doesn't think there's any other way to keep David from getting his hands on Amanda's baby. When Jake returns home, Amanda tells Jake that she can't go through with running away, claiming she won't let him sacrifice his life for her. Krystal looks at a mysterious picture of an infant. Brot tells Taylor he's going to work for a group called Wounded Soldiers giving motivational speeches to injured vets and isn't angry when she admits she pointed them in his direction. Taylor has a friendly chance encounter with Tad. Annie remembers seeing Richie with a baseball bat in the cellar with her and Tori. Aidan realizes that Richie killed Tori in a fit of rage and made Annie think that she was the murderer. Aidan confidently tells Annie be believes she'll be able to fully heal now that she finally remembers the truth and is free from the emotional prison she'd been living in.

Aidan convinces Annie to try to remember what happened in the cellar on that fateful night from her childhood. With Aidan's help, Annie fights her fears and goes back to that night in her mind. Annie remembers seeing Tori alive on the stairs and then realizes that there was someone else in the cellar with them that night. Zach tells Kendall they need to put aside their differences and focus solely on Ian's recovery. Kendall and Zach soften towards each other more than they have in a long time. Still, Zach can't full tell Opal that he wants to reunite with Kendall, although he promises a sleeping Ian that their family will be together soon. Ryan wonders if Kendall is on the road to getting back together with Zach. Kendall explains that all her energy is centered on her boys right now but assures Ryan that she truly loves him. Jake easily lifts an emotional Amanda's spirits as the bond between them grows stronger. Jake surprises Amanda when he suggests they leave Pine Valley and raise her baby together. David rushes Krystal to the hospital when she collapses from the pain in her side. Angie discovers that Krystal suffered an ectopic pregnancy and lost the child.

Adam admits to Erica that there is something wrong with him but the doctors don't know what it is. Tad and JR figure out that Adam is probably hiding at Erica's suite at the casino and head there. Adam dismisses JR's questions about his strange behavior at the hospital, claiming he was keeping up the ruse of pretending to be Stuart. Kendall goes off on Reese when she stops by to check on Ian's condition. David gives Zach and Kendall the good news that Ian survived the surgery but warns he still faces a tough road ahead. Kendall and connect as they watch over their son. There is clearly no love lost between Ryan and Reese, as they clash when she tells him to back off Kendall. Annie becomes agitated when Aidan forces her to accept the fact that Tori only exists in her mind. Aidan remains protective of Annie when he claims to her doctor that he doesn't know anything about anyone named Tori. Annie fears she killed Tori when they were little girls after Aidan tells her about the newspaper article he uncovered. Krystal is plagued by a pain in her side.

Ryan makes it perfectly clear to Erica that he's going to fight for Kendall. Zach and Kendall give David the go ahead to perform heart surgery on Ian and lean on each other for support. Remembering Leora's death, David has reservations about operating on Ian but Krystal tells him she knows he can do it. Tad and JR head off to Philadelphia to try and track down a missing Adam and learn he's been behaving strangely. The police find Adam's stolen car smashed and abandoned. JR and Tad see that Adam, at the hospital, slketched many pictures of Erica and kept calling her Lottie. Erica is shocked to find Adam waiting for her in her suite. He plants a kiss on her. Aidan digs into Annie's past and makes a disturbing discovery: Tori, the girl Annie claiims is her friend at Oak Haven, is actually the name of the little girl that died when Annie was a child. Annie is certain she killed someone when she was a little girl and is clearly losing touch with reality. She introduces Aidan to Tori, but Aidan sees there is no one there.

Kendall tries to explain to Ryan why she can't disrupt her son's lives and move in with him. Kendall denies Ryan's accusation that she wants to get back with Zach. Meanwhile, Zach jumps into action when Ian stops breathing. Erica appeals to David to save Ian's life. David tells Kendall and Zach just how serious Ian's condition is. Ryan witnesses the connection between Zach and Kendall as they sit vigil over Ian. Krystal balks when David insists they go into hiding with Little A. Krystal manages to convince David to let her take JR gets news that Adam has gone missing from the hospital in Philadelphia. Colby and Pete bond as they discuss the David/Krystal situation.

Kendall questions Ryan's feelings as she asks him to define their relationship. Ryan eases Kendall's doubts and they end up on the verge of lovemaking until Zach suddenly arrives. Zach announces he's moving back into the house and refuses to allow Kendall to take Ian or Spike if she decides to move in with Ryan. Not wanting to uproot her sons, Kendall later tells Ryan she can't move in with him. Zach panics when he discovers Ian isn't breathing. Erica tries to convince Ryan to distance himself from Kendall. Jake comes to Amanda's rescue and claims he's the father of her baby when the adoption lawyer insists the father needs to be involved with the proceedings. A grateful Amanda wishes that Jake really were the father of her baby. David figures out that Little A is at Angie and Jesse's and snatches the boy out from under Natalia's nose. David shocks Krystal when he returns to Wildwind with Little A in tow. Krystal tells David they need to return Little Adam.
