Zach defends Reese to her mother and sends Claire packing. Reese confesses to Zach that she's grown attached to him but he dismisses it as just friendship. Bianca and Greenlee's prayers are answered when Kendall wakes up and quickly spread the good news. Kendall is reunited with her family. Kendall learns she got Josh's heart. Bianca tells Kendall the truth about Gabrielle being fathered by Zach. Greenlee can't shake the feeling that something is off with Kendall. Sinclair injects Aidan with truth serum. Aidan claims to Sinclair that he wants Annie to stay locked up. Tad won't let Krystal off the hook for destroying their family. Kathy becomes upset when she overhears Tad and Krystal arguing. She runs away.

Bianca, Reese and Greenlee's bridal shower takes a turn for the worse when Erica reveals she invited Reese's mother as well as Greenlee's to the party. Reese has it out with her mother, who ends up slapping her just as Zach walks in. Greenlee and Bianca both end up at Kendall's bedside wishing for her to wake up and be with them again. They are shocked when she opens her eyes! Tad's temper flares when he tries to convince Krystal that David drugged her to get what he wanted. Krystal tears into David after she learns he has been giving her experiment drugs, but can't resist the pull she feels towards him. Dr. Sinclair tells Tad he knows who he really is. Tad and Ryan's concerns about Sinclair mount when they realize she did some checking into Tad's background. Sinclair pulls out all the stops to try and get Annie to confess to killing Richie. Annie comes close but is stopped by a fire alarm.

David tells JR he knows Amanda is pregnant. David begins to wonder if he could be the father of Amanda's baby. Amanda panics when David threatens to take her baby away if a DNA test proves he's the father. Ryan and Greenlee weigh the pros and cons of adopting Amanda's baby but come to the conclusion that now wouldn't be the right time to do so. Sinclair confronts Ryan and Greenlee after seeing through Tad's ruse. Annie is greatly relieved when Aidan is brought back to his room. Aidan tells Annie that Sinclair is onto him, but he is determined to protect her. Sinclair learns Aidan revealed nothing during questioning but her suspicious about him and Annie grow. Greenlee has a nightmare about Annie stabbing Ryan. Angie refuses to plead guilty and remains angry at Jesse for arresting her in the first place. Jesse and Angie later mend fences but both are fed up with David's attempts to ruin other people's lives. David convinces Krystal that his love for her is genuine. Krystal breaks down after Tad signs the divorce papers.

Tad agrees with Ryan and Greenlee that Dr. Sinclair is out for Annie's blood and promises to help them get information on her. After he and Ryan dig into Sinclair's past, Tad arranges to meet with her pretending to be a reporter from a medical journal and is surprised by her candor, especially when she says that the patient-therapist bond can be as powerful as love. Earlier, Sinclair tries to get Annie to admit she's lucid and remembers her crimes, but Annie remembers Aidan's advice and doesn't play along. Annie calls through the vent for Aidan, but he doesn't respond. Amanda has a surprising proposition for Ryan and Greenlee: She wants them to adopt her baby. David confronts JR after figuring out that Amanda is pregnant. JR pours his heart out at Babe's grave. Erica bristles at the idea of Bianca and Reese sharing their wedding shower with Greenlee. Erica predicts nothing but bad luck after Reese and Bianca see each other in their wedding dresses, which are nothing like they had envisioned. Zach accidentally walks in on a naked Reese.

Brot impresses Greenlee, Taylor and Frankie with his ability to soothe Emma after she sustains a minor burn. Jake encounters Taylor at ConFusion as she's waiting for Brot to join her to celebrate his getting a job as an orderly at the hospital. Jake admits to Taylor he regrets not knowing what might have been between them. Ryan is disturbed by Dr. Sinclair's apparent vendetta against Annie after she makes it clear she wants to prove Annie is faking her psychosis and then send her to prison for killing Richie. Ryan later shares his concerns about Dr. Sinclair with Greenlee. Aidan continues to coach Annie but soon finds himself in a precarious situation when Dr. Sinclair takes over his treatment. She prepares to drug him. Jake warns Amanda to play it cool so as not to alert David to the fact he could be her baby's father. A furious Krystal walks out on David after he gives her the divorce papers he had drawn up for her to give to Tad. Krystal bumps into Tad, who asks if she wants him to sign the papers and is disgusted when she says she doesn't know what she wants. Colby is blown away when JR tells her Amanda's having his baby. JR reaches out to Amanda, telling her she doesn't have to go through this alone. David isn't pleased to see JR comforting Amanda. He starts to grow suspicious.

Aidan tries to keep Annie calm while talking to her through the air vent, reminding her to never let the doctors know if she starts to remember her past crimes. Ryan grows suspicions of Dr. Sinclair's motives. Annie remembers killing Richie. Zach offers Brot a job on the security staff of the casino but Brot knows Taylor put him up to it. Taylor challenges Brot to get on with his life. Greenlee takes Emma to the hospital after the little girl accidentally burns herself. Taylor looks on in amazement when Brot is able to ease Emma's fears. Bianca is concerned for Erica, who's been throwing herself into her work to avoid facing what she really feels. Reese confronts Zach about avoiding spending time with Kendall since the transplant. Zach confides his fears to Reese, who has him listen to Kendall's heartbeat to erase any doubts he has about her. Amanda tells JR she didn't have an abortion.

Amanda manages to rescue JR from the water and then calls Jake to the yacht to make sure he's okay. After leaving JR in Jake's care, Amanda heads to the hospital planning on terminating her pregnancy. JR puts the pieces together after discovering Amanda's home pregnancy test and races to the hospital. Opal urges Tad and Krystal to find a way to peacefully co-exist. Tad is incredulous when Krystal chooses going to David's side over spending time with Jenny (she learns David is at the police station). He lays into Krystal for falling under David's spell. Angie is furious with Jesse for arresting her. David deftly replaces the illegal pills he gave Krystal with real prescription medication, meaning Angie's claims are moot. David suspends Angie from the hospital. Jesse warns David not to mess with him. Brot is uncomfortable being out in public when Taylor takes him to dinner at ConFusion. Colby stands up for Brot when Ren and Corrina openly gawk at him. Taylor tells off a snotty restaurant hostess who makes Brot uncomfortable.

David informs Zach, Erica, Bianca, Reese, Greenlee and Ryan that Kendall's operation was a success but cautions she isn't out of the woods yet. While talking to Greenlee, Ryan wonders if Zach shot Josh intentionally to get his heart for Kendall. Jack takes an exhausted Erica back to her suite and after a brief spat, Jack pulls Erica into his arms and gives her the comfort she needs. Reese takes Zach home and is privately unsettled by the depth of her feelings for him. Bianca assures Ryan she no longer has any doubts about Reese and is certain she wants to marry her.
Angie confronts David with the illegal drugs she found at Wildwind. David turns the tables on Angie when he has Jesse arrest her for breaking and entering. Amanda tells Jake she's planning on an abortion. A drunken JR takes off after scaring Little A. Amanda encounters JR on the docks and looks on in shock as he falls into the water. With no one around to help, Amanda jumps in the water to try and save JR.

Josh is shot in the head after exchanging gunfire with Zach. Erica cradles Josh as he drifts into unconscious. Zach stuns Erica when he says he needs Josh's heart in order to save Kendall, admitting how dire Kendall's condition really is. Meanwhile, Kendall goes into cardiac arrest but David manages to stabilize her. After Josh is pronounced brain dead at the hospital, Erica makes the painful decision to allow David to go ahead with the transplant and give Kendall his heart. Amanda stares at the home pregnancy test results in disbelief when it shows that she's pregnant. At the hospital, Jake confronts Amanda with the check David wrote out to her. Jake presses Amanda until she admits that David paid her to get JR to fall off the wagon. Amanda gets a doctor to give her a pregnancy test, and he confirms her home one. Amanda tells Jake she doesn't know who the father of her baby is. Angie and Jake get proof that David's been giving Krystal illegal drugs. Jesse doesn't want to know what Angie's been up to when she brings up David's drugs. Adam warns JR that David is going to be coming after Little A. Colby and Adam plead with JR to stop drinking.

Erica suspects the worst when Reese describes the ring she saw on the masked gunman and insists on returning to her suite. Knowing something's up, Bianca and Reese refuse to let Erica out of their sight. Erica confesses she thinks the gun man was Josh. Soon, all three women are soon facing an armed and dangerous Josh. Josh takes Reese hostage but she doesn't go willingly. Zach and Josh take aim at each other as a gunshot rings out. Krystal breaks down on the witness stand. After being granted full custody of Jenny, Tad softens and tells Krystal she can see Jenny anytime she wants, but without David or the pills. Amanda prays she isn't pregnant after buying a home pregnancy test. Angie and Jake break into Wildwind looking for evidence that David is giving Krystal non-FDA approved drugs. Jake finds a check that David had written to Amanda.

David gives Zach the bad news that Kendall's heart is weakening at an accelerated pace and she only has days to live. Zach is desperate to get Kendall moved to the top of the transplant list for a new heart. Ryan, Greenlee, Bianca and Reese find the perfect spot for their double wedding. A masked Josh stages an armed robbery at the casino. Zach stares down the barrel of Josh's gun. Aidan coaches Annie on what to say to Dr. Sinclair: Specifically, do not let on that she wants any sort of revenge on Greenlee. Dr. Sinclair takes Greenlee to see Annie, who does as Aidan told her and claims to have forgiven Greenlee. Greenlee tells Dr. Sinclair she doesn't believe Annie is telling the truth about forgiveness. Greenlee thinks Annie wants to kill her still. Krystal takes a handful of pills before Jenny's custody hearing. Tad, Adam and Opal all give damaging testimony against Krystal. Krystal becomes emotional while on the stand and accidentally sends her pills flying across the floor. Amanda gets very sick, and thinks she's having a bad reaction to a flu shot. But is it something else?

Bianca worries when Erica invites Reese to brunch under the pretense of wanting to make peace. Reese handles herself perfectly and she, Erica and Bianca seem to all be in a good place. Bianca admits to Zach that she had felt insecure but he convinces her that she has nothing to worry about where Reese is concerned. Zach accuses Erica of being up to something. After vowing to get revenge against Zach, Josh snoops around the casino and secretly snaps of photo of Reese's blueprints. Josh hides when Bianca arrives. Ryan surprises Greenlee with a new motorcycle. Greenlee loves the gift at first but later has a nightmare. Dr. Sinclair grows more suspicious of Aidan and locks him in a cell next to Annie's. Aidan explains to the administrator that he feels as though he owes it to Annie to try and help her. Aidan talks to Annie through the air vent connecting their cells. Dr. Sinclair tells Ryan and Greenlee that she wants to get Annie well enough to stand trial for Richie's murder as well as her other crimes. Jesse gets Randi out of her mess with the undercover cop who arrested her for solicitation. Natalia, and later Jesse, urge Frankie not to let Randi's past ruin what they have together. Jesse gives Natalia his support when she tells him she wants to become a cop.

Annie has a nightmare in which she believes she's Emma discovering Ryan after he's been stabbed to death. Dr. Sinclair watches the footage she secretly recorded of Aidan sneaking in and out of Annie's room. Annie has a brief moment of lucidity in front of Dr. Sinclair and is shocked to find herself at Oak Haven but quickly slips back into dementia. Aidan slips out of Oak Haven in order to sign his and Greenlee's divorce papers and can't resist getting a few digs in at Ryan. Aidan walks into Dr. Sinclair's trap when he returns to the institution. Annie has another nightmare but this time she sees Greenlee stabbing Ryan to death. Annie awakes thinking she needs to kill Greenlee. David hides his displeasure when Krystal says she wants Jenny to live with them at Wildwind. Tad files a restraining order against Krystal barring her any contact with Jenny. Krystal loses it when Tad refuses to let her take or even hold their daughter. David pays an attorney to make Krystal believe that Tad would most likely win full custody of Jenny. Randi's past catches up with her when Frankie finds some interns looking at her online porn. Randi takes off after Frankie shows her the website and later gets arrested after propositioning a cop.

Tad lays into Krystal after a drunken JR exposes her affair with David. Krystal tries to defend herself but Tad won't hear it. Tad takes Krystal to Wildwind where he points out that David is just using her, as well as Babe's death, as a means to an end. Tad washes his hands of Krystal and leaves her with David, saying she's all his now. David and Krystal are both thrown for a loop over the sudden turn of events. Bianca's plan to test backfires when she's in a minor car accident and Reese and Zach realize she was testing them. Bianca accuses Reese of being in love with Zach. Reese can't live with Bianca constantly doubting her love and sends Bianca a goodbye note along with her engagement ring while preparing to return to Paris. Bianca rushes home from the hospital to apologize and she and Reese end up in each other's arms. Pete pours his heart to Colby, who although affected, insists they can only be friends. Pete tells Colby he can't be her friend because it hurts him too much and asks her to leave. Amanda gives JR a dose of tough love. They end up in a kiss.

David dares JR to make good on his threat and shoot him as a horrified Krystal looks on. JR walks out in disgust when it becomes clear that Krystal and David have been having an affair. Meanwhile, Opal is watching Kathy and Jenny when Tad returns home sooner than expected. Opal makes a beeline to Wildwind where she finds Krystal in David's arms. Kathy tells Tad that David has been spending time with her and Krystal. Krystal returns home to face Tad just as JR arrives seemingly poised to spill the beans about David and Krystal's affair. Bianca has a change of heart after Ryan and Greenlee point out that she's only asking for trouble if she sets out to test Zach and Reese. Erica confronts Reese and Zach with her suspicions that they have feelings for each other. Bianca spies on Zach giving an upset Reese a comforting embrace.

JR grows increasingly drunk and more violent as he demands that David confess to what he's really up to (i.e. use Krystal to get custody of Little Adam). Meanwhile, Opal accuses Krystal of having an affair with David. Krystal opens up to Opal, who grows concerned when Krystal mentions the pills she's been taking. Opal says she's moving in to prevent Krystal for spending time with David. Krystal is alarmed by what she walks in on when JR summons her to Wildwind. When she gets there, she finds JR, drunk with a gun, and David tied up. She refuses to agree with JR's assertions that David is using her. Brot opens up to Taylor about his fear of loving and losing her. Taylor and Brot share a kiss but Brot tells her he needs to take things slow. Greenlee picks up on the dynamic between Zach and Reese. Bianca sets her plan in motion and decides to leave town for a brief trip, leaving Zach and Reese alone together.

Amanda pleads with JR to stop drinking but he's desperate to numb the pain he feels. JR lashes out at Colby when she attempts to get him to sober up. Amanda takes her leave when David arrives and later becomes alarmed when she returns to find a broken, bloody oar on the yacht. Meanwhile, JR has David restrained at Wildwind, demanding that he confess to seducing Krystal and wanting to take Little Adam away from him. Taylor admits to Jake that she's deliberately leading Brot to believe she's still in bad shape because she doesn't want him to leave. Taylor sets a romantic mood and Brot lets himself be drawn into the moment. Brot is shocked to see that Taylor can stand on her own as he realizes she's been faking her slow recovery. Bianca can't shake the feeling that something is going on between Zach and Reese. Reese tells an incredulous Greenlee about Bianca's fears while Bianca confides in Ryan. Bianca hints to Ryan that she wants to test Reese and Zach.

Krystal faints upon getting the news that Tad has been found and will soon be coming home. Opal confronts Krystal after picking up on the connection between her and David. Krystal leaves the casino, with David hot on her heels. Krystal admits to David that she doesn't love Tad the way she loves him. David is satisfied that he has Krystal right where he wants her. A drunken JR makes a fool of himself at the casino party. David feels he's one step closer to taking Little Adam away from JR after JR publicly attacks David. Amanda takes JR to the yacht and things quickly heat up. Adam swears to keep Amanda away from JR. Ryan convinces Greenlee to ignore Opal's prediction and marry him as planned. Bianca and Reese decide to have a double wedding with Greenlee and Ryan. Erica still thinks there's something going on between Reese and Zach. Pete hires a call girl to try and make Colby jealous but his plan fails miserably. Angie puts on a brave face while attending the party with Jesse and Rebecca. Angie learns that Rebecca's tumor may have stabilized, meaning she may not die. Carmen accuses Jack of still being in love with Erica.
