Mysterious things have been happening to JR. Things going missing and minor accidents start happening. At first the only person who believes JR is Adam. The duo are sure it's Babe doing the dastardly things to JR but when JR discovers it couldn't be Babe he focuses on Josh. Could that focus also be a red herring?
Kendall has trouble letting go of Ryan and Annie isn't going to sit back and let Kendall take over his life. How will this sit with Ryan?
Dixie decides she's done crying and actively sets out to find Kate. When she gets close to finding her long lost daughter will she tell Tad right away (he's said on more than on occasion he's going to get sole custody of "Kate") or does Dixie keep the news to herself?
When Aidan begins to have nightmares and won't open up to Di she feels left out of his life and goes on a bender one night ending up in the arms of an unlikely person. Will this be a one night stand or something more?
Aidan begins to have nightmares that start to bleed out into his waking life. At first he tries to keep it to himself but eventually he needs help. He reaches out to Amanda who is at the right place at the wrong time. How will their new friendship affect Amanda's feelings and relationship with Jonathan?
Jackson goes back to private practice and takes on a new high profile client. What Jack doesn't know is he's about to have a whole lot of trouble because of this new client.

Here's my go at what should be written

As Di and Aidan get closer could someone get in there way?
Amanda is tired of being the runner up and decides that it's time to take what she wants and not be a doormat any longer. How will Jonathan respond to the more agressive Amanda?
Lily leaves Pine Valley for MIT and special housing for genius children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Sean's secret life finally catches up with him when Colby discovers he's the main man behind the illegal gambling at PVHS and PVU.
Brooke having tired of lack of storyline jets off for her secret hideaway in Fiji to remember the days she actually was a valued member of Pine Valley Society and writes a tell all book.
Tad starts to spin out of control. While he believes that he's helping JR he actually is himself drowning. Will Dixie be his life vest? Tad tries to deal with his depression on his own but soon things turn darker for our hero.
JR discovers he's suffering from ED (Erectile Disfunction aka impotency) as a result of his fall. He guilts Babe into staying with him while she longs for intimacy.
Joe is missing and as the towns people and his family worry for his safety they are all shocked by he reason for his being gone.
Dixie realizes that she has been a vicitm for too long and decides to take charge of her life but how will the men who are used to saving her feel about this? Will she be the one who saves Tad from himself or will it be someone else?
Jackson/Erica/Jeff triangle takes an odd turn when Erica discovers Jackson has cheated on her not the other way around. Will Ms. Kane return the favor by seducing Dr. Jeff Martin?
Bianca finds love with an unlikely person.
Kendall and Zach are on their way to a beautiful happy ever after but when the real Zach Slater shows up in town (under another identity) look for the Slater's world to be rocked!
Jamie takes over as PVH's new hospital Administrator and trying to juggle his work at the hospital with his new fiance Julia and the arrival of Julia's sister Rosa...will Jamie break?
Colby discovers that she has been exposed to HIV. Will she tell her family? When the truth comes out it rocks not only the Chandlers but the Montgomery's as well.
Ryan tangles with the real Zach Slater and realizes he knows this man from somewhere in his past.

Normally I would try to work with the characters and storyline in place but with the state of affairs on the show right now I digress.

Reggie Montgomery heads back to town and isn't thrilled with what he finds. Sean has taken his room and his old life. Reggie receives word that his one of his sister's is in trouble (but doesn't know what kind of trouble) and keeps this information from Jackson who is distracted by his problems with Lily and Erica. Reggie goes in search of his sister.
Sean is at the wrong place a the right time when he steps in and helps a young girl in "trouble". Sean keeps Lila's where abouts a secret while he tries to find away to help her. The two share a lot of time together and Sean falls in love with her because she's the only person in his life he can be the real Sean with. But how will Reggie feel about this little connection with his biological sister. Will it be just one more thing Sean has stolen from Reggie since coming to PV? Everyone will believe that the baby is Sean's and he will let them because he finally has the family he's always wanted.
Colby really does have feelings for Sean who has done nothing but ignore her. When she discovers Sean's secret will she keep quiet or will she blast him out of the water? Colby makes an impulsive decision that puts many lives in danger.
Bianca starts writing for Tempo Magazine and does a scathing expose on one of the towns largest companies...someone is not happy and Bianca realizes she's made some enemies. Who are the enemies?
Amanda gets drunk and goes on a bender with JR who's life is out of control. Can Babe save her husband? After all she started his decent by having slept with Josh. Josh in true Kane fashion isn't done with Babe even though she tells him she's done with him. His obsession leaves Babe taking some drastic steps to get him out of her life...for good! Amanda's drunken binge with JR is triggered by the announcement that Brooke is leaving town for awhile. Amanda is abandoned once more and she whallows in drink. There is someone who will save her but it could prove a dangerous proposition!
Kendall and Zach start their new life but when a man from Zach's past comes to Pine Valley under the guise of friendship things aren't what they appear to be.
After Krystal and Adam's marriage is tanked but the revealation that Tad is her baby's father a medical crisis happens that changes everything but will Adam destory Tad first.
Babe still loves JR and tries to fix the damage she's done to him while dealing with Amanda and Josh plotting to keep her from her husband.
Jamie goes back to Medical School in hopes of wooing Julia back but when he finds Julia in a compromising position can he forgiver her and more to the point does Julia care. Jamie thinks that if he just hangs in there Julia will realize she loves him.
A snowstorm hits Pine Valley and the roads are closed for the night. Some unexpected couples will be trapped together. Aidan, Erin and Di. Colby, Sean and Lila (Reggie's Sister). Bianca and Amanda. Tad and Julia. Dixie and Ryan. All of these couples have to face certain things about themselves and each other. Unlimited possiblities. The next Day while driving a snow plow Myrtle rescues the town folks. But some of them might not want to be rescued

Bianca arrives back in Pine Valley not because she misses everyone like she's pretending but that Maggie and she have broken up because Maggie met someone (a man) at the hospital she's been working at in Paris. The two women's relationship has been complicated from day one with Maggie's confusion over her "Heteroflexible" (Maggie's Words from 9/04) feelings for Bianca and men in general. The key to this story is that Maggie has always been written has heterosexual but constantly confused where her feelings for Bianca are concerned so to have Bianca deal with Maggie's heterosexual desires is the perfect catalyst for her coming to Pine Valley without tremendously injuring the relationship that BAM Fans have invested in for so long. It's a dual edged knife because Bianca has always loved Maggie and Maggie has always loved Bianca but Maggie has also always been attracted to both Binx and other men so Bianca being the "nice girl" is hurt by Maggie but she can't really be angry with her gal pal because it's not like Maggie is gay in the sense that Bianca is only attracted to women. (I hope this makes sense in reading it because it made sense in my head, lol).

Bianca immediately gets caught up in the drama of everyone elses life and is at a breaking point when she accidentally gets trapped in an elevator with JR. Old wounds are raw but Bianca sees some of the old JR that was once her friend. JR shows Binx his vulnerability that he keeps to himself and the two start to forge an unlikely friendship. JR also helps Bianca deal with the turmoil in her life. Erin finds herself awkwardly attracted to Bianca. Bianca is still in love with Maggie and not looking for a relationship. This complicates Erin's life.
Babe and Josh end up together but it's not what either of them expected. The romance is short lived by the fact that Erica and Kendall start circling the couple. Jeff gets caught in the middle not completely aware of Babe's past. As they two have family issues (Krystal's not too hot about the romance either) it puts a strain on Babe's relationship with Little A. Babe then starts to notice JR's recent friendship with Bianca and starts to think about him again. JR finds love in an unlikely place, Simone. The two become close because of a Chandler/Fusion joint project and Bianca encourages him to open his heart to someone new.
Kendall is completely unsettled with her brother's romance with Babe and her sister's friendship with the man who almost killed her. Adding on the fact she's in love with Zach and Ryan and Kendall's hands are full. Things get crazier for her when she learns that Erica slept with Jeff Martin and is keeping it from Jackson. Jack being preoccupied with the children doesn't notice Erica and Jeff's budding relationship. Erica feels guilty because Jackson is the only man in her life that has ever truly understood her and Jeff thinks he's the man for Erica because of their connected past. Joe accidentally figures things out on his own and is thrown into the triangle against his will. Someone gets hurt in this mess and it's not who you think.
Zach continues to spiral out of control. Dixie thinks she's the one to help him but she actually is the catalyst for his destructive behavior. Dixie having had enough of Tad sets things in motion that is designed to get Tad out of her life forever but ends up hurting Di instead. Tad rushes to Di's side realizing he still has feelings for her. Are they platonic or romantic feelings?
Is Tad or Adam the father of Krystal's baby? Only one person knows and Del is telling. Del becomes involved with the Adam/Krystal/Tad affair when he learns about the baby and possible paternity issues. To get back at Tad for hurting his sister Del arranges for the paternity test to show that Adam is Krystal's baby's father even though the truth is that Tad is the father. Then Del sets about tormenting his former brother-in-law. When Del discovers that Tad and Di are back together he makes it a mission to break them up.
Aidan learns the shocking truth that his biological father was Alexander Cambias. Alex used his mother Lindsay and discarded her like so many women. This puts him and Zach at odds and adds friction with Ryan. How will Zach react to having a brother and Ryan react to a blood heir to the Cambias empire? Will Zach's new brother be the person to save him from himself and bring Kendall back into his life.
Industrial espionage hits the folks at Chandler and Cortlandt business. Who is trying to take over the companies? Adam and Palmer are forced to work together and discover who's trying to take their companies. JR is involved in this storyline.
Colby discovers she's pregnant too and decides she's not keeping the baby. Jackson talks her into having the baby and he and Erica will raise the child. Erica's not keen on starting over with a baby and Sean isn't keen on having his kid either. Colby gives birth but what will happen with the child? Sydney plays into this storyline.
Brooke investigates a story for Tempo about gambling on college campus' and things get crazy. This will be the "social storyline" about the teen gambling problem.

I've posted these thoughts on my Rant board but here's the recap:

We learn that good girl with the good grades Sydney is in Pine Valley not because Adam needed a good friend for Colby but because her mother (Winnie's sister) is suffering from a drug addiction and is in rehab. Things become complicated for the lass when she recognizes a man from her mother's past....Del Henry. Her world starts to spin out of control when Colby discovers that Del is Sydney's biological father and blurts it out at thanksgiving dinner with the Chandlers, thus cementing the two girls feud.
Sean enrolls in PVU and starts a gambling racket using the other students to bankroll his secret underworld activities. The rich white kid from the good side of the tracks is actually a crime boss in training.
Jamie and Julia continue to grow closer despite interference from Tad. When Tad becomes unhinged by all of his recent hurtful actions Julia reaches out to him. It's while spending alot of time helping Tad that Tad begins to feel something for his son's fiancé.
Brooke takes on a story for Tempo about the college gambling problem and discovers Sean's backdoor dealings. Before she can share her notes with Jackson something happens to her.
Jamal quits ConFusion and interns for Brooke while taking a journalism class at PVU. Although wanting to be a lawyer like his mother Jamal double majors in Journalism & Law. Jamal and Brooke uncover a never talked about seedy side to University life and the sudden exposure could be deadly for the investigative duo.
Bianca finds comfort in an unlikely place and is plagued by the depression of Maggie's decision to separate having never fully been comfortable with their sexual relationship.
Josh and Babe continue their friendship and when JR goes off on Babe again the two team up to give JR the justice he's never received until now.
After discovering her daughter is closer than she could have imagined she and Annie talk about shared custody of Emma Kate. With Emma Kate situtation taken care of Dixie focuses on JR's problems. He's created one too many enemies and they are ready for JR's Fall.
Tad is in no place to care for his daughter and with Krystal possibly pregnant his child his life goes from bad to worse. Krystal and Adam are thrilled to be parents again and Adam vows that with Krystal's help, he'll do right by this child.
The attention on the new baby throws Colby into a tailspin to garner attention from anyone thus placing her very life in danger when she has unprotected sex with a one night stand who she discovers is HIV Positive. If jeopardizing her own life isn't enough Colby does the unthinkable and puts the new baby and Little A's life in the balance. When Adam discovers Colby has been exposed to HIV all of the fear that the Chandlers experienced with Cindy's death comes crashing back for not only Adam but Stuart as well.
Feeling like Jackson doesn't get her, Erica spends more time with Jeff in the hopes that his good relationship with Josh will extend to her but she just can't get over his connection to Babe and tries every trick in the book to get ride of the thorn in her side.
I have to give more thought to the Zach and Kendall story.
Ryan he finds romance with the most unlikely of people....his brother's news girlfriend Amanda. This pits Jonathan and Ryan against each other and brings out the less than nice side of Jonathan's personality. He doesn't become murderous but he plays every bad trick he can find to keep what he feels is his.
Aidan's life is in turmoil when he decides to search for his father never imagining it would lead him to Greg Madden. Aidan and Josh have friction over his discovery.

I really feel like TPTB missed the boat with my suggestion of making Aidan Devane the biological son of Greg Madden (like they really care about little old me). It would have given Aidan connection to the stupid story they are running now. For the last few years Aidan has just been a bed buddy to many of the townies but I feel not diving into this characters past is a waste of Aiden Turner's acting ability. This chap came from a model who couldn't act to a character I think we all love, at least I do. He's sweet but there is so much we do not know about Aidan Devane. We know his mum's name is Lindsay and she's the oldest sister of Anna, Alex and Gabriel. And he was in Afghanistan and worked for bad boy Julian. He had an affair with Julian's wife Fiona and that's it. There so much opportunity with this character that is going to waste. So here's what I would write for the show now:

Aidan is really the biological son of Greg Madden. Lindsay's desire to have a baby set her to seek out a young OB/GYN who had just started his swath of debauchery
Colby finds that sleeping around with people she doesn't know puts her life at risk when she discovers that it's possible she has been exposed to HIV. She turns to Sydney as the only person who can help her. Or does Sydney blackmail the young heiress?
While Krystal discovers she's pregnant Adam has his suspicions about her all nighter with Tad but is side tract when he discovers what's going on with Colby and fears for his teenage daughter's future. Having been through the death of sister-in-law Cindy, Adam is terrified but is aided by his best friend and former wife Brooke and his brother Stuart both of whom lived with him through Cindy's ordeal.
Babe and JR continue to have misunderstandings but have cemented their relationship and the push and pull of each day brings more crazy happenings but all the while the two are in love.
Kendall becomes to involved in her new brother's life as does Erica and Josh starts to drink and becomes a barfly at CONFusion. This causes problems with Del and Jamal when Josh becomes belligerent and harasses the women of the town. Jamal develops an attraction to Julia who is enjoying in her relationship with Jamie but becomes interested on what's happening on his side of the fence.
And for the Thanksgiving Episode the Montgomery's try again to celebrate the holiday but this time at their new house since last year they were ban from the Valley Inn. And Myrtle shows up with a date, a young stud (Casting a Day Player).

Since the Writers have dropped this one in my lap here's what I would with the Greg Murder Mystery. The killer is Rachel the Nanny. Okay I stole this idea from Godsford Park but it works in this venue as well. What if Rachel was one of "Greg's Children" and she discovered the truth after living a heinous existence with the Parents Greg had "Chosen" for her. This would totally work and the writers wouldn't need to write themselves into a corner like they normally do. She's just that character in the background that no one really notices. She could get away with accidental death. As for the Kate connection she could have discovered what was going on with the Martin's search for Kate and thought she could help since Kate would be one of the "Lost Children of Greg Madden". Just a thought, but I think it would work.

Even though I'm liking the storyline this week for the most part for the future I would build on some of this as well as add something's, like:

Now that Lily and Jonathan are on the outs because of his lie I'd like to see Lily explode. To see her go wild and uncontrollable. Jackson wanted his daughter back but the woman she became and not the same without Jonathan who kept her leveled. She's got no anchor and she doesn't react well to change. Lily needs to go off the deep end and take Jackson with her. It's the old adage. Becareful what you wish for because you may truly get it, and this could lead to loads of storyline for not only Jack and Lily but on the outside Jonathan who is now adjusting to a "normal" life.

Shouldn't Brooke be doing a big expose for Tempo about all that is Greg Madden? Instead we see Brooke interrupt Jamie and Julia doing the horizontal rumba. Come on Woman get to investigating. She needs to be in Erica's face getting that exclusive story about how Erica tried to Terminate her son only to have him be invincible. "How does that make you feel Erica?". Think about the host of problems an investigation by Brooke could bring up for the folks of PV. Edmund would have done it!!!

I was thinking to myself...how could I save this show if given a chance. This would be no easy task because I would have to deal with the mass slaughter of the history of the show. But here is my go at trying to save 35 years of storyline. I guess the easiest way would be to go full "Bobby Ewing". In case you are too young to remember. Some years back Dallas was blazing the airwaves when the writers did some drastic things with the characters that left the viewers scratching their collective heads. How did the remedy the situation? The following season the once dead Bobby Ewing walked out of the shower. It turns out the complete season before was just a bad dream. Ah...simplicity.

Unfortunately I do not have that luxury so here's my go at it:

Brooke begins her expose of the Evil Doctor Greg Madden. Savior or Psychopath? This would have her interacting with the entire cast not to mention would pull this murder mystery together for the viewers.
Dixie will decide that perhaps she doesn't need a man to save her from...well...life. She will continue the search for Kate but instead of leaning heavily on Zach and Tad and David she will be aided by Di, Erica and Brooke. Each of these women have their own stake in helping Dixie.
Jackson will come to blows with Jeff but not over Erica. Jeff will be getting a little to involved with the Montgomery family because of Josh's connection to Erica. Jeff will take "Being A Martin, Holier than thou" to far for Jack when Jeff becomes jealous of Jack's fatherly connection to Josh.
That being said Josh has nothing but contempt for his mother and has issues with living up to being a Holy Martin that he starts to bond with Erica's family. Josh goes from being alone to having a brother and four sisters.
Erin stops pretending and comes to grips with the fact she's gay (This character has been in denial too long).
Ryan becomes jealous of Zach's connection to his son. And he's got the ladies hearts all a patter. Kendall, Annie and here's a new one...Dixie are involved.
David gets burned on the family front but continues to dog his daughter. Will the doctor go mad? And he becomes the fly in ointment that is Julia and Jamie's romance. David isn't finished with her yet. This is where I would take full advantage of David's slightly (did I say slightly?) obsessive behavior.
Tad is going Darth Vader and who will be able to save him? It's not Dixie...It's Julia! And these two kids will inadvertently be brought together by Simone.
And that's my cue that something is coming from left field...Joe has a secret. Long before his older children Tara and Jeff were born Joe had an affair before he was married and he has a long lost child. But who could it be? I haven't decided yet but the possibilities are endless. Now that's how you infuse Martin Bloodlines! (No adjustment of history needed). It's all Additional BABY! Just ride the wave!

The writers are gearing up for another "Murder Mystery". These little plots usually take about a year to work through and then the murderer is someone who gets off or is someone who's leaving the show. So this is how I would have written this portion of the show.

I wouldn't kill off Greg Madden. He's a good villain that could be used again. Most especially since it has been revealed that he's fathered 1/2 the countryside. Plus see below with my Aidan connection.
I would have had Brooke and Tad working together to find Kate and have Dixie and JR working together to find Kate. Brooke could be working on a Tempo expose on Dr. Madden's exploits. I would have her writing a series of articles about IVF without naming Dr. Demento. With David's obsession of Dixie being written AGAIN already I would have him working with Brooke thus upsetting Tad and Dixie. And what an explosion if Brooke wrote the story about Erica's encounter with Greg after Josh discovers the truth. This would put Brooke right in the middle of Jeff and Erica not to mention everyone who loves Erica like Jack, Reggie & Kendall.
The reason to have JR and Dixie work together is it would further their relationship. It may heal them or drive them further apart. Either way these two have alot of things to discuss and would give them weeks of storyline.
As for Kendall I would have our little coma survivor faced with the knowledge that Spike might not be Ryan's baby. What if there was a chance the baby was Greg's? Or how about Greg messing with Kendall and Greenlee and implanting her with someone else in town seed?

Aidan's mother Lindsay was seemingly a woman without a husband since Lindsay's (Anna's older sister) son carries the surname of Devane....so....What if she had been helped twenty some years ago by one Dr. Greg Madden. With the storyline already in place that Dr. Greg had been planting his seed for years and given that both men are obviously from Britain it wouldn't take alot to connect the dots. That puts him as "step" brother of Josh. And brother to anyone who is a new character to town. And if the writers follow through with the Amanda surrogacy storyline and she is implanted with a Greg special baby then viola! Aidan's got a new sibling and a new complication for the happy couple of Erin & Aidan. Aidan could be obsessed with taking care of Amanda that it causes issues in his romance with Erin and a potential love interest with Amanda.
Personally I would have rather seen Josh be Kendall's twin brother from Erica's rape. It would have made way more sense that Mona didn't tell Erica about her son for well...two reasons...first being Kendall's wave of destruction when she first came to town and second a son would be a mirror to Richard Fields. It would also give the opportunity to have either this child be a good guy or a bad guy.
To increase the Martin family I would have gone in the direction of Tara Martin Jefferson's other children or how about Paul or Jeff having other children and of course there is Jake. When we last saw Dr. Jake he was happily engaged and sure there would be some SORASing involved but how about a chip off the old Jake. Okay so I can't change what's already written.
Summer is only weeks away and yet there are no young people on the canvas except for Lily and Jonny but this couple just doesn't work for me (maybe I'm the only one.) It's time for Peter to be recast as older and it's time for Reggie to have something better to do than watch out for Lily. With rumors of Colby coming back to town it is pretty obvious that if that happens that Colby and Petey will have a Romeo/Juliet storyline because of their embattled families. You know...sort of what they are trying to do with Lily and Jonathan but it's just coming off kind of lame. I would write Colby as a wild child and have her be a pregnant teen right away. That would immensely complicate her relationship with her father right off that bat. And with a pairing with Petey each family would have an issue with the pairing. Only I'd make Petey a player. This is where Del's daughter, that he knew existed but chose to ignore, comes to town. This increases the Henry family (with tension) and plays the other side of this complicated Pigeon Hollow feuding families. And what if it turns out that the real love of Colby's life isn't Petey but Reggie. Who is the father of her child? This storyline would utilize the young people and also would have more interaction of families.
Speaking of Reggie...Reggie had a family that was separated years ago so what if the summer teen gang worked part of the time to help Reggie find his sisters. It would give the potential for future characters and it would give the teens a summertime adventure on top of the base summer storyline. If his sisters came on the canvas I would write them as angry about his good fortune. Reggie would have alot of storyline off of this arc.

Okay...so I added a character (Del's daughter) but there is alot of potential storyline I can come up with. As the mood hits I'll update this page with my ideas. It's nice to have a place to write it like I would like to see it. But alas...I'm not the big kahuna so I just daydream...lol!!
