31, 2002 ~ Tuesday Simone and Kendall show up for work earlier than everyone else this New Years Eve and as they are being caddy about Greenlee our pint size giant of industry walks in and knocks them down to size. Hmmm....power struggle with Liza next? As the three start up their latest Cat Fight Liza and Mia walk in and Liza tells them she wonders if she made a mistake. Greens tells her no she didn't and informs everyone that she did the incorporate papers all night so they could be filed. Mia faxes them off to the lawyer and everyone cuts Greens some slack. Still worried they have no product to market Liza unleashes her surprise that she and Mia have found a warehouse full of product, certified, available immediately and tested with non-animal means. Can you say perfect! Gosh things just seem to work out for them. Those writers are so good to them, lol. Liza tells them they accomplished a lot (ummm they came up with a name...that's a lot?) and so being New Years Eve they decide to take he limo and go to the bar. Mia has plans with Jake and Greens says she'll meet them their. When Greenlee thinks everyone is gone she starts to cry and doesn't realized that Liza knew something was up and returned. She hugs Greenlee and gets her through her first New Years without her husband. Maureen, who is staying at Wildwind (separate wing, it seems to be a popular thing for the rich folks of PV.) is startled when she sees Aidan by her bed. She tells him she'll scream. "You aren't afraid of me are you?" he asks. Dude the fact she wants to scream for Edmund, well that's a dead giveaway, pardon the pun. Any who, she gives him five minutes to explain what happened with Fiona. Fiona who was married at the time unbeknownst to Aidan where having romps in his flat. He went to work and decided to come home early and surprise his lover only he was surprised because there on his bed she lay dead with the words "Your Next" scrawled on the wall in her blood. He's been on the run from this mystery killer ever since. She believes him. Maria tells him she'll continue to help him. She also tells him she understands now why he was so eager to help her in the park that day he was trying to save Fiona again. Edmund comes knocking at Maria's door. He tells her that since their is no Crystal Ball this year how about they have dinner together. She agrees to meet him. Um yuck...he decorated the barn and they are dining out their. (I have two problems with this...it's winter which Maria seemed to notice the cold...and it SMELLS in the barn! This guys idea of romance is bent!). Any way, they have a wonderful evening with Aidan listening to all and Edmund gives her a beautiful necklace. (Which can be purchased on Shop the Soaps.) JR is freaking out because Laurie hasn't tried to call him. She's working on her father and his drinking. They have another fight and Laurie goes over to Tad's. Tad and JR had just finished having a nice heart to heart where JR wants to rush over to Laurie's and set her father straight. Tad gets JR to see who would do something like that ADAM. Tad tells him he can talk to Mr. Perkins for JR if he wants and tell him that JR is a good kid. JR says maybe but later agrees with Tad and asks him to talk to Laurie's father for him. Laurie shows up but can't stay. She wanted to wish him a Happy New Year early. JR sets the clock to twelve puts on music and does his own count down to midnight. The two smooch. Laurie leaves and when she gets home she sees that her father has dumped out all his beer. He's going to try to find a job and stay sober. He tells her he knows that he's the reason her brother and sister stay away. She tells him she's not going anywhere. Ah emotional blackmail! December 30, 2002 ~ Monday "What Do Woman Want?" That was the question that plagued our new corporate girls. In their search for what woman want they also needed a name for their company. Kendall, Simone, Greenlee, Mia and Liza head over to their new headquarters with Maggie, Laurie and Joni in tow. Each share their fantasy of what they want. Maggie wants to be a crime buster as well as a surgeon. Laurie's fantasy is to have JR sweep her off her feet and elope with him. Joni wants to be a rock star with Jamie pining after her. Mia's dream is to on day meet her son William and he forgives her for giving him up for adoption. Kendall wants marriage and motherhood with Ryan at her side. Simone wants to see her brother Anthony wake up. Greenlee wants her company to be a success. And what was Liza's dream...it was happening. She was finding herself and it was in the creation of this company. The funniest dream sequence was Petey's who knows that woman want to be surfer babes, lol. After many hours and many pizza's the birth of FUSION takes place. December 27, 2002 ~ Friday Jake takes it personal when Mia tells him she doesn't want to get married on Valentine's Day. She tries to explain it's just too soon with all that has happened to her and she wants to find herself before she marries him. He looked like he was going to cry but agreed (like he had a choice). The coven as Erica called the meeting of Simone, Greenlee, Kendall and Liza had it's first meeting. Liza wasn't all that intrigued with the offer to dump money into a company with no direction but when Erica and Bianca arrived and started picking the idea apart well, Liza knew something was bothering Erica and perhaps she should give it a try. Erica puts on a flashy show and Bianca throws in some of her "You'll lose going up against my mother!" and the two boogie on out. Everyone's happy but they still do not have a concept. Liza asks Mia to join the coven in their brainstorm to which her sister tells her she has not experience in business. She's a personal trainer. So what, big sis has lots of money and is basically bored with sparing with Adam come on take a chance. Simone tells Mia she has no experience either and so Mia agrees to come on board. They all have a toast to the new company that has no concept! lol. Maria kisses Edmund and of course he backs down from his previous bark of "Get out of the house". She wants him to know she wants to try for her life but he has to understand it's hard for her and that she's not the Maria he loved all those years ago. Eddie softens up and just as they start to work out the problems of life the stable hand tells the Prince of the Manor that they may need an ambulance. When the go to the stables to check it out Maria is wigging to see Anna in the stable. She got queasy is all. But that doesn't explain what she's doing down there. Edmund for got he was carpool Dad and has to leave. Maria tells him she'll take care of Anna. The two women exchange concern for Aidan. Anna tells Maria the whole story, well the side she's been told. How Aidan was charged with assault but the charges were dropped and the woman Fiona he had been involved with turned up dead and he is the number one suspect. Maria remembers when Aidan was delirious that he kissed her and called her Fiona. She tells Anna that Aidan isn't capable of killing anyone. Anna reminds her that he was a soldier and in special forces in Afghanistan. Oh yeah...forgot about that but Aidan didn't do what he's accused of. All the while Aidan is listening from the loft. Anna assures Maria that she just wants to help her nephew and see that this trouble is cleared up but she can't do that without Aidan turning himself in. Yeah Right. Meanwhile, Jamie covers for Joni's diming out Laurie and JR to her father. JR can't believe Mr. Lewis knew that Laurie was there and wonders how he found out. With Laurie gone Joni needs a ride home and a ticked off JR agrees to give her a ride. December 26, 2002 ~ Thursday Christmas seems to be over in Pine Valley...I've noticed on other soaps it's just beginning, lol! We find in Pine Valley the sisters of forgiveness Liza and Mia all giggly. And Wow does Mia look all cured, not bad for falling out a third story window. So the sisters talk about Liza and how Liza doesn't want to be the person she was. Mia tells her that the person of old wasn't that bad a person over all. She taunts her sister with talk of Liza being a wimp. Nah, say it isn't so...but this talk has put a little fire under Liza and she's a woman looking for a project. The phone rings and it's JR he'd like a moment of Liza's time. He tries to talk her into investing in Kendall's company...oops sorry Kendall & Greenlee's company. In return for his help with Liza, Kendall gets Laurie to see JR so he can talk to her. Joni the good angel on Laurie's shoulder tries to talk her friend out of it because it will only make her father angrier. After all he is waiting in the parking lot of SOS for her. That's okay we can go out the back. Kendall says great and in the car on the way over to see JR Kendall gives her a wave of truly bad advice that is tempered by Joni's wholesome input. So yes, that would make Kendall the devil on the other shoulder, lol. They show up and who is there also but Jamie. (What I like about these two youngsters is they seem to have had the same dialogue for the last couple of meetings. "What are you doing here?" lol) Anna comes to Wildwind in search of answers which she doesn't get. Maureen and Edmund have a fight again about her closeness to Aidan and her lying to him. Maria never lied to him. And they have another fight about the fact that she's not Maria and she's beyond stressed out with the "everyone's expectation I'll get my memory back and be Maria again". While these two fight it out at the main house Anna has gone down to the stable to snoop around. She tries to climb up the ladder to the loft and starts to have pains. Hello you are 8 months pregnant and you really think you can climb a ladder? Aidan sees her and of course makes lots of noise to draw her attention even though he doesn't want to be found. So our super prego cop starts to climb the ladder too. Um Anna, luv, Xena you aren't! |
