December 31, 2004 ~ Friday

Kendall and Ethan surprise Bianca in her hospital room with a New Year's celebration. While Ethan is holding Miranda, Bianca and Kendall both notice that they kind of resemble each other. Bianca asks Ethan to take a DNA test. She tells him that before there were obstacles in his way to finding the truth and now with Miranda back in their lives he can find out once and for all if he's a Cambias with on cotton swab. He reminds the girls that Zach did a DNA test and it proved he wasn't his son. Bianca pushes him to have his own test done. Bianca then ushers the two love birds to have a quiet romantic NYE alone. They tell her they want to stay but Binx insists so the two head off.

Ryan and Greenlee spend their New Year's Eve breaking into Kendall's condo. They think they are alone but Zach observes it and leaves once they are inside. Greenlee's not so sure that Kendall tried to kill her and begins having flashes of memory from when Kendall saved her life. Ryan wants answers because with Miranda inheriting everything and someone set on killing those who are in line for the Cambias empire he needs to know who's behind it to protect her. While snooping Ryan discovers something on Kendall's laptop and Greenlee finds something in her closet. When Ethan and Kendall arrive at the condo they are shocked that the door is unlocked and even more shocked to see Greenlee and Ryan waiting for them inside. They confront Kendall with the evidence they've found.

Lily is upset when Aidan doesn't seem to want to be her boyfriend. Jackson and Livia arrive and Jack demands an answer. The adults got to privately discuss the matter. Reggie and Dani try to explain why Aidan can't be Lily's boyfriend and she takes off. Jack demands answers from Aidan. He explains what happened with the Hot Chicks and Jack understands. Anita suggest that they ask Lily what she thinks a boyfriend is and if it's innocent enough that Aidan won't have to break her heart. Everyone agrees and Aidan goes in search of Lily. He finds her in the supply closet. He asks her what she wants her boyfriend to be and she tells him they can do math puzzles together and they won't touch because she doesn't like that. He then agrees to be her boyfriend. A Happy Lily rejoins her family. Jackson thanks Aidan and the Montgomery's head off to Bianca's room to celebrate NYE. Anita and Aidan head off for their own celebration.

At the police station Erica demands that David and Krystal get the max and she wants Derek to track down Babe and put her in jail too. David and Krystal beg her to leave Babe alone. When Tad arrives he also tries to convince for his sake to let Babe and Jamie alone. Erica appears to give in but later Zach arrives at the police station. She tells him to leave her family alone. He reminds her that Miranda is his brother's child. Erica explodes and tell him she is not a Cambias her name is Montgomery. Either way Zach tells her that Miranda is family and he wants to help her destroy David and Krystal. Erica doesn't really want his help but cautiously agrees to let him search for Babe. He makes a comment that he has friends who can take care of David and Krystal quickly and Erica tells him no...she wants their pain dragged out over a long period of time just like Bianca's was and Zach informs her he can do that too. The two form an uneasy alliance. Zach then tells Derek that his people found the video from the night that Adam Chandler says he was drugged and kidnapped and wants to give it to the police. Derek says right.

David tries to convince Krystal to lie and agree that it was all him but she won't go along with it. She's sick of the lies. Tad comes to the cell and tell her that for once David's right she needs to lie to protect the children. She agrees to go along with it. David and Krystal share a moment in their cell but Krystal's heart is still with Tad.


November 17 - December 30, 2004 (Recap)

Ethan is cleared of shooting Ryan but that leaves the question of who did shoot him. Greenlee's erratic behavior is noticed by Kendall and she saves Green's life twice. Later when Greenlee snaps completely it is discovered that she's been drugged and Zach gives Greenlee and Ryan evidence that it was Kendall. Ethan searches Kendall's apartment while she's away and destroys incriminating evidence. Zach observes this and warns Ethan to stay away from Kendall. Ethan tells Ryan that he knows Kendall is innocent and that they all should be looking at Zach as the suspect.

Babe and Jamie learn while on the road that Bianca still doesn't know about Miranda and decide to take matters into their own hands, risking the truth about Baby James. At the Miranda Montgomery Foundation fundraiser in Florida Bianca gets JR to attend as a singer and while there Babe sets in motion the events to reunite Miranda and Bianca once and for all. Jamie keeps JR in a warehouse while Babe tells Bianca everything. After much conjoling Binx finally accepts the truth and whacks Babe in the face for her lies and keeping her for her child. JR hits Jamie with a wrench and arrives at the apartment after Babe has left. When JR tries to take "Bess" Bianca tells him he is going nowhere but to the clinic for a DNA test to prove that "Bess" is really Miranda. While fighting Bianca falls off the balcony of the Florida hotel room. Tad sees and rushes to Bianca's aid. Did JR push her? This is the question that Erica and Kendall ask while at the hospital with Bianca who has suffered head trauma. Tad tells Erica the truth about Miranda being Bess and gets her to follow a plan to keep JR in the dark until they get back to Pine Valley. While Bianca clings to life Erica is desperate to prove that "Bess" is really Miranda Mona Montgomery and elicits Adam's help. The DNA Test is witnessed by Judge Lambert and it does prove that "Bess" Chandler is really Miranda Montgomery. Everyone rallies around Bianca as she gets worse. JR tries to run with Miranda when Tad, Jack and Erica arrive to take her to Bianca. The child is found by Aidan and Tad and JR is destroyed by his father's betrayal. Bianca comes out of her coma and is reunited with her child. She's angered about all the betrayal from people she once loved. She and Maggie continue to become close which angers Jonathan.

Brooke turns the blackmail on Adam telling him that she's going to run a story blaming JR for Bianca's accident in Tempo. She wants her son back and he'll make it happen. Adam tells Tad he'd better stop Brooke from running the story or there will be hell to pay. Tad goes to Tempo and tells Brooke everything from start to finish. He explains that Jamie is never coming back. Brooke and Tad have only the knowledge that their son is a good man.

Adam still in pursuit of Liza and Colby tries to get Aidan to find them and Aidan turns him down and then presents him with a letter from Liza telling Adam to leave them alone and why she left. Aidan calls Liza and tells her that he gave Adam the letter and hopefully he'll leave them alone.

Greenlee and Ryan worry who poisoned her and decide to find out the truth. Ryan tells Jonathan that he's giving Cambias Industries to it's rightful heir who is Miranda Montgomery. Jonathan freaks out and starts drinking. Maggie discovers that Jonathan was keeping her from Bianca during her coma and confronts him only to be assaulted by him. He begs her to forgive him and tells her that she was too hard on him and gives him a second chance.

Bobby and Anita Warner divorce and Anita eases into a relationship with Aidan. Maria and Edmund continue to fight and he's still seeking a divorce. Maria becomes angry when Edmund makes plans with the children which exclude her. The two reach a truce for the children's sake. Maria is still drawn to Zach but loves Edmund as well. Erica and Jackson become engaged and their children are thrilled...even Greenlee.

The "Hot Chicks" continue to harass Lily and after spray painting her with red paint their torture is halted by Aidan who now has the adoration of Lily...she wants him to be her boyfriend. Danielle and Reggie fight their hormones and grow closer.

While in New Orleans Jamie and Babe make plans for their new life and decide on Hope, Arkansas as their new home. A shattered JR is visited by Kendall who demands to know if he was responsible for her sister's accident and if he knew the truth about Miranda. He tells her that he didn't believe it. Kendall accepts JR's explanation and vows to get Babe for what she's done to everyone. JR tells his friend that now he only lives to pay Babe back for everything she's done. Erica stops by the mansion to tell JR that Bianca is out of the coma and extends an olive branch telling him that she is sure that Bianca will let him see Miranda. JR tells Erica he doesn't want to see the child again. He later tells Adam that he's going to make Babe pay for what she's taken from him and he will use the only thing Adam taught him to do it.

Zach notices that Krystal and David aren't shocked by the news Bess Chandler is really Miranda and confronts them. David tells him to go away. Later the pair visit Bianca to pump her for information as to whether she remembers what Babe told her about James. She tells them she does and they beg her not to tell JR the truth. Binx asks them if they mean they want her to do to JR what they did to her? She won't promise anything. Bianca asks David how after everything he went through with Leora that he could watch her mourn her child and watch it happening and say nothing. She was a visitor in her daughter's life for 9 months and she'll never get back those 9 months! Erica is upset to see David and Krystal with Bianca. She asks to speak to them. Outside the room Derek arrest the duo.

Ethan and Kendall continue to grow closer and Ethan stands by Kendall through Bianca's ordeal and believes she is innocent in trying to kill Greenlee.

November 16, 2004 ~ Tuesday

Bianca meets Erica at the "New Beginnings" site but it's not the reason Erica thinks. Bianca confronts her mother as to why she told her something completely different than what JR told her. Erica explains she never read the letter but she knew Babe was trying to hurt her; at least that's what JR told her. Bianca tells her mother for a moment while looking at "Bess" she swore it could be true that Miranda was alive. Erica reminds Bianca that Joe did a DNA test and she spoke to Joe. Bianca understands and assures her mother she's not going there again. Erica tells her daughter that she really wants there to be new beginnings for all of them, Bianca, Erica and Kendall. Bianca agrees.

Ethan runs into Aidan outside as he makes his big break from the hospital. Aidan stops him and tells him that Ryan's been shot at again. Ethan tells him he couldn't have done it since he was under guard but Aidan points out he was able to slip away from the guard so maybe he did do it. Ethan tells him that he's an expert marksman and that if he wanted Lavery dead he'd be just that…Dead! Aidan covers for Ethan when the Guard comes outside looking for the escaped suspect. Maria wonders why Aidan covered for Ethan and Aidan tells his friend that someone tried to kill Ryan again so it might not have been Ethan after all. He just wants answers.

Tad is having a difficult time with the knowledge that Bianca is still not with Miranda when JR stops by with "Bess" to talk about Jamie. He explains that he tried to get Jamie away from Babe and that he really wanted to get back to being brothers like they used to be but Jamie wasn't interested. Tad sees how much JR loves "Bess" but he's not sure if JR really knows the truth about the baby. JR then tells Tad he doesn't want Jamie found. Tad's shocked and JR tells him that Jamie stole $10,000 from Adam's safe and Adam is set upon having Jamie arrested to force Tad to tell him where Colby is. After JR has gone Joe stops by to visit Tad and he tells his father the whole tale. He asks Joe what he should do and Joe tells Tad he already knows what he should do. Joe asks if Brooke knows the truth and Tad tells him he hasn't told her everything yet. Joe also points out that it is David's word that Jamie was involved in Paul Kramer's murder, which isn't the best information to go by. Joe points out the similarities between the Dixie/JR and Babe/Ace situation and Tad tells his father he doesn't have to tell him he told ya so. After Joe leaves Aidan arrives with the information Tad wanted. He chastises his mate for getting Jamie the fake ID's in the first place but gets a chuckle that Jamie used Brad and Kate Anderson saying his Grandma Kate would have loved that.

Ryan confronts Slater with the fact that the bullets were his and they are his mark. He tells him he doesn't know what kind of game he's pulling but if he wants to shoot him go ahead but leave his wife alone. Zach plays dumb about the whole issue but Ryan isn't buying the act.

Greenlee runs down Kendall but both women are okay. Kendall heads to the PVH just to be sure but freaks out at Greenlee for loosing it. Greenlee is convinced Kendall has murdered Ryan. Jonathan takes Greenlee upstairs to the penthouse and gets her a drink. He leaves her alone to get her something to eat and Greenlee falls asleep and dreams that Kendall murdered Ryan and when she wakes up and sees Ryan she thinks it's not really him because she knows he's dead. Ryan is upset to see his wife so crazed. When Jonathan comes back Ryan lays into him for leaving Greenlee alone and asks what happened but is interrupted by Greenlee's outburst. Greens cries that she doesn't understand what's happening to her and Ryan scoops up his wife to rush her to the hospital they will help her.

At the hospital Kendall sees Ethan and she rushes to him. He becomes upset when he sees the cuts and bruises and she tells him that Greenlee ran him down thinking she killed Ryan. The two share a moment before Kendall has to get checked out. Anita is still angry with Kendall for paying her husband to seduce Greenlee and tells Kendall it's okay because she's a professional. Kendall takes the opportunity to explain and apologize to Anita for everything she did and they come to an understanding.

Maria and Zach discuss Ethan and what happened to Ryan. Zach slips that Ethan was supposed to be in jail that's why he didn't bail him out. Maria puts the pieces together that Zach is the second shooter to make Ethan look not guilty. After Zach leaves Maria pours her heart out to Anita that she loves Zach and Edmund and she's not sure what she's going to do but she wants to make things work with Edmund.

November 15, 2004 ~ Monday

Erica is excited by her new venture "New Beginnings" and asks Kendall to meet her at the possible site of her new headquarters for the venture. Kendall loves the place and gives her mother thumbs up about her whole idea. The two soon quarrel about Bianca and Babe and the letter that she left behind. Erica finally diverts Kendall from the topic and goes back to "New Beginnings" commenting that the owner of the building is late. Who should come walking through the door other than Zach Slater? Kendall leaves the two adversaries to talk and Zach informs Erica that he warned her if she hurt Maria and Edmund he would have a reason to stay and now he's doing just that and he refuses to sell her the building. Zach leaves and Erica makes a phone call and finds a loophole to get Zach to sell to her.

Ryan panics after the gunfire when Greenlee won't come too. Finally she does and he's relieved but upset that someone is trying to kill him. The two rush back to the penthouse and wait for Derek at their car in the garage. Jonathan runs into his brother and Greenlee in the garage telling them he's just picking up the last of his belongings and he's out of their way. Ryan tells him all that went down and that they are waiting for the police. Derek arrives and takes their statements and puts a policeman to watch over them. Ryan checks out their car and notices the slugs match the rifle that he left at Zach's office. Ryan rushes to Slater's office to confront him. Jonathan gives Greenlee a drink and then leaves her alone. Greenlee starts to hallucinate that Kendall shot Ryan and when she sees her in the parking garage she guns the engine and the car comes toward Kendall.

JR tells Bianca that Babe's letter said that Bess is actually Miranda. Bianca doesn't believe JR and tells him that Babe wouldn't have kept her from her child if that were the truth. She tells him that he however would be that cruel. JR tells Bianca he really does want Bianca to be a part of Bess's life. She asks for the letter that Babe wrote her and JR tells her that it's gone. Bianca leaves.

Ethan is taken to PVH for a hand injury. While working on Ethan's hand Maria learns from the young man that Zach refused to help him with the bail. Maria is shocked. Maria is called out of the examination room for a moment. While Maria, Anita and the Guard's backs are turned Ethan makes a dash for it only to run into Aidan.

November 12, 2004 ~ Friday

Jamie worries that someone broke into their room when they were asleep and stole their $10,000 dollar stash. Babe is upset that someone could have stolen the baby but they were lucky it was just the money. He tells her they are broke and she asks him to unbutton her shirt, which Jamie doesn't do so she does it instead. She has cash stuffed in her bra and Jamie inquires as to where the money came from and she tells him she pawned her engagement ring. So now that the young couple has some cash they hit the road again.

At Tad's house he and Krystal continue the on going argument over Babe and Jamie and the fact that she and David had ample opportunity to let him on the truth but chose not to. Brooke walks in as the two ex-love birds argue and wants to know the part that Tad left out but before any explanations are delivered Opal enters the living room with a major attack of her own. She lashes out at Krystal for ruining everyone's life. Krystal shuts everyone up and asks Tad to turn up the volume on the TV so she can hear what Kevin and Kelly Buchanan are saying. The Buchanan's make a plea for the return of their son. When the plea is over the fighting resumes. Tad ushers Opal and Brooke out and promises to keep in contact with them. There is a knock on the door and it's Aidan who tells him he only has one piece of news and that is that Paul Kramer is missing and may be dead.

Bianca demands that Erica tell her what the letter said. Jackson plays advocate and Erica is vague so Bianca leaves the Valley Inn in search of answers. JR informs Adam that he'd better drop bringing Babe and Jamie back to Pine Valley or he will crush Adam. Adam wants to know what's going on and JR tells his father about the letters and that no one especially Bianca is taking his daughter away and that he will destroy the person who tries to take her. Adam wonders if it is true that perhaps when JR and Adam were forcefully asking Kramer whose baby survived he gave up Miranda as the Chandler Baby. Bianca stops by the mansion looking for answers or more to the point the letter that Babe wrote her. JR gets Adam to leave the two of them alone and he and is very vague when Bianca demands the letter or to know what was in it. JR wants to know what Erica told her but Bianca is a vague as JR. She picks up "Bess" and tells him she will have the truth now and from him as to what the letter said. JR tells her that the letter said that the baby she's holding is really Miranda. Bianca is shocked.

Kendall, Ryan and Greenlee are at the Fusion/Enchantment labs for the big holiday launch of the new perfume "Enchantment". They tour the plant. As Greenlee is looking at the bottles on the conveyor belt she hits the on switch and the bottles fly off the belt. Kendall sees the mess and demands Greenlee snap out of it and she does and shuts off the machine. When Ryan meets up with the pair Kendall covers for Greenlee and leaves. Ryan and Greenlee sit outside and talk about what's going on with her. While looking at Ryan, Greenlee's sight goes blurry and Ryan tells her he's taking her to the hospital because he loves her but she's afraid he's going to lock her up in Oakhaven. Off in the distance is a person with a high-powered rifle and the rifle is fired.

November 11, 2004 ~ Thursday

Ryan wants Greenlee to go to see Maria to get checked. Green Pea tells her hubby that she's okay now that she's got some sleep and that she thought it was just sleep deprivation that caused her mood swings. Ryan's not buying her miraculous recovery and tells her they are going to see Maria. Greenlee is outraged that Ryan would force her to do something she doesn't think she needs. She tells him that this is their first fight as a married couple. She begs him to just let her alone and that they can just live their lives. Somewhere in the distance someone has the newlyweds in the cross hairs of a riflescope.

Bianca visits Zach at his office and wants to know why he won't help Ethan with his bail. Bianca tries to reason with him in spite of his lies. As Bianca is leaving Zach asks what Miranda looked like and she tells him a little like Ethan.

JR and Kendall talk about Bianca being more in "Bess's" life. Kendall tells him it's not about that she needs him to lend her $1 million dollars for Ethan's bail and JR turns her down and tells her to leave. Kendall tells him Babe and Bianca were right JR's turned into a major jackass. When Adam arrives home to tell JR he messed up big by not showing up at the meeting that he set up about getting funding. JR ignores his father and tells him they need more security around the mansion. Adam is furious and tells his son they are BROKE! JR lashes back at his father that "Bess" needs him and that's all that matters Adam wants to know what he's talking about. He rants on about protecting his daughter and no one ever is going to take "Bess" away. Adam is confused by JR's exploits.

Babe wakes up in the motel room to Jamie and James bonding and smiles. Babe expresses her thanks that Jamie gave up everything for her and her baby. Babe and Jamie hear the news report that the police are hot on the kidnappers of Ace Buchanan. Babe tells him that they should continue to keep a low profile for a little bit more. Jamie goes out for food and a portable crib and while making French toast with her hot iron Babe sets off the smoke alarm which makes the motel manager angry plus they over stayed past the check out time so that will be another day's rent. Jamie goes to retrieve money from the "JR Fund" and discovers it missing.

Maria confronts Erica about diming her out with Edmund about her visit with Zach at the cemetery. Erica ever protective of her children explains she doesn't care about who Maria gropes but when that someone is a Cambias well it's her business. She reminds the good doctor that it was a Cambias that raped her daughter and another Cambias who gain her children's trust only to have lied about who he was and what he wanted. Maria tells Erica that Zach gave money to the Foundation because Miranda was his niece. Erica quips back that they don't need his money. As she leaves she runs into Brooke and tells Maria that Brooke can pick up the broken pieces to Edmund's heart…she believes the PC term is Recycling. Brooke tells Maria she spoke to Edmund and she hope that they work things out. Maria thinks she knows what changed and Brooke asks if she made a mistake trying to convince Edmund to give things another chance.

Erica meets Bianca, Opal and Myrtle in the lobby at the Valley Inn and they join Brooke and Maria for a meeting concerning the Foundations fund raising. Before the meeting starts there is an all out catfight amongst the women and none other than Myrtle Fargate quickly brings it under control! Erica goes off about Maria and Zach and that she won't let Bianca be hurt by that Cambias or Babe every again. Bianca wants to know how Babe has hurt her? Later Bianca asks Kendall if Babe left a letter for her and she tells her sister yes but she left it on the desk for her. After much cajoling Erica finally admits to knowing about the letter and inadvertently tells Bianca so did JR. Bianca is furious and wants to know what was in the letter.

Zach is having someone followed and gets a phone call about that person.

Greenlee and Ryan run into Kendall outside the Fusion Labs where the trio is pushing "Enchantment" perfume. Someone has got Ryan in a riflescope.

November 10, 2004 ~ Wednesday

Bianca leaves the cabin satisfied with the trio's excuses and once she's gone Tad continues to argue with Krystal and David. Tad asks how David could do this to Bianca since he supposedly loves her. He also chastises Krystal for changing the DNA test and now because of everything they set in motion with their months of lies his son is facing charges for kidnapping the Lt. Governor's son and possible murder charges. Tad promises David that if anything should happen to his son he will hunt him down and make him pay.

At the Valley Inn Bar Mary and Adam are sharing a table when Greenlee all bubbly visits her mother. She comments to Brooke how wonderful a couple Adam and Mary make and wouldn't it be great if they married. Brooke retorts that they deserve each other. Greenlee and Mary have a chat about Green's getting pregnant and Mary is less than happy about the news. She asks Greenlee if she shouldn't wait to which her daughter expresses anger and storms off. Meanwhile Adam pushes Brooke's buttons by telling her that her son has run off with Babe. Brooke doesn't believe him at first but he promises he'll stop at nothing to find Jamie. She asks what the catch is and he tells her all she must to do is get Tad to tell him where Colby is and he'll find Jamie. Brooke tells him she doesn't make deals with the devil.

Kendall sees Ryan at the courthouse and tells him of Greenlee's erratic exploits of late and at first he doesn't believe her but then when her tales get more intense he becomes concerned.

Zach visits with Ethan before his bail hearing and tries to convey that he wants to help the young man. Ethan asks what he is to him and he makes it seem as though Ethan really is his son. When Ethan asks Zach point blank if that is the case Mr. Cambias Slater tells him no it isn't. He just wants to help him. As the case begins Greenlee rushes in telling the Judge to slam the book on Ethan, Ryan ushers her outside and asks her what's going with her. She tells him she's just stress about everything that 's going on and she's worried about him. He tells her it goes both ways and she promises him she's okay. But when bail is set at $1 million dollars cash Zach refuses to help. Kendall turns to Greenlee and Ryan and tells them she will sell all her stocks to them and Greenlee turns her down. Ryan asks Kendall to think about what she's doing before she does it. She begs Aidan for help but he tells him that he's working for Ryan and he can't help her. Greenlee sits to catch her breath and Jonathan brings her a glass of water, which she drinks.

Jonathan and Maggie argue but make up when Maggie asks him to move in. Jonathan heads to court to support Ryan. Bianca stops by to visit Maggie who asks her to call in the future before stopping by. Bianca questions why the request and Maggie tells her that Jonathan is moving in with her. Bianca is shocked and tries to talk her out of it. Maggie tells her he loves her and she loves him. Just then Jonathan comes home and kisses Maggie making Bianca uncomfortable. Jonathan suggests that he make himself scarce and Maggie tells him he doesn't have to, he lives there too and asks Bianca if Jonathan stays. Bianca is speechless.

David is angry at Tad for attacking Krystal. Krystal tells him that Tad is correct for being angry because she changed the DNA Test everyone's life is in danger and messed up. He tries to pin it on Paul Cramer but Krystal tells him it should have ended but she changed the results and now everyone is paying the price.

Brooke leaves the Valley Inn Bar and heads to Tad's for answers about what Adam told her concerning Jamie. Tad tells her it's true and gives her the letter that he wrote to them. Brooke is concerned about her son and confused as to what Tad isn't telling her. Tad explains that he can't tell her everything but promises his ex-wife that he will find Jamie and bring him home.

Someone with a high-powered rifle is loading it with bullets.

November 9, 2004 ~ Tuesday

Bianca is watching "Bess" for JR and Tad arrives happy that she's reunited with her daughter only to be confused by Bianca's reaction to the situation. It eventually comes to the Private I that she has not idea t hat she's holding Miranda. As Tad tries to explain his confusion to Bianca David comes in acting very strange and insisting on speaking to Tad privately. Tad brushes him off and David becomes more insistent. JR arrives home and smugly acts like the two are being weird and tells Tad to go with David before David gets more agitated. Tad realizes that JR knows the truth. Bianca is sees that the men know something she doesn't and wants to know what it is. Tad tells her he'll be back and leaves with David. The two men go to David's cabin to further discuss what David's problem is.

JR tells Bianca he's serious that he wants her to be a part of "Bess's" life and with Babe gone his daughter will need a strong mother figure. Bianca's got the feeling JR's up to something but when Adam comes into the room demanding an answer as to what Bianca is doing holding his grand daughter JR defends her and tells his father that he's okay with it. Bianca takes her cue to leave. Adam is furious with JR and tells him that he's frustrated at not being able to find Colby so he's stepping things up and is going to have Jamie arrested. JR freaks out telling his father to drop the issue and that he is not to bring Babe and Jamie back to Pine Valley. He rants on about the fact that if Jamie comes back they can take his daughter and NO one is taking his daughter from him…EVER!

David tells Tad he can't tell Bianca the truth and Krystal backs up David. Tad is not surprised. Tad tells him he's had enough of the lies and tricks and he's telling Bianca everything because she deserves to have her daughter. Finally David tells Tad that if he tells Bianca that his son could go to jail for murder to which Tad snickers. David tells his nemesis about finding Jamie standing over Paul Cramer's dead body. Tad questions if Cramer was dead how come no one knows. David remarks that's it's only a matter of time and now Tad knows why he can't tell Bianca the truth. Bianca surprises, Tad, Krystal and David by stopping by the cabin for answers. She comments that everyone is acting really odd and she wants answers.

Maria is outraged that Edmund called Zach and then at the way the two men are treating the issues of who gets her. She tells them it's ridiculous and she tries to get Edmund to understand she loves him but he will not forgive her her betrayal. Maria leaves for the stable and Zach follows. Edmund gets a visit from Brooke who tries to reason with the King of his own Pity Party. Brooke reminds him that he forgave her. He makes a comment that what she did wasn't worse than what Maria did and she reminds him that she married him knowing that his dead wife was alive and didn't tell him. She then compares her actions with that of Maria not telling him that Zach Slater was Alex Cambias and tells him he's being stupid. She confronts him that he's using this lame excuse to distance himself from Maria because of the wheelchair and that just because he acts as though he's resigned himself to his life in the chair he really hasn't.

Maria heads to the stables with Zach in tow. He tells her that he can't not love her and that he wants her. She tells him her life is with Edmund and their children. Zach understands but it doesn't make him love her less. Maria leaves to go back to the house and finds Edmund telling Maddie that he and her mother are divorcing and that he's moving into the hunting lodge. Maddie is devastated and Maria tells her to get ready for bed but the lass rushes to the stables tack room and cries. Zach watches the child from afar. Maria is furious that Edmund would tell Maddie anything before they've had a chance to talk and then tells Edmund maybe he's right she'll give him a divorce.

November 8, 2004 ~ Monday

Maria is upset that Edmund called Zach to get her out of his house. Zach tells Edmund that he did love her and that when they were living together in the desert all those years ago she left him because of her memories of Edmund. Edmund question why he came to Pine Valley and Zach tells him he loves Maria but she said goodbye to him and that she loved Edmund. Zach reminds Edmund that she chose him and loves him.

David and Krystal argue about Babe and Jamie's actions and that he's worried about Babe. Krystal tries to sell him on the fact that Jamie is taking care of Babe. David tells her that they kidnapped the Lt. Governor's son. Krystal tells her that with a DNA test it will prove Ace is her son. David tells her that the letters that Babe wrote will get her in all kinds of trouble. David leaves to do damage control.

The police pull over and talk to Jamie and Babe. Jamie asks what's up. The officer tells him he's parked on a blind curve and chastises him and asking if "Mr. Anderson" is having car trouble. "Brad" explains that the baby was fussy so they pulled over to feed James. The state trooper asks to hold James and comments that his face is familiar. He tells the couple they have a problem. The policeman is satisfied with the explanation and lets the family move on.

Tad is stunned when he sees Bianca holding Miranda. He tells her he sorry and he is glad it's over. Bianca asks what is over? Tad is confused that Bianca doesn't hate Babe for leaving. Tad asks if Bianca knew that Babe wrote some letters before she went. She tells him that JR got a letter and started acting weird right away and then changed is attitude and wants Bianca to be a part of Bess' life. She asks if Tad knows what was in the letter. Tad and Bianca discuss Babe and the fact she had her reasons why she left Bess behind. David arrives at the mansion and interrupts Tad and Bianca.

Erica queries JR as to what he is doing in Bianca's apartment. JR tells her that he broke in to take a letter Babe wrote to Bianca telling her she's gone and that Bess is really Miranda. JR tells her that Babe did it to stick JR and that she's sick. JR tells her that he wanted to protect Bianca. Erica wonders what's really going on and doubts JR. Erica questions that it could be Miranda is alive and JR tells her that Tad ran a DNA test confirming that Babe is a liar and that Bess is his daughter. JR explains he couldn't watch Bianca go through the heartache of losing Miranda again. He tells her that Joe Martin ran the DNA test with zero margin of error. Erica become outraged that Babe would put Bianca through all of this pain and agrees with JR that the letter must be kept from Bianca.

November 5, 2004 ~ Friday

JR reels from Babe's letter and the fact that Bianca is standing in front of him. He tells her she can't take "her" meaning "Bess" but Bianca doesn't know what he's talking about. She wants to know where Babe is and he rambles on about not being able to believe anything that Babe writes she'd make up anything to keep him from "Bess". Bianca spies the letter on the chair. Bianca asks if he's heard from Babe. He is shocked and confused that Bianca isn't there for Miranda. He tells her that Babe left with Jamie and Bianca is confused that she left "Bess" behind. She grabs the letter off the chair that Babe wrote to JR to see what she had to say to him and why she left. JR tries to cover by telling Bianca that "Bess" needs her. She's not buying it and he some how convinces her that he wants her to be a part of his daughter's life with Babe gone she'll need a strong woman in her life. He also tells her that he spoke to Kendall, which helps Bianca understand where he's coming from. JR asks Bianca to watch "Bess" while he runs and errand to show he's really serious. She relents and holds "Bess" with a smile on her face.

JR breaks into Bianca's apartment looking for the letter that Babe wrote to Bianca. At the mansion Bianca bonds with "Bess" and Winifred comes in with the baby's food and is startled to see Bianca holding "Bess" without JR home. Bianca assures the maid that all is okay. JR finds Babe's letter to Bianca and reads it. He doesn't notice that Erica has come in and she demands to know what he's doing there and asks him to turn over what he has in his hands.

At Wildwind, Maria tries to extend an olive branch to Edmund but he swats it away. She tells him that they can't live like this and it's not good for the children. Edmund agrees and is glad that Sam is in France doing a student exchange. Maria tries to get Edmund to see a marriage counselor but he tells her that he has call someone…his lawyer and suggest he do the same. Maddie (a SOARAS) walks in on her parents and wants to know why they are arguing. She asks her father to fix things and he tells her he's not sure she can. Maria watches Maddie leave for school and asks Edmund what he told her. He tells her that Maddie pretty much figured things out and she tells him she's not giving him a divorce. Edmund reminds Maria of the infidelity she had with his brother and this time she managed to be unfaithful without actually having sex with the guy. Maddie misses the bus so Maria must drive her to school before she leaves she tells Edmund it's not over and they will finish their talk when she returns. When Maria arrives home she's angry with Edmund for upsetting Maddie. Shortly after the doorbell rings and it's Zach who tells her that Edmund call him. Edmund tells Slater that he can have Maria.

Ryan pays Zach a visit at his office and tries to unsettle him. When Ryan constantly calls him Alex he reminds the CEO of Cambias Industries that his name is Zach. Ryan is glad that he hasn't made a play for Cambias. He then tries to jar Zach with talk of Ethan and how he hopes he goes to jail for a long time for shooting him. Ryan tells him that Ethan is getting what he deserves. He shows Zach his new toy, which is a high power rifle like the one that he was shot with. He pushes and pushes Zach about Ethan and why he's still in Pine Valley. When he leaves Zach's office Ryan feels that the game has just begun. Ryan waits for Zach to leave and goes back into his office and Aidan meets up with him. The two discuss Zach as a suspect. Ryan tells him he wants answers. He discovers something in the desk.

Tad chastises David and Krystal for their manipulation and deceit. David lashes back but Krystal tells him to stop. Tad continues his verbal assault of truth that rattles David and Krystal. He can't understand how David who claimed to love Bianca could deny her a life with her daughter for a child he just discovered. He tells both of them to get out. Before Krystal leaves she tells him she really did love him. Tad heads over to the mansion to talk to JR and discovers Bianca holding Miranda.

Jamie, Babe and James take a break from the road. Jamie puts on the radio and they hear a bulletin that Lt. Governor Kevin Buchanan's son is missing. Babe panics and Jamie tells her to calm down. They've kept to the back roads and have a big head start. No one knows they took the boy so they are going to be fine. Babe is happy that James is with her and Miranda is with Bianca now. Jamie takes a stab at feeding James and he slings his strained peas at his new dad.

Back at David's he and Krystal argue about Babe kidnapping Ace and that it's only a matter of time before the feds catch them and Babe and Jamie will be in a lot of trouble. Babe and Jamie are about to get back on the road when a police car drives closer to them and Jamie tells her not to panic.

November 4, 2004 ~ Thursday

With Ace in tow Babe and Jamie hit the road. They talk about the letters being delivered to everyone and how nothing will ever be the same. Jamie tells Babe they are in Virginia and they continue driving. Babe doesn't like the name Ace and asks Jamie if James would be okay for her baby boy and the two agree. Jamie tells him it comes with a catch that he will be a real father to her son. She agrees. Jamie asks what Babe is thinking and she tells her that she knows that Tad loves him and she hopes that her mother doesn't take all the blame. Babe tells Jamie that he and James will love Florida and that she hopes that Bianca is holding Miranda.

JR is the first to receive his letter. Then Tad arrives home to find a letter from Jamie. Tad reads his letter from Jamie telling his father that he's gone forever not just for a few days. Tad asks Krystal if she knew about it and she tells him to continue to read it. Tad confronts Krystal and demands the Truth once and for all. He is upset that Jamie is gone forever and he wants the truth. Tad becomes frustrated with Krystal and badgers her further why their children really took off. Krystal tells Tad he can't blame Babe and he tells her okay he blames her and asks what she did? Krystal won't tell Tad what happened with the children. Tad asks Krystal how could Babe walk away from her own child and he looks at Krystal and realizes that "Bess" isn't her child and that it wasn't Bianca's baby who died in the crash and that the whole time Krystal knew. He says out loud that Bess is really Miranda. Tad is in shock! Tad starts putting all the pieces together and realizes that Krystal fixed the DNA test that he ran. He then chastises her for destroying so many lives to allow her daughter to play mommy. Tad then realizes that is why the kids ran away that Bianca is going to find out the truth. Krystal tells him that Babe wrote a letter to Bianca. He then questions how could Krystal and Babe keep Bianca in torment and misery. Krystal tells her that she did it for Babe and Babe chose JR so she gave her daughter a chance with JR. She starts blaming JR and Tad turns on her. Krystal tries to tell Tad that is was all Paul Kramer's doing. Krystal tells him that she was dying inside and Tad challenges her if she was dying when Bianca's heart told her that "Bess" was her daughter and everyone told Bianca she wasn't. She tells him that she did it for her daughter and he tells her that she let Bianca think she was losing her mind and she stole her child. Krystal's only defense was that if she knew what JR was really like she wouldn't have done it but she did hurt Babe and Bianca and she wishes she could change things. Krystal tells Tad she did love him and to never doubt it. Tad tells her it doesn't matter anymore and that it's over and everyone's lives have been destroyed because of her.

Greenlee goes in search of David and finds him coming home to the cabin. David doesn't see his letter in the plant outside. Greenlee is frantic and David blames Ryan for her stress. He asks Greenlee questions and jokes with her and she tells him that she nearly belly flopped off her balcony and starts to leave. Concerned David tells his sister-in-law he will help her. Greens tells him that Maria ran some blood tests and David asks what her symptoms are. He feels its stress. She tells him she needs to find out what's wrong with her and she tells him she wants to have a baby. David shares about his daughter telling him she loved him. He then tells Greenlee that he'll help her and asks her to come by the hospital tomorrow and he'll have her fit in not time. Greenlee starts to hallucinate and tells David she'll see him tomorrow and knocks the letter that was in the plant over when she exits. Bianca calls David to see if Babe is there and asks him to have her call her when he hears from her. David goes outside for fresh air when he discovers the letter from Babe. He reads it and Babe tells him and Krystal why she and Jamie had to leave and is upset and goes in search of Krystal for answers.

Kendall sees the letter from Babe outside Bianca's door as she's leaving. Bianca asks what it is and Kendall puts the letter on the desk and tells her nothing. Before leaving Kendall thanks her Mother and sister for their help. Jackson comes into the apartment as Kendall is leaving and tells Erica and Bianca that nothing happened at the meeting except that the "Hot Chicks" parents are just as bad as the children. The parents blame Lily as did the principle. Jackson expresses his frustrations and Bianca adds that sometimes-good parents keep bad parents from hurting. Jack asks what she's talking about or whom is she talking about. Erica and Jackson know Bianca is talking about Babe and Jackson tells Bianca that if Babe hasn't done anything drastic yet she might be able to get the custody agreement thrown out due to duress. Bianca is excited. She is renewed with Jackson's news. After Jack leaves Erica talks to Bianca about sharing her love with another child and asks her to consider having another baby. She thanks her mother for her concern and input but tells her it's too soon.

Greenlee heads to the mineshaft looking for her hole that she fell in last year. Kendall finds her and asks what she's doing there and Greenlee joyfully tells Kendall she can help her. Kendall asks her what she needs help with and Greenlee tells her she needs help being shoved back into the hole. Greenlee comes too and covers with Kendall. Kendall heads to her point of destination, which is the crash site where Miranda "died". She goes there to say goodbye and to let her go.

Kendall stops by the Chandler Mansion to visit JR and notices that he got a letter from Babe too. She tells him that Bianca got one too. JR makes a face as he begins to read the letter and Kendall asks what's up. Kendall makes up stuff to be funny and JR is clearly distraught but makes an excuse that it's just the same drivel. JR is distracted and Kendall asks if he is upset that Babe's gone. She tells him that Bianca was born to be a mother but Babe was born to be on bars. JR tells Kendall; as much as he appreciates her late visit he and "Bess" need some sleep. Kendall asks him for a favor that is more for her sister than her. She asks if he will let Bianca see "Bess" every once in awhile. She makes her pitch and JR balks that Bianca kidnapped his daughter. She wonders what Miranda would have looked like if she lived. Uneasy he tells Kendall he'll think about it. He thanks Kendall for being his friend. Kendall leaves JR alone with "Bess" and the letter. He reads the letter from Babe and she tells him there was a reason why she wanted to call "their" baby Bess Miranda and it's because "Bess" is really Miranda. Babe tells him everything about the crash and that it was their son who died in the crash and that it was Paul Kramer who switched the babies and gave them Miranda. JR cries and is knocked over by the letter where Babe tells her that Bianca got a letter too and that the next time he sees her she will be coming for her daughter. The doorbell rings and the guard answers it telling JR that a woman is at the door. He tells the guard to let her in and Bianca walks into the living room.

November 3, 2004 ~ Wednesday ~ One Life To Live

Babe and Jamie take off as Karen, Ace's nanny is snoozing from the sleeping pills Jamie slipped her. Renee stops by to drop off Ace's favorite elephant that she found downstairs and becomes alarmed when she hears Ace but Karen doesn't respond. Babe answers trying to disguise her voice and Renee becomes alarmed there is something wrong. As she tries to get into the hotel room as an employee at the hotel rushes to her with news of a water pipe bursting so Renee rushes off with him. Jamie hurry's Babe up and the two leave before the nanny wakes up or someone else comes by.

Kevin keeps getting interrupted when he tries to go back to the hotel room to see Ace. Everyone wants to congratulate the new Lt. Governor Kevin Buchanan. Renee seeks Kevin out when her emergency is taken care of and he tells her he'd love to talk to her but he wants to see Ace. Renee tells him good because she thinks something is going on upstairs and explains her encounter or lack of encounter with Karen. He rushes to the 10th floor hotel room. Karen is asleep and he tells Renee everything's fine. Renee leaves but Kevin quickly discovers everything isn't fine when he discovers Ace missing from his crib and he's unable to wake Karen.

Paul Kramer is missing and everyone has noticed. David gets rid of Dorian's gun that she put in the safe the other night when she was out mysteriously alone and packing the pistol.

November 3, 2004 ~ Wednesday

Bianca goes to Maggie's to check on her since talking to Babe. Bianca asks if Maggie knows that Jamie and Babe are leaving and she tells her yes. Jonathan watches as Bianca and Maggie embrace. He tries to insinuate himself between the two women and takes his leave when it doesn't work. He goes for ice cream. Bianca explains that Babe and Jamie are planning on taking Bess with them. Maggie asks if Bianca will be okay with that and she tells her that Babe promised that she will get to see Bess go to her first day of school. Maggie questions how she can make such a promise and Bianca tells her that she feels in her heart that it will be true. Jonathan comes back and almost immediately gets into a row with Bianca over Ethan and Jonathan forcing her to take her leave. Maggie bids her friend goodbye and Jonathan snuggles with her giving her comfort. Jonathan quickly turns the conversation to Bianca and then insinuates that Bianca is hurting Maggie. Mags becomes defensive and lashes out at him. He then turns on Maggie asking her if she's stupid and Maggie tries to throw him out of her apartment. He then blames Bianca for their fighting and Maggie strikes back that how can he possible blame Bianca for this and he then tells her he walked in when they were hugging and asks Maggie if that's really what she wants to be?

David and Krystal frantically search for Babe and Jamie in Llandview. David believes that Babe is going to snatch Ace and take off. Tad is not far behind the parents and confronts Krystal with what is really going on. He is convinced that Krystal was about to tell him everything before David showed up with his gun. Krystal forces Tad to back down and takes off looking for her baby doll. Jamie and Babe put their plan in motion with a drugged glass of champagne for the Nanny. As Jamie gets the Nanny to accept his glass of champagne while dressed as a young campaigner. Outside Krystal finds Babe and tries to convince her not to go through with her plan. Babe explains it's too late and tells Krystal about the letters she's sent to everyone. She asks Krystal to let her go. Meanwhile David runs into Tad while looking for Babe and Jamie and having had enough of Tad's antics whacks him unconscience with a suitcase. Back in the hotel suite the Nanny falls asleep from the laced champagne Jamie gives her. Jamie goes in search of Babe and discovers her with Krystal. Krystal tells him that he better just take care of her baby and Babe and Krystal say goodbye.

Kendall runs into Erica at Bianca's apartment. While they wait Kendall and Erica try to make strides in their relationship. Everything goes well until Kendall tells Erica that Ethan has been rearrested for shooting Ryan and Erica expresses her happiness at the news. Kendall defends him telling her mother that he's innocent. The two women are at an impass when Bianca arrives home to discover her family waiting for her. She tells them she needs them now more than ever and that they should become the family they are meant to be. Erica agrees and Kendall tells her sister she lives in the real world. Bianca tells Kendall that she just needs hope and hasn't had any since Miranda died so she's going to help Kendall deal with losing Miranda too. Kendall balks at the suggestion and Erica chimes in that she and Bianca have discussed it and now it's time for Kendall to deal with Miranda's death and she's going to help her.

November 2, 2004 ~ Tuesday

Bianca stops by David's cabin to see Babe. Bianca tells Babe about her visit with JR and questions Babe as to why she's running off with Jamie. Babe explains she wants a new beginning. Bianca tries to get Babe to see what she's doing by abandoning Bess. Babe explains it's all going to work out and JR is going to get exactly what he deserves. Bianca doesn't understand and tells her friend she's acting like she committed murder and Babe responds more like a hit and run. Unbeknownst to Bianca she is holding the letter Babe wrote her explaining everything. Babe explains that she didn't do the right thing and Bianca becomes confused. Bianca asks Babe when she is going to let her in on her secret. She tells her that she knows there were numerous times she wanted to tell her before but didn't. Bianca wants to know what she did to Babe and Babe tells her nothing. Bianca tells her she's like her sister. Babe tells Bianca she's trying to protect her baby and that tomorrow maybe sooner there will be no more secrets and no more lies. Bianca blurts out that she knows what Babe is going to do that she's going to kidnap Bess. Bianca is happy that Bess is getting her baby back but totally understands. Bianca express her sadness at not see Bess again and Babe tells her that she'll see Bess and that no one can keep Bianca from Bess again. Bianca hugs her friend and tells her she won't share her secret. Babe tells Bianca she's going to get her miracle. The two women hug. Bianca is relieved that Babe has a plan for JR. Bianca offers Babe money for her flight. Babe turns her down and tells her how amazing she is and how great she's been to her. Bianca returns the complements and thanks her for accepting her. They exchange I Love You's and Babe tells her that she never meant to hurt her or cause her a second of pain. Bianca tells Babe she's never hurt her. Bianca asks Babe to call her when she's safe and she'll visit. The two hug once more. Babe tells Bianca to be happy and with one last hug Bianca leaves. Babe express that Bianca will have Miranda.

Maggie stops by Fusion to visit Jonathan. Jonathan asks for some work advice on an ad campaign and Maggie gives her two cents and tries to get Jonathan to cut out of work. Jonathan tells Maggie that he padded his resume and that he flunked out of college so he must prove his worth. They talk about Bianca and the shirt and Maggie tells him it doesn't matter anymore and Jonathan asks if she and Bianca are over. She tells him that they were never more than friends and that their friendship has tanked. Maggie tells Jonathan she's taking a break from her Chemistry assignment and the two decided to take the evening off and spend it together.

David waits in the dark for Jamie at his apartment. When Jamie turns on the light he finds him there and David tells him that he is not running off with Babe. David explains why Babe and Jamie running off is insane. Jamie pleads his case and tells him that David can't stop them. Jamie tells David that he knows that Krystal doctor the tests and then asks David why he didn't check out Paul Kramer.

Maggie and Jonathan go to the apartment and find David and Jamie in a deep conversation. David tells Maggie to stop Jamie from going off half cocked. Maggie asks Jonathan for a second to talk to Jamie. Jamie lashes out at Maggie because he thinks she's now going to attack him for leaving town with Babe. Maggie's concerned that Jamie is making a mistake leaving with Babe. She begs him to stay. Jamie tells Maggie that it was his idea to leave town. Jamie asks Maggie to remember that Babe never meant to hurt anyone. Confused Maggie pleads with Jamie not to go but he leaves anyway. Maggie is sadden with Jamie's departure. Maggie is upset that she's lost Bianca and Jamie but Jonathan tells her he's there for her and she's happy he didn't leave. There is a knock at the door and Maggie answers it…it's Bianca.

Tad traps Krystal in a net at his house and tells her that she'll be free only if she tells the truth. Tad mixes martini's and begins his questioning of Krystal. He tells her of the romance thing Babe and Jamie are pulling. Tad asks Krystal what they are hiding because he's sure she knows. Tad goes over all the information about the situation with Jamie and Babe and Tad tells her that their children are into something too big for them and that he's scared for them. He asks Krystal for the truth. Krystal tells Tad she wants to spend the rest of her life with him. He asks her to trust him. Tad tells her he loves her and if Babe can trust Jamie that Krystal can trust him. Krystal tells him that the trusting nature changes with age. Tad tells her he can be trusted. Krystal tells him sometimes a person does something unforgivable. Tad tells her that she won't regret telling him and that he will always be there for her. The two kiss and their kiss is interrupted by a slamming door. David points a gun at Tad. He threatens to shoot Tad if he doesn't let Krystal go. David threatens Tad again for messing with his family. Tad tells him Krystal isn't his family. David comes back with Krystal is the mother of his child. Tad pleads with Krystal one more time to tell him the truth. David tells Krystal to come with him and she does.

Krystal and David arrive at the Cabin and discover Babe isn't there. David realizes what Babe and Jamie are up to and take off after them. Tad comes out of the bushes after they leave. Babe and Jamie are in a car headed for Llandview and Jamie tells her that she'll have her son back and Babe tells him that her letters are set to be delivered tonight so everything will be better tomorrow.

Ryan visits Ethan at the jail with a deal. He will help him get a lesser sentence if he just admits he shot him. He doesn't like all the stress Greenlee is under. Ethan tells him he didn't do it and Ryan brings up Kendall. Ethan defends Kendall and tells Ryan that he never could have really love her. He tells Ethan that whoever shot him waited until Kendall pointed the gun at him and that perhaps he and Kendall had nothing to do with his shooting. Ryan tells him that whoever it was who shot him will pay dearly. Later Kendall visits Ethan at the jail.

Kendall stops by the Lavery Penthouse looking for Ryan and finds an unresponsive Greenlee with eyes wide open lying on the sofa. She can't get her to come around and yells at her to snap out of it. A disoriented Greenlee accuses Kendall of breaking in to the apartment. Greenlee becomes combative and drinks some water. Kendall tries to talk to Greenlee about Ethan and tells Greenlee that she's going to leave a note for Ryan. Greenlee heads to the balcony and stands on a chair. Kendall watches and becomes alarmed at what she sees. Concerned Kendall gets Greenlee off the chair. Greenlee covers that she's okay and Kendall tells her that she's just concerned. Greenlee ushers Kendall out the door and immediately places a phone call to Maria who isn't available. Greenlee leaves no message. Greenlee is overly excited when Ryan arrives home. She feels safe.

November 1, 2004 ~ Monday

Tad and David are leaving David's cabin when the stop Babe and Jamie who are arriving. They ask their children what they are up to and Jamie explains that he and Babe are leaving town. Tad tells them they do not have to run because David and he took care of everything so there is no threat to them. David ushers them inside to discuss their lack of enthusiasm over the news that Adam was neutralized. Inside Jamie explains they are in love and leaving town anyway. Just as the two kiss Brooke arrives to congratulate Tad and David for their good work and is upset at see Jamie and Babe kissing. Tad and Brooke convince Jamie into coming home so they can talk. David and Babe talk about her relationship with Jamie. David just wants to understand why she has such horrible taste in men. She lashes out at him that maybe it was because she had no father figure. She realizes that she was being mean to David and apologizes. She continues to give Jamie's virtues. Babe tells him that Jamie's taking care of the whole Paul situation. David's not sure what that means. Babe tells David that Jamie is on their side.

Back at Tad's the Martins discuss the lies that are compelling Jamie to run off with Babe. Tad knows it has to do with whatever caused Krystal not to marry him. Brooke tells Tad she's sorry she didn't know and Tad shuns the topic for the truth. He tries to reason with Jamie to trust him and tell him everything. Jamie tries to explain his love for Babe to his parents. Unbeknownst to his parents Jamie is saying goodbye. Tad feels as though something else is going on. Brooke plays devils advocate. Tad explains what he's feeling about what just went down.

Bobby admonishes Greenlee for diming him out with Anita. Greenlee tells him he is responsible for what happened and no one else. She starts to hallucinate and she thinks Bobby's got friends after her. She goes to leave and see that the elevator is missing but sees an orderly get on the elevator she saw as missing. Greenlee panics and wonders what is wrong with her.

Bobby goes in search of Anita only to find her in the supply closet with Aidan. Aidan excuses himself and Bobby lashes out at Anita over Aidan and she slaps him. Bobby tells her she's a hypocrite with all of the time she is spending with Aidan and Anita volleys back with the point that no one paid her to seduce someone. She also throws in the fact that he let her believe in this happy little existence with the new house and it was all a lie.

Aidan comes across a shaky and disturbed Greenlee and offers her aid.

Babe goes to JR with a deal to get him to share custody with Babe. She offers chandler enterprises. She will talk to Ryan about giving Chandler back to Adam and JR and he shares custody. He can't believe that Bianca is still siding with Babe. He reminds her they used to be friends and she responds that he isn't the same person he was then, that he has become Adam. She adds that there was a reason Liza took Colby away and it was so she wouldn't be corrupted in the Chandler house. She also reminds her former friend that he once left so he wouldn't be corrupted. JR asks Bianca if Babe was so interested in him and their child then why did she sleep with his brother and best friend the first day she was in town and why is she leaving with Jamie now. He tells her of the money that Jamie and Babe asked for so they could leave town. Bianca doesn't believe him. He tells her that Babe left of her daughter behind. JR wants to be friends and Bianca turns down his offer of friendship explaining that no matter what Babe did or didn't do he became the mean and vindictive person he is on his own.

Ethan tells Zach he wants no help from him. Olivia arrives to help her client and Zach tells Ethan he will have a New York big wig come to take over to which Kendall tells Zach that Olivia's the best. Olivia takes charge and gets in Zach's face telling him Ethan is her client not him so he needs to get out of her way. Kendall and Ethan share some tender moments in the interrogation room reminiscing on their night of passion. Zach and Olivia spar and Olivia makes sure he understands his position. Kendall tries to get Ethan to understand that she believes him that he didn't shoot Lavery.

Jamie turns on the light and finds David in a chair waiting for him. David tells him they need to talk. Babe reads back the letter she wrote to Bianca explaining that Bess is really Miranda. Babe is relieved that Bianca is finally going to know the truth and as she finishes reading the letter Bianca comes in.

October 28 & 29, 2004 ~ Thursday and Friday

Babe and Jamie continue their plans for stealing Ace and running off to live the life of Brad and Kate Anderson. They stop by the hospital to see Grampa Joe and Jamie asks him for advice and assistance. Babe and Jamie mack on each other to keep up the pretenses that they are leaving together because they are in love. While Jamie is with Joe, Babe heads to the nursery to wait for him and find Greenlee watching the babies. Greenlee had Anita run a blood test to see if she pregnant and is waiting for the results. Babe and Greens start up a conversation and talk about how great babies are. Greenlee shares her fright that she will botch up being a mom and Babe tells her not to worry because once you look into the child's eyes it all comes together. In the course of conversation Babe divulges that JR is keeping "Bess" away from her and that he has full custody. Greenlee is upset by the news but Babe tells her it's okay because it will all work out and she'll be with her baby. Babe goes to see if Jamie is ready to leave. Jamie and Babe head to the Chandler mansion to see JR for money so they can skip town. They kiss in front of him and express they are in love. JR tries to get his brother to dump Babe but Jamie isn't going too. He asks JR for money because the two want to leave town and start a life together. JR asks to speak to Jamie alone and Babe asks if she can say goodbye to "Bess". JR agrees but only with the guard present. Babe gets a few minutes with "Bess" and JR and Jamie try to hash out their complicated problems. Jamie reminds JR that his father is blackmailing him and is willing to send him back to prison if Tad doesn't tell him where Liza is. JR tells him that is his father's stuff. Jamie also accuses JR that he has become not a man of his own but a clone of Adam. He also points out that his brother wouldn't be doing this and reminds him that the first time JR set him up and he was sent to jail he almost died! JR is moved enough to agree to the money but tries in vain to get Jamie to dump Babe. Babe must say goodbye once more to "Bess".

Aidan tracks down the guy from the fake video that Adam had made and he works at PVH. He gets Anita to lure the guy to the park and there he renders him unconscience. Anita is impressed and amazed. Tad is at the mansion posing as a security guard so he can look for the DVD's that Adam is using to blackmail him and ruin Jamie. Tad hides behind a sofa when someone walks in and it is Stuart dressed in a suit. Stuart explains that Marian makes him where it when she has realtor luncheons. Tad quickly formulates a plan and asks for Stuart's help but he will have to pretend to be Adam. Stuart agrees and gets the guard to get Alfred Vander Pool from the back to come over with Adam's safety deposit box. Stuart knows where the key is so the plan quickly comes together. Tad hides outside when Alfred arrives and cringes when Stuart's signature on the bank card doesn't match Adam's. Stuart makes a great scene and Alfred apologizes for questioning Mr. Chandler. Stuart has Alfred wait 15 minutes and he and Tad clear the box of the doctored DVD's. Tad his tremendously excited by the fact that Jamie is safe. He gets a call from Aidan on his cell phone and heads off to meet him passing Alfred on the way out who thinks he recognizes him. Stuart posing as Adam quashes that silly notion and sends Alfred on his way. Adam arrives home an is wearing a similar suit which works out that no one knows that Stuart pulled the switcheroo.

Zach still brooding over his lost love gets a visit from Bobby Warner and Zach tells him he wants this house gone it has too many memories. Bobby agrees to take care of it for him and Zach gives Bobby a promotion. Bobby is excited so he rushes back to Pine Valley to tell Anita.

Ryan goes to the Pine Cone to talk to Ethan about Zach. Their he finds Kendall and Ethan in stages of disrobement. He presses Ethan to do a DNA test of his own and he will help him. Ethan asks why he'd help him and Ryan tells him in the spirit of fair play. Ethan tells him that it doesn't matter because he's resigned to leave Pine Valley. Ryan feels if this is the case he will need some funds for the trip and gives Ethan a sizable check that Ethan turns down. Ryan wishes him well and leaves. Kendall and Ethan begin to make love again when there is another knock at the door. This time it is the police and they've come to arrest Ethan. When Ethan asks for what the lieutenant tells him for the shooting of Ryan Lavery. Trying to explain he was cleared the cops aren't listening. Kendall quickly dresses after the police take Ethan away and goes in search of Zach. She finds him an begs him to help Ethan even if he's not his father and Zach agrees to aid the lad. The two head to the police station.

Simone is having police troubles of her own when her car "Lola" is booted and ticketed. The policeman checks out her ticket and discovers she has 23 unpaid parking tickets and "Lola" will remain in the pound until she pays them. While pleading her case she see Ethan being interrogated. Kendall arrives with Zach in tow.

While Greenlee waits in the nursery for her test results Ryan surprises her and the two talk about being parents. Greens tells him it will be okay and a nurse arrives with the results of her pregnancy test. Unable to read the results herself she has Ryan read them. He tells her that she's not pregnant and that they can continue to try. Greenlee become extremely concerned that something is wrong with her. Ryan gets an emergency call to come back to the office and he tells his bride he hates to leave her alone but she insists that he go. Greenlee goes to the nurses station to wait for Maria and finds Anita has come back. She tells her that the results were negative. Greenlee then blurts out that Kendall paid Bobby to sleep with her. Greens realizes what she said and tries to take it back. Maria comes over and Greenlee tells her that she keeps blurting out things she doesn't mean to say. Bobby comes to visit Anita at the hospital with get great news that Zach is taking off and he's giving him a promotion! Maria is distressed about Zach leaving and that her sister got some awful news from Greenlee about Bobby's deception Greenlee is distracted with the fact that she's losing her mind. Maria agrees to run some tests and tells her not to worry. The two women watch as Bobby learns that Greenlee tells told Anita everything. Anita confronts him with his lies and she takes off for the supply closet. Bobby confronts Greenlee about telling Anita what happened with Kendall and Greenlee tries to explain about her "problem".

Aidan and Tad take Adam's witness to David's cabin and they scare him into recanting what he said and to leave town. David pretends to be the mad scientist and they scare him sufficiently. When all is done Aidan heads back to the hospital to thank Anita for her help and finds her crumpled on the floor of the supply closet. He holds her.

As Tad is leaving he tells David that he never thought that they would make a great team ever but that theory was proved wrong where their children are involved. Jamie and Babe run into their fathers as they head back to the Cabin. Both fathers wonder what's going on with their children.

October 27, 2004 ~ Wednesday

Maria is confronted with Edmund wanting her to leave. He asks if the other day when she got the emergency call was it Zach. She tells him yes it was and Edmund becomes angry. He wants her to get out of the house. He confronts her with what Erica told him about Zach and Maria embracing at the cemetery. She becomes angry that Erica was in her business and Edmund is more agitated. He tells her that he and the children did fine without her and they'll be fine now. He then makes a comment about how she and Zach can go back to the days when she just stayed away from Edmund and the children. Maria becomes angry with Edmund and reminds him that she didn't know about him and the children then and that it wasn't fair to blame her for not coming home. He still wants her gone. Maria tells him that she's not going any where. She's staying for the children and for their marriage. Just because he can easily give their marriage up doesn't mean she will!

Krystal tells David that Babe told Jamie everything. David is enraged that Babe would take such a chance and with a MARTIN! He then sets about his plan for Paul Kramer. He shows Krystal the paper he had drawn up and he is going to force Paul to sign it. Krystal asks how he's going to accomplish that and he tells her he's got it under control. He takes a lock box out and sneaks a gun into his pocket but Krystal wants to know what he's got hidden in his jacket. She's not happy when she discovers the gun. David explains it's just to scare Kramer into signing it. The two talk about it and David heads off for Llandview.

Jamie and Babe work on their back story as Brad and Kate Anderson. They make up a story and enjoy the role playing as husband and wife. Jamie gives Babe her fake ID as Kate Anderson. Babe heads back to David's cabin and finds Krystal. Krystal gets the feeling that Babe and Jamie are up to something but Babe covers and tells her that he's just been wonderful. But really Jamie and Babe had discussed how to kidnap Ace. Jamie plans the event for election night as the best opportunity.

Ryan and Greenlee discuss the fact that she might be pregnant. It would explain her erratic behavior. Each talks about how they would be as a parent. Greenlee tells her husband that Mary Smythe wasn't exactly a great roll model. He tells her that his dad wasn't any better. Greenlee decides to use Maria Grey as her roll model. Professional Mom and loving wife. Jonathan enters the room as the two discuss the possible baby and he freaks out. Ryan confronts his brother about his attitude and Jonathan covers saying it was just the initial shock. He goes to the kitchen and gets Greenlee a milk and Ryan a beer. They toast the possible new arrival. After Jonathan's gone Greenlee asks Ryan what will happen if she's not pregnant. What could be wrong with her then?

Zach has flash backs to when he and Maria were together and longs for his lost love.

October 26, 2004 ~ Tuesday

Maria comforts Zach after he tells her that he told Ethan he wasn't his son. Maria is shocked that Zach would choose a life with out his son. He tells her he must protect Ethan and if that means having him think he's not his son than so be it. Maria doesn't get it at first but then the two talk some more and Maria comes to Zach's understanding. Maria explains to Zach that they can't see each other anymore. She must be with her family and that is Edmund and the children. Zach understands and lets her go but not before leaving her with one last kiss. Zach tells Maria he's leaving town and out of her life.

Jackson comes home to a drunk Lily who is trying to make more of her "Friendship Shake". Jack calls Lily's principle and she agrees to come to his house. Lily gets sick from the alcohol. When Lily's principle arrives Jackson explains that Autumn, China and Chantal have been using Lily and that they have her the alcohol laced milkshake. Lily confirms this when asked. The Principle gets a phone call from school. They performed a locker check and they did find alcohol but it was in Lily's locker. She then asks Jackson where he keeps his liquor. He can't believe what's happening. The Principle suggests that perhaps Lily isn't ready for mainstreaming. Jack becomes angry and bids the Principle goodbye. Erica comes in the apartment and tells Jack she just ran into the woman in the hall. Jack explains the entire situation and is not sure what to do next. Erica lends a hand. Lily goes to bed early.

Ethan and Kendall go back to the Pine Cone Motel where Ethan's staying and discuss all that happened with Zach's revelation that he's Alex Cambias and the fact he says he's not Ethan's father. Kendall suggest that Ethan get another DNA Test but Ethan just wants to leave town. He wonders why his mother told him that Alex was his father if he wasn't. Kendall and Ethan discuss his mum and what she wanted in life and for him. The two become close. Kendall tells Ethan she's about to do something because she wants to not because of other reasons and she kisses him. The two wind up in a passionate embrace on the bed.

Edmund waits at Wildwind for Maria to return but gets a visit from Erica instead. She wants Edmund to do a piece on Zach Slater aka Alexander Cambias, Jr. in Tempo magazine. Edmund thinks to himself that Maria must have known all along that Zach was Alexander but lied to him. He become upset but listens to Erica who tells him that perhaps Maria can be of assistance. Edmund queries why Maria would be able to help and Erica explains she found the two in an embrace just the other day. Edmund gets more upset but hides it from Erica. He tells her he's not going to do the article she wishes and Erica leaves. Later when Maria arrives home she finds suitcases at the step. When Maria questions Edmund as to what the suitcases are for since it's too early for the ski trip with the children Edmund tells her that they are hers. He wants her to get out and their marriage is over. Maria is shocked.

Greenlee gets angry at Ryan and then comes to her senses. She lets her husband know that she's been doing strange things and she thinks there is something wrong with her. Ryan brushes it off until she tells him she answered the door naked when Kendall, Bianca and Ethan came over. Ryan becomes concerned. He looks up her symptoms and tells her that he thinks he knows what's up. He believes her symptoms are the same as those of pregnant woman. Edmund makes an appointment with Maria just in case. Greenlee is temporarily relieved.


October 25, 2004 ~ Monday

At Ryan's penthouse those assembled deal with the bombshell that Zach delivered that he is really Alexander Cambias, Jr. Bianca is shocked and Ethan immediately demands to know if he is Zach's son. Everyone badgers Zach for answers. Zach explains that he had to get away from the Cambias curse and Michael helped him. And he tells them that Michael became an evil man just like Alexander. He apologizes to Bianca again for what Michael became. Ryan wonders why Zach kept quiet. He explains that he did come to Pine Valley thinking that their was more to Michael's murder and that he felt that Bianca didn't kill his brother. He knew Michael as a sweet kid and that it was difficult to understand or deal with the fact that Michael was a bad man. Ryan makes comment that Zach is after the Cambias fortune. Zach reminds him that he is a Cambias and not Ryan. He also makes comment that perhaps Ryan will get everything he deserves since making a pact with an evil man in the desert. Ryan jabs at Zach once more and Zach tells the crowd that he made his own fortune and developed his own power. Ethan tells him that still leaves him...he demands to know if he is Zach's son. Zach gives him the DNA results and tells him that he is not his father. Ethan wonders how he got his DNA and Zach explains that the night of the Murder Mystery Zach took the glass that Ethan was drinking out of and had it tested. Kendall tells Ethan they will have their own test done to confirm or refute Zach's test. Erica demand that now that Ethan knows the truth and Zach has made his great play that they both leave Pine Valley forever. Jackson chimes in with the fact that Zach has broken many laws with his little faked death and that he should consider leaving. Jonathan wants all the frauds to leave. Ryan hushes his brother. For now Ryan still is in control of Cambias.

Krystal comes across Babe and Jamie at the destroyed church and Babe tells her mama that all was okay. She explains that Jamie knows everything. Jamie tells Krystal that he put the pieces together and Babe filled in the blanks. He assures Krystal that everything is going to be okay and that he promises that JR will never get Babe's son. He doesn't want JR making Babe's baby Adam the Third. Krystal tells Jamie she wishes that Ace's daddy could have been Jamie. Jamie leaves the two women alone to talk and heads home. Krystal is uneasy with the fact that Jamie knows everything. Babe tells Krystal that Jamie still wanted to help her even after he discovered that she knew that Bess was really Miranda. She tells her Mama that Jamie can be trusted. Krystal asks Babe if she took $10,000 from JR's safe. She tells Babe to give it back and she'll give it to JR. Babe suspects Jamie took it but doesn't say anything. She tells Krystal that she doesn't have it and doesn't know where it might be.

At home Jamie tries to use Tad's computer but discovers he has put an encryption on it and he can't get the information that he needs. As he's muttering to himself Aidan comes in and asks the lad what he's up to. Jamie asks Aidan for help. He explains the situation with JR and Adam and that Tad is being blackmailed by Adam. He tells Aidan he wants a back up plan so that if he needs to take off for awhile he will need to disappear so that he's out of the equation and both Tad and Liza are safe. Aidan agrees to have short term memory loss and gives Jamie the name and address of a contact that can make him some fake ID Jamie thanks Aidan for his help.

October 23, 2004 ~ Friday

Bianca, Ethan and Kendall show up at the Lavery's Penthouse and Greenlee answers the door naked. Ethan avoids looking at Greenlee while Kendall can't hold back the wise cracks. Greenlee is unaware she is naked until Kendall informs her. Embarrassed Greenlee rushes off and the three let themselves in. Ethan immediately gets heat from Jonathan but Bianca wishes a word with the young Lavery. Bianca listens a half second while Jonathan goes on about Ethan and Bianca shuts him up with the news she knows about him stealing her shirt. She's willing to cut him some slack because he was upset about Ryan but puts him on warning that she's not this waif that is going to be the victim for anyone. Oh and if he ever illicit Maggie into lying and covering for him again he'll have to answer to her! Jonathan gets his sister-in-law some coffee and the two wait for Ryan.

Zach heads to the steam room before the big meeting on to discover he isn't alone. Ryan is waiting for Mr. Slater or is it Mr. Cambias. Zach doesn't give anything up because he'll explain everything at the meeting at Ryan's Penthouse. Ryan tells him that he's leery about spending anytime at something Zach arrange since the last time he was given a bullet for his trouble. Zach declares once and for all he had nothing to do with Ryan's being shot. Ryan leaves Zach to the steam and heads back to his penthouse. Greenlee who has been odd all day is happy to see her husband in one piece after seeing Zach Slater.

Jack and Lily argue over her choice in clothing. Lily refuses to change her "Hot Chick" duds for more appropriate wear. Erica stops by in the nick of time and having over heard the rutguss puts her two cents in. She tries to explain to Lily about dressing the way she is and uses advertising in a magazine as comparison. She explains the sexual implications of dressing provocatively like she has been dressing and Lily begins to understand and changes her cloths. Jackson is relieved and thanks Erica for helping him. Lily bounds off to school happy and Jackson and Erica head to Ryan's for the big meeting. Jackson realizes that Erica knows more than she's telling about this meeting.

Zach arrives at Ryan's penthouse with Erica and Jackson following shortly behind. When the group is entirely together Zach explains that he knew Michael as a different person then they did. Erica having had enough of hearing of Michael Cambias' virtues lashes out that he was an evil, sadistic, malicious rapist. Zach explains that he now knows that but it was hard for him to think that Michael became this man that was all of those things. Zach goes to Bianca and choking back tears tells her he's sorry for what happened and what Michael became. He tells her all of the things that Michael did for him and the reason he do them for him was because he was his brother, he is Alexander Cambias Jr. Ethan demands to know if he is Zach's son!

Jamie and Babe talk about everything now that Jamie knows the whole story. She tells him that she can't let JR get her son and that Miranda needs to be with Bianca. Jamie points out that JR doesn't know about Ace and that is a good thing. He tells her about the money he has procured and that he can get more. He suggest that they tell Bianca the truth and take off with Ace. Babe isn't sure at first but with some convincing she agrees to the plan. Meanwhile at the Chandler Mansion Krystal goes off on JR thinking he did something to Babe. He showers her with insults about Babe and tells her to leave. She tells him she's not going anywhere until he tells her where Babe is? He tells her he doesn't know where Babe is but he's missing $10,000 dollars from his safe. The two get into a heat argument where Krystal slips by telling JR that he will never get "him". JR reminds Krystal that "Bess" is a girl and mocks her. Winifred comes into the living room with "Bess" and he plays it up by kissing her and hugging her. Krystal wants to reach out to "Bess" but she leaves instead.


October 21, 2004 ~ Thursday

Bianca goes to Tad's to thank him for running the DNA test and for thinking for a second that Bess could be Miranda. She tells him she's unpacking and moving on with her life. He offers her help at the apartment and she tells him she'll keep him in mind.

Brooke holds Adam at gun point and Adam jokes with her. Mary comes into Adam's bedroom looking for a midnight romp when she sees Brooke with the gun and freaks out. Adam tells her not to worry and to calm down. Brooke makes a joke that maybe she'll take Mary out too. Mary rushes downstairs to JR. JR and Kendall share a kiss that is interrupted by Mary telling him Brooke is in Adam's room with a gun. JR rushes upstairs. Tad comes to the mansion in search of Brooke thinking she was doing something bad. Adam tells Mary and JR to leave he's fine. Brooke demands the Master Video and Adam hands her a disc. Tad comments that Adam didn't give her the one she's looking for. Brooke and Tad leave empty handed with Adam gloating all the way or so Adam thinks. He wants Brooke to get Tad to tell him where Colby is and everything will be fine. Back at Tad's Brooke explains she was there to get a copy of the DVD so that they could get a picture of the guy who framed Jamie and Babe. Tad starts to remember something but can't quite get to the root but something is plaguing his brain.

A drunk Ethan shows up at Zach's Condo and pounds on the door yelling for Slater to tell him the truth. Zach sees Ethan and decides to leave instead of having a confrontation. Kendall arrives home and sees a drunk Ethan on the ground in front of Zach condo and takes him into her place. She tells him he can sleep it off at her place. Kendall worries about Ethan and what the latest information about Zach perhaps being Alex is doing to him.

Bianca heads back to her apartment and finishes unpacking. She hears Miranda crying and wonders why her daughter won't let her go. At the Chandler Mansion JR soothes a crying Bess. Bianca is distracted by a knock at the door. It is Zach and he's upset. Bianca asks him if what she's heard is true, is he Alexander Cambias, Jr? He tells her he'll reveal the truth to everyone tomorrow.

Jamie helps Babe with Paul and the two leave Llandview. They end up at Babe's little church and she prays for God to help her keep her baby safe. Jamie asks what is going on and Babe starts to come clean. She is shocked when she realizes that Jamie already knows the truth. She tells him everything. He asks when she first discovered the truth about Bess. She tells him of the dreams and not understanding at first because she knew that she gave birth to a boy but when she spoke to Krystal she explained Babe was confused. She then tells him about Krystal's guilt about changing the DNA test and that she followed her mama to the crash site and the memories came flooding back. Jamie tells Babe she's going to stand by her and he tells her that he suggest that they kidnap Ace and run away.


October 20, 2004 ~ Wednesday

Brooke visits Tad and he shares Adam's latest scheme with her and shows her the video. She asks why Adam would try to frame their son and Tad tells her that it's because Adam thinks that he knows where Liza is but he doesn't. Brooke now fully understands why Liza took Colby away. Jamie comes home for a brief visit with his parents before rushing off to help Babe. He asks his family to trust him because there is something he needs to do. Tad gets Brooke to trust their son and Jamie leaves. Brooke and Tad try uncover a solution to their situation.

Jamie heads over to the Chandler Mansion and breaks into Adam's safe. He takes an envelope of cash. Adam thinks he's looking for the master DVD. He tries to goat Jamie into a confrontation but Jamie doesn't bite and he leaves the mansion with the money.

JR gets a visit from Kendall who sides with him in the Bess/Babe affair. JR tries to seduce his good friend and Kendall holds back. Meanwhile upstairs Adam is woke from a sound sleep by Brooke. When he doesn't get up right away she cocks the hammer of the gun and this gets Adam's attention.

Babe heads to Llandview to see Kevin Buchanan. When she finds him at campaign headquarters he's distracted and tells her he doesn't have time for a play date today. She tries to tell him her tale of woe with JR but he blows her off and she becomes upset. She heads to the bar for a drink when who happens along but her ex-husband and source of all trauma Paul Kramer. An intoxicated Paul baits Babe and she snaps at him. She then tells him she knows that he gave her son to Kelly and that the baby she thought was hers is actually Miranda Montgomery. He tells her that he could care less. He explains that if she tries to blame it on him he'll bury her and no one will believe her because she's a known liar. He tells her he'll claim she was blackmailing him over the annulment. Babe become upset with Paul and lunges at him tell him she's going to kill him. Just then Jamie shows up and stops Paul from hurting Babe.

Bianca stops by Kendall's condo to ask for help. She wants her sister to try and talk some sense into JR and get Babe and Bess reunited. Kendall tells her sister that she will not help her. Bianca is lost as to why her sister feels this way and Kendall eventually tells her that she doesn't like Babe and doesn't trust her. She hesitantly tells Binx about the day of the christening that she thought Bess was actually Miranda but that Tad had told them all he had run a DNA test on Bess and she was not Miranda. Bianca questions why she didn't know any of this and Kendall was explains she only wanted to protect her. Bianca thanks her sister for caring and asks again if she will help her help Babe and again Kendall declines. Before Bianca leaves she asks Kendall why she would question if Bess was Miranda in the first place and she tells her she heard Babe call her Miranda. Kendall explains that when she confronted her she told her that it was only because Miranda is Bess' middle name.


October 19, 2004 ~ Tuesday

Ethan and Kendall head over to Erica's Penthouse to tangle with Zach Slater. When they arrive instead of asking Zach straight out if he's Alex he instead plays along with the group about leaving town. He tells them he's thinking of taking up some of the offers for money and just leave behind this mess that is Pine Valley. Erica extends an offer of her own all the while Kendall observes the unfoldings. Ethan tells them no one wanted him there anyway. Erica reminds him that her daughters have been his staunch allies to which he agrees but there the list ends. Just as Ethan is about to leave he turns to Zach and says see ya Dad. Everyone is a gasp. Ethan explains Ryan's theory and how much it makes sense. Erica states how she thought not moments ago he reminded her of Michael. Zach has some explaining to do. Zach asks why Ethan would believe that Ryan would give up the Cambias fortune. Erica remarks that it could only be that Ryan believes it to be true. He tells them he may or may not be Alexander Cambias Jr. Ethan ask what Zach's so afraid of, and asks him again if he's Alex Cambias? Erica, Kendall and Ethan demand answers from Zach who tells them he doesn't owe them anything and leaves.

While JR is lounging about the mansion Bianca stops by to spend some time with Bess and Babe. JR gloats that the slut is gone. Bianca becomes irked by JR's pompous attitude and tells him she wants to see Bess now. He tells her to get lost and that she's never going to see her again. She continues that she is Bess' Godmother and she has a part in the little girl's life. JR tells her that forget about that because it's an honorary title at best. She tells him that Bess is not property and that is how he's treating her. JR threatens to crush her if she gets in his way. She reminds him that she's Erica Kane's daughter and she's not backing down. She leaves in search of Babe for an explanation.

Adam stops by Tad's to blackmail him into telling him where Liza is with his daughter. He wants Colby back! He tells Tad about the DVD that JR used to blackmail Babe into signing the custody papers and he now wants Tad to realize that Jamie will go to jail if he doesn't tell him what he wants to know. Krystal shows up and tells Tad that the DVD is real and Krystal tells him she needs his help. She explains that David is doing some detective work and Tad makes a face. She says exactly and needs Tad's help so their children don't go to jail. Tad agrees to help Krystal and the kids.

David assures Babe he's going to fix everything and heads out with the lead from his pal Jilly. Bianca stops by the cabin to find out why on earth Babe would sign over custody of Bess to JR. Babe explains the blackmail and that even though it's not true she needed to protect Jamie. She thought what she was doing was right and she's sorry. She apologizes to Bianca for everything. Bianca consoles her friend that its not her fault she lost Miranda to which Babe tells her it is, she wishes she had never called Paul Kramer that none of this would be happening. Bianca reassures her friend everything will be all right.

JR gets a call and just as he's getting ready to leave Adam comes home. He tells his son that Tad isn't caving and that he's stupid. Adam asks JR again if he's still okay with using his brother this way and JR only cares that he get Colby back. JR Leaves and Adam sees Stuart in the living room. Stuart won't even argue with Adam and Stuart leaves without saying a word. David goes in search of his missing link, the homeless guy. When he arrives at the shack the homeless guy walks in but to David's surprise it's JR.


October 18, 2004 ~ Monday

Ethan is shocked by what Greenlee says about Alexander Cambias Jr and Zach Slater being the same person. She tries to cover but it all just keeps coming out. Simone offers to shut her up but it doesn't work. Now Ethan knows what Ryan's suspicions are. Jonathan freaks out on his sister-in-law about her lack of loyalty. She tells him she can't not say what she doesn't want to say and she doesn't know why. Ryan and Kendall discuss things in the elevator. Ryan can't understand why she would take up with Ethan and she explains they have alot in common and he is a nice person. She tells him that she hit rock bottom and that's when she knew she had to accept everything. Ryan's not completely sold and she tells him she doesn't expect him to be but she's telling him the truth. She explains that Ethan just wants to know who he is. When the elevator opens Ryan steps out to the fact that Greenlee has shared his suspicions with Ethan who demands to know the truth. Ryan tells him its just a hunch and that's it. Greenlee is distraught that she's betrayed Ryan and he may lose everything. Ryan tells her that it's not about the money and the important thing is they are together. Ethan calls Zach and he wants to meet with him.

Zach and Erica spare over who is to blame for Ethan remaining in Pine Valley. Zach tells her that it is her daughters who are keeping him here. She tells him don't go there and then he pulls out the Eric Kane card. He talks about her being abandoned by her father and this is really what all this was about. Erica tells him not to presume to understand her or her children. And she has AA and therapy to discuss her father so she doesn't need him playing amateur shrink. She then tells him that she has been in this position before where a man feels he knows what she needs and she tells him there has never been a man who's known what she needed and she can take care of herself. She realizes that Zach reminds her of someone...it's Michael Cambias. Erica wants Zach out of her home but he gets a call from Ethan demanding to see him and tells him to stay at Erica's he is on his way! Zach relays to Erica the news that Ethan is on his way to talk. Erica is not happy.

Bobby and Anita show the family the new house. Palmer drops the bomb that Bobby's investment went belly up and Anita panics and asks if it is true. He tells her yes but not to worry that he got out before that happened. He tells her he got a tip and pulled out so decorate away! Opal and Palmer bicker about his latest houchie mama so Anita asks Opal for decorating advice in the other room. When they are alone Anita tries to get Opal to realize that she still loves Palmer. Opal knocks that theory right out of the water. Edmund pulls Bobby aside and tells him not to lie to Anita because it's the worst thing you can do to your marriage. Maria listens to the advice that Edmund is giving Bobby knowing that some of it is really directed towards her. In the other room Opal insists on reading Anita's cards and flip the cards everything is good until she gets the 16 the Tower Card and Opal stops in her tracks. Bobby enters the room and Opal looks right at him. She tells Anita that everything is going to be great and scoops up her cards and leaves. Bobby tells Anita they are going to have a wonderful life.


October 15, 2004 ~ Friday

Erica, on the way to visit Mona's grave, catches Maria and Zach in an embrace and makes comments to the pair. Maria sends Zach on his way and deals with Ms. Kane. Erica begins the sniping by asking if Maria is ashamed about having a tryst in a cemetery. Maria counters with asking Erica if she's done borrowing peoples children. Maria tries a strong arm tactic with Erica to get her to keep quiet about seeing the two ex-lovers together. Erica promises Maria she won't say anything if she gets Zach to leave town and to take Ethan with him.

Ryan goes to Wildwind to tell Edmund his theory about Zach being Alexander Cambias, Jr. but Edmund isn't responsive. He shoots down Ryan's theory and demands he drop it and then storms out. Ryan asks Aidan what's going on and Aidan tells him he's not sure but he'll continue the investigation. Ryan asks Aidan to get Edmund to come around. After Ryan leaves Aidan talks to Edmund and tells him that he knows whatever is going on is about Maria. Edmund confides in Aidan that he needs to believe that Zach is Zach and that's it because if he doesn't then that means Maria's been lying to him and he can't take that. Aidan understands but they really need to find the truth. After Aidan leaves Edmund dreams he's out of the chair and he challenges Zach but when he comes out of the daydream he knows he's still in the chair. When Maria returns Edmund asks her if she's been lying to him.

Ethan and Kendall talk on the roof of Fusion. She tries to support her new pal but he's feeling angry and frustrated. She reaches out to him and tells him she doesn't have any friends in Pine Valley so she needs him.

Maggie stops by Bianca's new apartment to see her gal pal. Binx explains that she thought it was Jonathan who took her shirt and she shouldn't have jumped to the conclusion right away. She swears to bring the person to justice who stole her shirt. Maggie begs her not to call the police on him. Bianca realizes that Maggie knows that Jonathan did do it and questions why? Maggie explains he was trying to help Ryan and Ethan wants to take everything away from him. Bianca tells her it's bull and asks how she could do that to her. Maggie explains she and Jonathan are falling in love. Bianca asks Maggie to leave. Shortly after Maggie takes off Zach comes knocking. He is upset and apologizes for what Michael became. He remembered the good kid he was but couldn't see the person he became. Zach wants to make amends for everything he did in his treatment of Bianca. Bianca tells him he can help her by helping Ethan discover if he's a Cambias. Zach declines because of the Cambias Curse. Bianca asks if he knows something about Ethan.

At Fusion, Greenlee's behavior becomes odd. She's flighty and distracted. She begins doing strange things and Simone notices that she's not herself. Ryan arrives back at Fusion and tells Greenlee to keep the Alex/Zach connection underwraps. She agrees but first she's got to save the fern. Ryan tells Ethan he can make an appointment and heads to the elevator where Kendall is already waiting to go down. Ethan tries to discuss the issue with Greenlee. He tells her he's just looking for answers she tells him that he should talk to Zach Slater because he's Alexander Cambias Jr.


October 14, 2004 ~ Thursday

Jackson and Reggie discover that Lily is missing and Jack calls the police. As he's speaking to Derek, Reggie gets a call on his cell from Dani telling them to get to school right away that Lily is there. When they arrive Lily is dressed provocatively and hanging with the "Hot Chicks". Jackson is shocked and tries to get Lily to leave but she won't go because she's cool and she has a test. While Jackson tries to give the "Hot Chicks" a talking to a guy at school hits on Lily and Reggie steps in. The guy tells Reggie his sister is begging for it and takes off. Jack tries to get Lily to come home but she won't go so Dani gives Lily her jacket to cover up. Reggie promises his father that he and Dani will get Lily home okay. Dani asks Mr. Montgomery if he's had the sex talk with Lily. He says the school gave a sex ed class. Dani tells him that his daughter needs more than that. Dani and Reggie plan revenge on the "Hot Chicks".

Ethan shows up at Fusion to see Kendall and is immediately harassed by Jonathan. Simone quips the office is usually so boring. As Kendall and Jonathan argue over Ethan the Lavery's arrive refreshed from their honeymoon. Ryan wants to talk to Ethan alone on the roof. This suggestion gets the peanut gallery all upset and Ryan and Ethan leave to discuss Ethan's bid for Cambias. Greenlee reaches out to Kendall who cautiously takes what Greenlee is giving and the two women come to an understanding about everything except Kendall's friendship with Ethan. Greenlee is still convinced that Ethan is responsible for shooting Ryan. Kendall tells her he's not.

On the roof Ryan tries to get Ethan to confess to shooting him or being in on it with Zach Slater. Ethan doesn't know anything about Slater but he promises to get back what is his by going to the Board. Ryan promises a fight. Ryan heads to Fusion again and tells Jonathan to take good care of Greenlee while he tends to something. Jonathan treats Greenlee as though she's already pregnant. Meanwhile, Kendall heads to the Roof and asks Ethan if she's pushed him into all of this and he tells his friend no. He tells her that she might want to step back for what comes next and Kendall demands to know if he's going to hurt Ryan.

Edmund tells Maria he's giving up the Zach investigation for them. Elated Maria hugs and kisses her husband. She gets a call and it's Zach he needs to talk to her right away. She tells Edmund it is important and can they pick up the joy a little later. He agrees and she leaves. Aidan arrives at Wildwind with confusing and bad news about Zach Slater. Confusing is he isn't who he says he is and bad because the trail is cold. As the two are discussing Zach, Ryan arrives to tell the boys that he believes Zach Slater is none other than Alexander Cambias, Jr. He puts all the pieces he's come up with together and it makes sense. Aidan and Edmund are intrigued. At the cemetery Maria meets Zach who is distraught at the notion that Michael was this evil person. He tells her about talking to Bianca and then talking to Myrtle. He then takes responsibility for who Michael became because he left him behind with Alexander. Maria tells him it is not his fault that Michael was who he was and not because of Zach. Zach becomes upset and tells Maria he's really the one who killed Michael (metaphorically).


October 13, 2004 ~ Wednesday

A frantic Bianca makes a full sweep of the loft and can not find the shirt. She turns to Zach and asks why he took it. She comments that he wanted to come back to the loft with her. He denies taking the shirt. Ethan jumps in with accusation of his own, like the fact that Zach was adamant that Ethan give up the search for his birth rite. Zach tells both that he didn't take the shirt. Erica enters the loft and chimes in with her opinion on the situation. Bianca upset, takes off. Zach leaves next and Erica asks Kendall if she can speak alone with Ethan. Ethan agrees and Kendall leaves. Erica digs for the truth as to why Ethan really wants to be a Cambias. It is a family associated with destruction and pain and loss. Ethan explains why he's in need of the truth and why. She's not completely sympathetic to his cause but understands his position but warns him about hurting her daughters.

Maggie stops by the Penthouse looking for some fun time with Jonathan. After several minutes Jonathan finally lets his new girlfriend in and she's amazed by the romantic fire going until she looks closer and sees Bianca's shirt burning away inside. She becomes angry and tells him that this shirt was the world to the person she loves. Jonathan finally explains his reasons for burning the shirt and it has to do with his childhood and Ryan. He doesn't want Ryan to leave his life again. He explains that Ryan was all he and his sister had to protect them. Maggie is sympathetic and before she can decide what to do Jonathan tells her he's going to tell Bianca the truth. As he opens the door Bianca is standing there ready to knock. Bianca comes in accusing Jonathan of stealing her shirt. Maggie watches her gal pal's desperation but covers for Jonathan when Bianca asks if Jonathan took the shirt. Maggie jumps in says he didn't and Jonathan goes along with the lie. Bianca apologizes for barging in and leaves. Jonathan is touched by Maggie's loyalty and tells her he's falling in love with her and the two embrace.

Jackson tries to calm a distraught Lily who tells Jack he wants to keep her from her friends. Jack tries to explain that China, Chantal and the other one are not her friends but she doesn't understand. Meanwhile, at the record store Dani sucks the "Hot Girls" into her plan. She lures them in with her cool Fusion connection and being the new kid. They are hooked when Dani tells them she can't come to there silly party because she's got a Fusion party for the new Fragrance "ENCHANTMENT" to go to. The girls beg for invitations and Dani explains she can invite anyone she wants. The girls want this bad and Dani drops the hammer. She asks if they all share everything. The tell her sure, make up, guys, secrets, clothes. She then asks if they all have the STD that one of them have. If the share everything then yes they all have the STD. Angered the girl lash back at Danielle but she's ready for their lame attempts and Reggie is her back up. She tells them she's friends with Lily Montgomery and Reggie is her brother so stay away from her for she'll send the text message to everyone about the STD. Angry the girls leave but as Danielle and Reggie rejoice in their victory the "Hot Chicks" make plans to get back at the trio (Lily, Dani & Reggie). Back at the apartment Jackson is frustrated, Lily won't come out of her room and just as his frustration peaks out Livia stops by to pick at his legal brain. She gives him advice with Lily and when Lily comes out of her room seemingly okay and Jackson is relieved. When he's distracted with Livia, Lily takes the maps that Reggie drew up for her and makes a plan. Reggie and Dani head back to the apartment to share their news and everyone has a good laugh. Lily heads to the Record Store and finds her "friends" and is freaked out by the loud music. Lily thinks that the "Hot Girls" stop the loud music and they chuckle. They take "Lilith" out of the record store.

Zach follows Kendall back to the condos and the two talk about Ethan. Zach loads a head trip on Kendall about her motives for helping Ethan in an attempt to get Kendall to drop this crusade she's on. He accuses her off being sick that she would use Ethan to help her get over her deficiencies in her life. Kendall goes to hit Zach and he tells her she's just like her mother. Zach tells her to leave Ethan alone and the his past alone. Kendall counters that he's the one with problems. He's the one who's trying to keep Mikey Cambias alive and moves into his old pal's condo so she suggest they dive into his past instead. Kendall asks why he would care about the Cambias boys after what Michael did to her sister. How many other conquests did they chat about in the locker room? She tells him he needs therapy because caring about a man like Michael is sick.

Bianca arrives home to Ethan and Erica still talking. She tells them she couldn't find the shirt and apologizes to Ethan. He tells her it's okay he'll find another way.


October 12, 2004 ~ Tuesday

David and Krystal are looking for Babe in the nursery. JR arrives to gloat over his victory over Babe. JR tells the couple that Babe has signed over full custody and tells them to GET OUT!. Babe rushes to the nursery and JR boasts that he has Bess and they can head back to the hillbilly place they came from. Babe asks JR for time to talk to her parents and say goodbye to Bess. He gives it to her. David and Krystal think that Babe has lost her mind. She explains about the DVD making look like Jamie and Babe were trying to kill JR. David tells her they could have done something about it. He reminds his daughter that she just signed over Bianca's Baby to JR. Babe explains that she wanted to protect Jamie. David freaks out and Babe explains that she signed over custodial rights to a baby that doesn't exists. She tells David to read the contract and he reads the part that JR has full rights over Bess Chandler. Babe reminds her folks that the baby in the crib isn't Bess she's Miranda Montgomery. David is relieve that his daughter thought of that. She tells them that once Kelly comes forward about Ace not being her son everything will work out. The two break the news that Kelly isn't coming forward and Babe becomes upset and tells them she's telling Bianca everything. David stops his daughter and tells her to think. The three decide on a plan of action, David explains he will get Paul Kramer to confess. It's time to say goodbye to "Bess" when JR returns. Babe is overwrought.

While on their Honeymoon Ryan and Greenlee decide whether to return to Pine Valley early and investigate Zach. Greenlee decides no and that they should continue their lovefest. When a car backfires and they jump thinking it's a gun shot Ryan convinces his wife it's time to go home so they can put all of this mess to rest. Greenlee agrees and the two make love before they leave.

At the site of the Miranda Montgomery Center for Women Bianca runs into Zach Slater. The two talk about not being able to move on. She tells the moody man that whether he chooses to accept it Michael Cambias was a bad man. She explains about the rape and he tries to talk to her about it using nice language. Bianca stops him and tells him it was rape and that trying to soften it doesn't help or make it right...it was rape. Binx tells him he needs to move on and the only way he can is to understand that the Michael he once knew may have been a nice boy but he grew into an evil man who only hurt people. Zach asks how Bianca could love his child if she feels that why about him. She explains that Miranda was the only good thing to come out of an abyss of darkness and pain. She was her hope. Zach tells Bianca he can't move on and she tells him they both need to move on. She tells him the shirt is not Miranda and take the first step to moving on. Bianca calls Ethan and offers him her shirt. Bianca explains she needs to go home and Zach asks if he can go with her...she says yes.

Kendall is arriving home from a day of shopping when she discovers that someone is in Zach's (formerly Michael Cambias') condo. She walks in and insist that he come out from hiding. Kendall is sure it's Ethan and when he comes from out of the bedroom her suspicions are confirmed. He's looking for any kind of DNA. Kendall agrees to help him search and he accepts her help. When they find nothing the decide to have a beer in the courtyard and discuss the lack of evidence and the fact that Zach hasn't left a hair or a fiber behind either. The two are discussing how odd it is when Jonathan stops by to harass the two. He starts to get ugly with Kendall insinuating that she's a tramp and that she's sleeping with the enemy now. He reminds her that she slept with him to get back at Ryan. Ethan, having had enough puts the lad on notice. The sparing ends when Ethan receives a call from Bianca and he and Kendall go to meet her at the loft. Ethan gloats that Bianca insists that he use her shirt and they are going to get the tests done now. Jonathan watches the pair leave.

Bianca meets Ethan and Kendall back at her place. Ethan is extremely grateful and Bianca realizes that her shirt is gone...it's missing! Back at the penthouse with the fireplace going Jonathan is holding Bianca's shirt.


October 11, 2004 ~ Monday

Jamie hunts down Paul Kramer and buddies up to him as another victim/jilted lover of Babe's. He gets Paul drunk and picks at him for information about Babe and what happened the night of the crash. Paul doesn't tell him everything telling him that it will cost him $50,000. It doesn't matter to James because he has enough information to figure the whole mess out. He realizes that Ace Buchanan is Babe's baby.

At Zach's office David pleads his case to Zach about needing more time to help his daughter. David tells Slater that if he gives him just a few weeks to make sure that Babe and her child are safe he doesn't care if he gives the unedited version to the police or Adam. Scowling Slater's not sold until David tells him to pretend for just one minute you have a child and think about wanting to do whatever possible to see them safe. And think about Adam and JR and how they are intent on destroying. Zach's scowl relaxes and David leaves.

Maria and Edmund continue to fight over Zach. Edmund wants to know what Maria is hiding and she tells him nothing. Later Maria heads to Zach's office to tell him that Edmund won't let it go and that she's kept his secret. Touched by her loyalty Zach tells his former lover that he will get Ethan to forget about this whole Cambias business and get him to leave town and he will follow him. Maria is shocked by Zach's decision and reaches out to him.

Krystal and Tad get into an argument after he ruins her meeting with Kelly Buchanan. Kelly takes off leaving Krystal no where further in her pursuit to get Ace back to Babe. Tad tells her he's not sorry for interrupting and he's tired of her secrets. Krystal explains that she loves Tad but he's got to back off. When Tad explains that he knows that Krystal changed the "Bess" DNA tests that showed JR as the Daddy. He gets angry with her because she is trying to drag his son into this mess again. Krystal takes hold of the situation and tells Tad that his whole mess started with him wanting to know the answer to his question. She tells her love that she has an answer to his marriage proposal and its...NO. David arrives after the two finished fighting and Krystal explains that she got no where with Kelly and David blames Tad for that. She then tells David she's done with Tad and told him no she won't marry him. David and Krystal decide on a new course of action.

JR tries to get Babe to sign the full custody papers using a tape of Jamie and Babe plotting his demise. Babe questions him how he could send is brother to jail again. He tells her that she's doing it. Babe then plays into JR's insecurities and tells him Jamie won't have to go to jail because she'll kill him herself. She tells him that she will kill him and then admit it. Unnerved JR tells her she wouldn't go through with it because she wouldn't get Bess. Babe tells him that nothing will keep her from her baby but even if she did go to jail it wouldn't matter because her Momma will take good care of her baby and the point is JR won't have her baby either because he'll be dead! She then plays to the Camera's that she is sure that are recording the two. JR tells her that even if she did kill him Krystal wouldn't get "Bess" because his father wouldn't allow it. She tells him yes she would because her Momma's creative and she has David to help her. JR doesn't fold so Babe takes a new approach that JR's really insecure because deep down inside he knows that Jamie will always be the better man. She explains that with all her faults and situations when Jamie discovered the truth he's stood by her because he's that type of man. A kind, compassionate, loving man and JR, well he's hollow, controlling and sad. She continues to play on JR.

October 7, 2004 ~ Thursday

Bianca, Reggie and Dani head back to Jack's apartment. There they find Erica and Jackson talking about Lily. Jack is concerned about his daughter and her news of being a "hot" chick. The group discuss it and Jack's fears. Lily enters and tells everyone that her name is now Lilith and she's a hot cool chick. When the group probe the girl further they discover that she is doing the "Hot Chicks" homework. And that they make fun of Lily without her understanding. Lily is proud because she's being more social. Erica goes ballistic and sets about to stomp on the "Hot Chicks". Bianca, Reggie and Dani explain to Ms. Kane that might not be the best idea. Dani decides to handle this in a different manner but promises they won't be getting away with anything.

At SOS Maggie comes clean with Jonathan about Bianca. She explains their complicated past and the even more complicated present. He is understanding of the whole thing and isn't judging Maggie at all. She's relieved he's being cool about things and it makes her like him more.

Adam has news for JR that will help him win sole custody of "Bess". He shows him a DVD that will help their case. JR doesn't want to use any part with Jamie in it. Adam asks if Stuart got to him and he tells him that Jamie is his brother. Adam reminds JR that Stuart helped Liza take his child away and that "Bess" is blood and Jamie isn't. Adam tells his son that he'll have to make a choice, his daughter or his brother.

Babe breaks the news to Jamie that JR is her baby's father. He's okay with it and she lets him down gently. Jamie explains he's still "Bess's" Godfather and that's not going to change and he takes it seriously. Babe realizes she's beginning to have feelings for Jamie but with everything going to blow up soon she wants to protect him so she pushes him away. As Jamie is leaving the mansion JR stops him and the two talk. JR extends a hand in truce and tells him they are brothers and should start acting like it. Jamie, having witnessed the Junior version of Adam tells his brother NO THANKS, he has no brother and leaves. When Adam sees JR later JR tells his father he's on board with the DVD and getting "Bess".

Krystal, David and Babe discuss what's next. Things are going to be crazy now. Babe just wants Miranda back with Bianca and she realizes that she may not get her boy back. David tells her to stay strong and it will work out. He lashes out about Paul Cramer and exclaims that Michael Cambias might be lonely in the dump. David, Babe and Krystal set about plan of action.


October 6, 2004 ~ Wednesday

Bianca, Dani and Reggie had out to SOS for an evening out and run into Jonathan and Maggie being smoochie. Just as Binx is about to move on to an empty table Reggie found when Jonathan asks the group to join them. Hesitantly they agree and everyone waits for the fireworks but Jonathan is on his best behavior. When the topic turns to Ethan, Jonathan gets wired and Bianca tells him she has proof Ethan's the real deal and tells the group about the shirt and Ethan turning it down when he found out it might become destroyed. Dani and Reggie go dancing to exit the tension and Jonathan goes for drinks. Alone Maggie and Bianca talk about Maggie's love revelation and how Bianca's off the hook because she's really into Jonathan and Bianca loves Lena so all is well. Bianca looks hurt but says great. Later Jonathan points out that perhaps Ethan wasn't so noble and doesn't really want the truth to come out. The kids leave Maggie and Jonathan alone to enjoy their evening. Jonathan asks Maggie if Bianca is the person who she loves?

Ethan and Kendall continue to bond and Ethan kisses her while she tries to teach him basketball. Kendall pulls away not wanting to ruin their budding friendship.

Ryan and Greenlee head to a secluded location for some R&R and romance. The two start their honeymoon by making passionate love. They then discuss what's next.

Babe and Jamie talk and he eludes to what he knows. He asks if he could be her baby's father and she tells him of her hopes that he is. He talks about all of the great things he can do for Babe and the child and how he would love the child. Babe is touched. She gets a visit from Krystal who needs to speak with her alone. Jamie leaves the nursery telling her he'll be downstairs waiting for her. Krystal delivers the confirmation that Babe is Ace Buchanan's biological mother and Babe is relieved to have it confirmed. She asks her Momma who the daddy is and Krystal tells her David is still waiting for the results to come back. Jamie and JR have a confrontation in the Chandler living room JR gloats that Bess is his and no one can change that. Jamie becomes angered but keeps his cool for "Bess's" sake. Babe gets a cell call from David with the news of who is her baby's daddy. Jamie walks into the nursery just as David is telling her the news.


October 5, 2004 ~ Tuesday

JR tells Babe he wants their marriage to work. He tries to woo her with a meal that was the same as when they first met. He even tries to seduce his wife but she freaks out and tells him no. She runs upstairs with JR in pursuit and locks herself in "Bess's" room. JR bangs on the door threatening to kick it in.

Jamie uses his grandfather's office to dig into when Paul Kramer was working thinking he could have changed Babe's baby's paternity. He enlists Anita's help even though she's not sure it's the right thing to do. The two discover that Paul delivered the results which means he could have changed them. Jamie heads to the Chandler Mansion to ask Babe questions about her baby. When he arrives he finds JR ready to kick in the door and Jamie grabs his brother by the throat to stop him. He tells Babe to open the door and Babe is relieved for his intervention. JR isn't amused with his brother's interference.

At the Casino, Bianca tells Ethan she has what he needs to prove if he's a Cambias. She gives him the shirt she was wearing when Miranda was born. She explains there might be some ammoniac fluid or blood on it. Ethan is touched and thanks her. Erica arrives and goes ballistic that Bianca would help a possible Cambias. Zach, trying to get Ethan to change his mind talks to him outside the office while Erica talks to her daughters. Bianca explains to her mother that she knows what she's doing and that Ethan was cleared of shooting Ryan. Erica tells her that she's been hurt by Cambias' before and to let it go. Kendall steps in with the fact that Ethan will never be able to go on with his life until he knows the truth and she knows this because she's living proof of it. Ethan, Kendall and Bianca head to the DNA Lab with the shirt and Erica and Zach stay behind. Erica asks Zach why he's helping Ethan. She tells him that they do not need another Cambias because Michael was nothing but evil. Zach becomes angered by Erica's comments and accuses her of murdering Michael. She tells him she didn't but if she could have she would have. She puts Slater on notice to stay away from her daughters.

David is frantic for the results of the DNA test to see who Ace's parents really are and he wonders where Krystal is. Tad arrives and taunts David with the fact that he might not be Babe's father after all (the cover story he and Krystal came up with for the DNA Test). Krystal arrives nervous and munching on candy. Tad watches the two closely and realizes they are both on edge and he's not sure why. He tries prodding both David and Krystal but no luck. When Krystal asks Tad to get her an ice cream he sends David instead and pumps Krystal for information. He asks her to look at him and tells him what's going on Krystal keeps to the story. Bianca, Kendall and Ethan arrive at the DNA Lab and Krystal wonders why they are there. David comes back to the group and wonders also what's going on. Bianca tells them they are there for DNA Results. David and Krystal look at each other. Bianca explains about the shirt and Ethan's chance to find out who he really is. David tells Bianca that they may end up destroying her shirt if they have to search for the DNA. Shocked Binx looks dismayed but stands by her decision to help Ethan. She tells the group that the shirt isn't the only thing she has of Miranda. She explains she has the memory of her and the time they shared and no one can take that from her. She hands the shirt to Ethan who tells her that he can't take it. She insists and he tells her he can't do it and he leaves. Bianca is shocked and Kendall tells her sister that she knew he was the real deal. The girls leave followed by Tad. The technician comes to the couple with the results....Babe is Ace's mother! Krystal and David are thrilled to be grandparents. The tech tells them that they do not have the paternity part of the test completed yet.

Greenlee and Ryan talk about their honeymoon and Alex/Zach theory. The two decide to put everything on hold until they have some romance.


October 4, 2004 ~ Monday

Babe and Bianca have the babies at the park in Llandview when they get a surprise. Jamie stops by to say hi. Babe asks why he's in Llandview. He explains that he's working for the Buchanan campaign and saw them come in and wanted to say hey. Jamie asks if this is the baby Babe lost. She says yes he is and just as it seems she's going to come clean with the truth (see rant), she doesn't. Babe explains that when she went for a drive that day and ended up in Llandview she ran into Kevin and Ace and the little boy changed everything for her. Jamie asked about the chapel for the lost baby. She explains to Bianca and Jamie about the chapel and Bianca is thrilled she did this for Miranda. Bianca wants to help with the rebuilding. She heaps praise on Babe for her good deeds. Babe is shocked that Jamie went to the Chapel and now knows the truth. He tells her he spoke to the Minister. Babe tells them if she could make it all work out she would make sure that Bianca was with Miranda again. Babe and Jamie share glances and Babe thinks about the fact that Jamie knows the truth about Ace and "Bess".

Ryan and Greenlee talk about Ryan's theory that Zach Slater could be Alexander Cambias, Jr. Greenlee tells him it could be true and it would make sort of sense. The couple put together the pieces and see what they come up with. They figure that Ethan doesn't know that Zach is his father and decide on a plan of action. The two agree to work on it AFTER their honeymoon because all Ryan wants to do is make love to his wife. The get ready to leave the hospital.

JR gets angry with Stuart when he discovers that he let Babe take Bess out without him. He grabs his uncle and gets rough with him in his anger. Stuart is shocked but stands up to the lad. JR accuses Stuart of betraying him and that they are family. He also points out that Babe gave her word that she'd be back and he believed her. JR asks why he would believe her after all the lies she told him. Stuart explains she did those because she loved him and made mistakes. Stuart then drops the bomb on JR that he has become Adam and that isn't a good thing. He tells him that Adam has driven all of his children away, Skye, Hayley, JR and now Colby. Stuart lets it slip that Liza has taken off with Colby. JR immediately seeks out his father who has just learned of the disappearance himself. Angry Adam demands his private detectives find them NOW! Stuart faces Adam's wrath and Stuart fires back. Adam tells him he's tired of his betrayals! Stuart tells him Adam did this and it's wrong that he's sending strangers to bring back the people he supposedly loves. JR sees how Adam reacts to Stuart and sees the side of Adam he is becoming. Adam demands Stuart leave his sight. When it is just father and son Adam asks if Stuart is getting to JR and he tells him yes he is and Adam tells him not to be soft about this issue but JR is waning. Stuart stops by to talk to Adam one more time. He explains to Adam that he's trying to protect himself not the ones he loves. Stuart begs with Adam to leave JR alone and not drag him to the lonely abyss that Adam always goes too.

Babe arrives home with a new view on things since she knows Jamie is on to the truth. She is nice to JR when he comes into the nursery he looks at her and then turns on her. He later tells Adam he knows what he has to do about Bess and Babe. Babe turns off the baby monitor and tells "Bess" that she hopes Ace's daddy is Jamie.

Zach and Ethan have a frank discussion about being a Cambias. He tells the young man he knew Alex Cambias. He explains that Alexander wasn't a good man or father and that he drove Alex away and that's why he's gone today. He also tells Ethan that Michael wasn't the bad guy that the town says he was and that Ethan should give up all of this Cambias stuff, look what it did to Alex. Ethan asks Zach if he knew his mother and he tells him that he met Hannah a couple of times and she was nice. He then asks Zach if anyone knew she was pregnant. He tells Ethan no he doesn't think anyone knew. The two talk about who shot Ryan Lavery and Zach tells him it wasn't him. Ethan asks if he believes that he did it. Zach tells him no but someone wanted Lavery dead. Zach tries to convince Ethan to give up all things Cambias just as Alex tried. Ethan argues about taking advice from Zach. Bianca stops by to see Ethan at Zach's office with news that might help him.


October 1, 2004 ~ Friday

Babe is gushing over her little boy when Kevin arrives at campaign headquarters. She tries to get him to go on a picnic with her, Bianca and "Bess". Kevin is swamped so "Bella" throws on the charms and finally he relents and allows Ace and his nanny to go with the girls. Bianca asks Kevin on his position on gay marriage and when he fails to answer the question clearly she regrets to inform him she'll be casting her vote for his opponent. He doesn't take it personally and the three women leave for their day at the park. Jamie hangs behind posing as a campaign volunteer. He probes Kevin with questions and discovers from Kevin his son isn't adopted.

Babe and Bianca go to the park and Bianca questions her use of the name Bella and Babe makes up a story that Bella sounded more grown up. Bianca accepts this and asks if Babe is interested in Kevin and she tells her no she's only interested in Little Ace. When the nanny takes a phone call leaving the two women alone with the children Babe tells Bianca how these two children have a connection. Bianca starts to notice it and is amazed. Later Babe breaks out the camera and the four sit for a picture together with Bianca holding "Bess" and Babe holding Ace. Babe is about to tell Bianca the truth about "Bess" and Jamie walks by telling them he was out for a drive.

At the casino Ethan confronts Zach as to why he would be helping him. Kendall tries to get her new friend to understand that Zach is a friend and to trust him. Ethan's not sold on it. Edie enters telling Mr. Slater that a Paul Kramer is there to see him and Kendall blurts out that he was the one who killed Miranda in the helicopter crash. Zach tells Edie to send Mr. Kramer in. An unsuspecting Paul walks into Zach's wrath as he makes the pip-squeak squirm. Zach asks about Paul's flight record and then asks the pilot if he's killed anyone. He tells them when you log that many flight hours you are bound to have an accident. Kendall verbally attacks Paul and Zach becomes quiet and scary telling Mr. Kramer he had 10 seconds to get out of his office and casino. Paul tells them they are all nuts and leaves. Ethan and Kendall see a different, scary side to Zach Slater. Kendall again begs Ethan to let Zach help him, especially since the town seems to want to lynch him even though he's innocent. Ethan agrees and Kendall is relieved. Ethan asks Kendall to let him speak to Zach alone and she agrees just happy he's accepting Mr. Slater's help. Once Kendall is gone Ethan demands to know exactly what Zach's interest in him is!

Ryan is sprung from the hospital and he and Greenlee make honeymoon plans. The talk soon turns to Zach Slater when he sends a get well card to Ryan's hospital room. As Greens and Ryan discuss who Slater really is Ryan as an epiphany which he doesn't share with his blushing bride. Greenlee realizes Ryan's holding back and wants to know what he's thinking. Ryan side steps the Mrs. by telling her he's thinking honeymoon. The two prepare for the lovin`.

Maggie and Jonathan get very serious very quickly when the two succumb to their passion. After making love Jonathan is ready to bolt Maggie's apartment and she is wounded. He doesn't leave and the two talk about Maggie's love. Maggie tells him she thinks it's over, no she knows it's over and he asks her what it's like to fall in love. She tells him and he becomes uncomfortable and goes to leave again. She tells him she has feelings for him and he's pretty sure it's ditto for him. The two smooch some more.


September 30, 2004 ~ Thursday

Babe visits her father in jail concerned with what happened to the DNA sample. The two talk and Babe mentions to David that she's going to take Bianca and Miranda to Llandview to visit her little boy. David demands she listen to him and stay away. She points out that she just wants Bianca to get Miranda back. David explains to his daughter that they need to do it in a way that doesn't incriminate any of them because if JR discovers that they all knew the truth he will persecute Babe and keep her from her baby. Babe tells him she understands .David gets some good news from Derek via Zach Slater. The video shows that David had nothing to do with Adam's bizarre story. Tad and Krystal go back to Tad's and he's taken the DNA sample of JR's. Krystal makes up a story to get it back from Tad when seduction doesn't work. She tells her lover that it is David's DNA and that she wants to really prove whether David is Babe's daddy or not. She points out that he was the one who did the original test and could have lied. Tad queries as to why he would do that and Krystal points out that lonely people can become desperate.

Bianca rushes to the police station in search of Kendall but misses her but discovers that Ethan's been cleared. She does meet up with Jonathan and the two get into an enormous row about his anger over the fact now he believes Ethan is guilty and wants him locked up. Bianca points out that he had similar rage over Kendall. She also points out to the angry lad that the ballistics came back and cleared Ethan. This only makes Jonathan angrier. He takes off and runs into Maggie at the door. She calms him down and is about to leave with him when an unsettled Bianca calls after her. The two get into an argument over Jonathan and the fact that she knows so little about him. Maggie tells her she knows him better than Bianca. She asks Bianca what this is really about and Bianca tells her pal she doesn't want her to get hurt. Annoyed Maggie tells her she's fine and takes off with Jonathan. After promising David she'd stay away from Llandview Babe goes back on that promise when she sees Bianca and takes it as a sign. She asks her friend if she would like to take a trip with her and "Bess" to Llandview. Bianca agrees to go.

Jamie and Stuart talk about the Babe/JR situation and what to do about the truth. Stuart helps the lad a little with his positive spine on Babe. Stuart tells him that Babe really does have a good heart and that she may not do the right thing but she always has the best intentions behind her errors in judgment. Babe and Bianca arrive at the mansion and "Bess" lights up when she sees Bianca. Jamie makes a comment about "Bess" and Bianca being with each other is right. Babe confronts him and he asks why he made the comment and Jamie skirts the issue. Jamie takes off and Babe asks Stuart for a favor. She wants to take "Bess" and Bianca on a picnic and day trip. Stuart is apprehensive at first but relents since Bianca is going with her. The two women and baby in tow head to Llandview to visit Kevin Buchanan and Ace. There Babe discovers Kevin's not there but finds little Ace and introduces "Bess" and Bianca to the most beautiful little boy ever. Standing behind them is a hidden Jamie watching the happenings.

Brooke stops by Tad's just as David is storming out after catching on to Krystal's story of the DNA. Tad tries to convince Krystal to let him handle this matter but Krystal insists he give it back and she'll take care of it. She'd feel better doing it herself. Tad gives the sample back to Krystal and she leaves. Meeting David outside he jokes with her about getting more advanced notice to her story. She explains she hid the sample where no one would find it, well except Tad. David jokes again saying he would have had fun looking for it. The two take off to find Babe. Brooke queries Tad as to what is going on with their son. He tells her that he's not telling him everything but he thinks it has to do with Babe. Brooke is not happy with this news and points out that both father and son have trouble staying away from Carey women. She also points out that David, Krystal, Tad, Jamie, Babe, JR bubble is going to pop and she doesn't like it one bit. David and Krystal head back to the mansion looking for Babe and run into Stuart who tell them she's on a picnic with Bianca and "Bess" and that they are going to pick up another baby along the way. David and Krystal panic.

September 28 & 29, 2004 ~ Tuesday & Wednesday

Adam's back with a vengeance. When David's taunts go to far Adam hits David. Derek arrives and Adam tells his story about having been shipped in a create and then making his way home via Tibet and then China. David amused at the tale continues his taunts. When Derek puts the cuffs on David stops laughing. Babe tries to get JR's toothbrush back from David but isn't able too. At the police station the toothbrush gets put with all of David's personal items. David is amazed that he's being arrested with no evidence of a crime but just with Adam's urging. He accuses Derek of being under Adam's money control. Derek gets angry.

Ethan tells her he didn't shoot Ryan but he doesn't think it will matter. Kendall tells him it does. Maria tells Zach that Ethan's been arrested and Zach rushes to aid the young man. At the police station Zach asks Kendall what happened. She tells him everything that happened and that he was holding his rifle when he answered the door to Derek. Kendall also decries his innocence. Zach promises to help Ethan every way he can. Ethan is confused why Zach would care.

Jamie knowing almost the whole truth goes to see Bianca and tells here that Babe is reconstructing a church for a lost baby. He leaves out the part of it being her baby boy. Bianca immediately thinks it's for Miranda and tells Jamie that Babe is a wonderful person and she's a great friend and that she loves her. Jamie is disillusioned by the woman he once loved and wonders what to do with the knowledge he's gained. He seeks he father's advice and continues to struggle with whether to disclose what he's found out about Bess (aka Miranda) and Babe's Baby Boy.

Maria visits Ryan who pumps her for information concerning Zach Slater. He believes that Zach may have been the one who shot him. Maria tells him it wasn't Zach because she was with him the whole time. Ryan asks if someone else was with them and the tells them no. Ryan points out that all he has at this point is her word and he thinks she's clouded by Zach. Ryan still believes Zach is involved in his shooting.

Greenlee heads to the police station after hearing of Ethan's arrest. He wants them to throw away the key. When Kendall defends Ethan, Greenlee and Kendall get into a verbal spar. Zach brings Derek the video from the night of the party that will clear Ethan. Derek asks if Zach for video concerning the David/Adam affair and Zach tells the Chief that he'll have the video sent over. Derek thanks the tycoon for his assistance. Derek also gets back the ballistics report on Ethan's rifle.

Liza stops by Tad's to discuss leaving town with Colby. Tad supports his friend and gives her the new identities for she and Colby. He tells her it's not to late to change her mind. Then Adam calls demanding that Liza deliver his daughter. He tells her he is owed back visitation with her and she is to drop Colby off first thing in the morning! Liza and Tad discuss what has happened to all of Adam's other children. How they became partial or whole versions of Adam. With the exception of Hayley, Skye and JR are still trying to figure out their lives. Tad tells Liza when he sees JR he looks in his eyes to see a glimpse of Dixie and he tells her that there isn't any, just Adam. Adam's phone call helps Liza make her decision and she decides to flee Pine Valley so that Colby can grow up a happy well adjusted child. Marian and Stuart stop by and the three have a last moment to bond before Liza gets Colby and they leave forever. Krystal asks Tad for help after explaining that David's been arrested and why. Tad agrees to help David for Babe's sake.

Babe and Krystal scramble to get the toothbrush back. Krystal goes to Tad to get him to help. At the jail Tad is threatened with he sees David and Krystal close. David taunts Tad with the fact that Krystal will never marry Tad, not if he has anything to do with it and he will. Krystal goes into acting mode when she sees David's personal effects envelope on the desk in the office. She distracts Officer Andy and gets the toothbrush. She pops back to the cell holding David and gives him the sign she's got it and she and Tad leave.

Outside of Zach's condo Maria runs into Bianca and asks her for her help in convincing Zach that Michael was a really bad man. Confused Bianca asks why would Zach care?


September 27, 2004 ~ Monday

Enchantment/Fusion launch their new perfume "Enchantment" and sales are going well. Simone and Greenlee are happily working like busy bees while Kendall is MIA on her major project idea. Simone talks about hooking up with Jonathan and Greenlee comes clean she's worried about Ryan because they haven't discovered the shooter yet.

Ethan is arrested by Derek and Kendall defends him. Bianca comes by the Pine Cone looking for Kendall at Ethan's and witnesses everything. After Ethan is taken away Bianca tries to find out from her sister what's going on and when Bianca sees how wrapped up in Ethan Kendall is she's becomes worried for her sister. She reminds her that Michael wasn't bad at first and he fooled everyone. Kendall intensely defends Ethan and tries to explain to Bianca that she needs to help him because they are alot alike. Bianca tries but fails to convince Kendall to just step back for a bit and see the situation. She doesn't want her sister to do anything that is self destructive. Bianca tells her sister that she may be able to help Ethan prove he's a Cambias. She still has the shirt that she was wearing when she gave birth to Miranda and their might be some DNA on it. An ecstatic Kendall tells her they need to help Ethan. Bianca tells her she's not ready to give up the only thing she has of Miranda to help a man who may have shot Ryan. Kendall staunchly defends Ethan. Bianca asks Kendall to keep an open mind where Ethan is concerned. She tells her sister she'll cover for her at Fusion. Bianca heads back to Fusion without Kendall. Kendall heads to the jail to asks Ethan if he shot Ryan. He tells her would she believe him either way? She tries to help her friend but he's resisting.

Jamie and Maggie leave the destroyed church after Jamie finds out that Babe gave birth to a baby boy and when Maggie asks what he found out he tells her nothing, that it is just a destroyed church. Jamie becomes quiet. Later Jamie, Maggie, Danielle and Reggie run into Krystal, Babe and David at the diner in Llandview. Jamie and Babe talk and he tries to pump her for information as to why they are in Llandview.She tells him that David had a Doctor related fundraiser here. When Babe asks why he's in Llandview he tells her that the group went out for the day and ended up there. He wants to get to the truth and gives Babe some room to come clean but she tells him everything she's doing is for her baby. He asks her Bess? and she says yes Bess. He tells her that it's so sad that Bianca lost Miranda and Babe tells him if she could give Miranda back to Bianca she would. Krystal tells Babe they need to go and Jamie is more confused than ever after she leaves. Jamie and Reggie hang out and Reggie tries to convince his friend to leave Babe alone and that she's trouble. He tells him he needs to concentrate on someone other than Babe and Jamie agrees. When Jamie gets back to Pine Valley he finds Bianca and the two discuss Babe. Bianca wants to know if Jamie found out anything about Babe.

JR and Stuart talk about Babe and Bess. JR tries to smooth talk Stuart to seeing his side and he tells him that if he must he'll testify in court for Babe so she can keep Bess. JR is hurt and Stuart tells him he has become Adam and that's not good. He also tells him that he's a different person than when he came back to town. JR points out all of the lies Babe did and Stuart tells his nephew she's made mistakes but he's become Adam and that's worse. JR reminds his uncle that they are flesh and blood and Stuart tells him that so is Bess and he's on her side.

Krystal, Babe and David arrive back at the mansion to get JR's toothbrush so that David can prove that either JR is Ace's father or not. If not then that leaves Jamie as the daddy. While talking about Jamie and their trip to Llandview JR overhears some of what they are saying before David realizes and opens the door to reveal JR standing on the other side. David tells Babe to get that thing for him he's taking with him and Babe goes and gets the toothbrush. David taunts JR with Adam's disappearance and the fact that he wasn't arrested. Babe returns with the item and gives it to David who lays in one more taunt but soon discovers that was a mistake when Adam is standing at the door disheveled.

September 24, 2004 ~ Friday

Bianca moves into her new home which is Greenlee's old home. Erica stops by to visit her younger daughter and the two have a great chat. While talking Bianca comes clean with Erica about missing Miranda and feeling like she's still here. She tries to explain it but tells her mother she just can't but something is keeping her in Pine Valley. Binx tells Erica that Lena has been after her to come to Poland and Bianca keeps putting her off even though she loves her so much. She tells her mother that Lena is upset about Bianca's not coming to visit her. A sympathetic Erica tries to help her daughter and suggest they shop for a house for Bianca so she can have a place that is hers alone. Bianca shares that she already did that. Erica is shocked to here this news and Bianca explains that she was buying the house for her and Miranda but now she doesn't need it. Bianca can feel her daughter.

Maggie and Jamie go on the search for answers by sneaking into the Chandler Mansion but they are soon caught by JR but not before Jamie scores a clue. Maggie takes off while JR and Jamie talk. JR reaches out to his brother but Jamie soon catches on that JR is setting him up. He tells JR that he's not going to help him destroy Babe. JR tells Bess that he's going to keep her safe. Jamie and Maggie continue their search and it lands them at the destroyed church. There Maggie goes outside to make a phone call and Jamie talks to the Pastor of the Church. He tell the Reverend that he's looking for his friend and shows him the picture he found at the mansion. The Reverend explains that it is the picture of the stain glass window for their Chapel. He tells him that it is the woman's child who is financing the rebuilding of the church. Confused Jamie pumps him for more information. The Reverend tells him she lost her baby boy in the flood last March and Jamie assumes it is Bianca that he's talking about but she had a girl. The Reverend tells him that the woman's name is Babe not Bianca. Jamie leaves more confused than ever.

David, Krystal and Babe work on a plan to get the DNA they need to prove that Ace is Babe's child. Krystal knows just what to do and the three head to Llandview. There is an event that they crash all dressed up. Krystal sees Kelly and puts her plan in motion. She gets Kelly to take her to Ace and Babe follows. Krystal then gets Kelly to go outside and Babe moves in to say hi to her newest little man friend Ace Buchanan. She spills something on the Nanny and when she goes to clean up Babe bonds with Ace and gets the saliva she needs. Kelly freaks out when she sees a stranger (Babe) holding her son.

Kendall wakes up to Ethan staring at her. She thanks him for letting her crash at his place and asks where he slept. He tells her he doesn't sleep. Ethan gets a wobbly Kendall something to eat. Touched the two bond but when Ethan starts asking questions about Miranda Kendall gets angry. She finally shares some of the details about Miranda with Ethan. Like the fact that Bianca kept her baby because of Kendall and that Kendall and Bianca were going to raise this child differently. While the two talk Kendall reveals that she two was a product of rape. Ethan is shocked and Kendall tells him don't worry about it she's dealt with those demons. Kendall notices that Ethan put his rifle together and inquires what he's planning to do with it. Ethan is holding the rifle when there is a knock at the door. He opens the door as Derek tells the young man he has a search warrant. Derek sees the rifle.


September 23, 2004 ~ Thursday

Tad tries to bribe Babe into telling him what Krystal's secret is. She tells him that her Mama loves him but it's her secret. At David's office Krystal passes out and David tends to her. She's worried about what comes next. When the truth about Bess comes out she might go to jail. David reassures her it will be okay. A former patient of David's arrives and David tells Krystal that he might be the one to help them. Krystal leaves to go to Tad's where she finds him trying to get Babe to talk. She tells him to stop. No more pressure!

JR goes to Derek's home to demand that he arrest David. Derek asks if he has any evidence. JR says no. Derek asks if Hayward confessed. He tells him not exactly. Derek asks when he last saw Adam. He tells him the night of Ryan Lavery's shooting and Derek tells him perhaps Adam shot Ryan and took off. JR is annoyed and Derek finally agrees to interview David but insists him not come. JR stays at the Frye home until Derek returns. Reggie and Dani would love to hang out with JR. Reggie tells JR he wants to know how to become an EWG (Entitled White Guy). He torments JR with the "How to be an EWG" while Derek's away. Reggie also pumps him for info about Babe and Llandview.

Greenlee tells her husband if he can get out of his hospital bed then she will make love with him. As Ryan steps on the floor he passes out. Anita comes into the room with Ryan on the floor kissing Greenlee. Greens asks her to help him get back into bed. Ryan gets a complete check and he's okay from his adventure. Aidan stops by to discuss the shooting suspects. Aidan gives the list as Zach, Ethan or someone else. It was definitely and inside job because the person knew about where Ryan would be and about the game. Zach has an alibi and Ethan doesn't. Aidan takes off to do more investigating. When Aidan leaves the two make with the smoochies.

Derek goes to David's office and asks what his connection is to Adam's disappearance. David confesses to playing JR telling him he had something to do with Adam's disappearance but he didn't. Derek asks why he would do this and David responds he wanted JR to leave his daughter alone and since he started messing with JR he hasn't had time to terrorize Babe. Derek is satisfied with explanation and heads back to his house. JR demands to know what happened. Derek tells him David played him and unless he gets a ransom not than he's not arresting anyone. JR threatens to get Derek fired and that he's seeking the help of the FBI so be prepared. Derek throws JR out. Dani, Reggie and Derek have a moment of rejoicing. Dani points out to her father that he and Reggie are on the same side for once and are bonding. Derek and Reggie both shrug it off and Derek goes back to enjoying his day off.

David stops by Tad's to collect Babe and Krystal. A frustrated Tad wants to know what the three of them are doing because it's like a little club with a secret handshake between the three. David and the ladies leave and go back to his office where David shares that Gilly came back with news that there is no record of Kelly Buchanan ever giving birth. Anita comes into David's office to drop off papers and notices a picture of Kelly but knows her under a different name, Mrs. Heinz. David inquires further and Anita tells him patient confidentiality and he tells her it's okay because this woman may have been involved in criminal activity. She tells him that she came into PVH and gave birth to a baby boy. She also tells him that it was sad. David inquires as to why and Anita tells him her baby was still born. He thanks Anita and she leaves. Babe then says that's it...Ace Buchanan is her son!

Aidan and Anita had discussed earlier about she and Bobby buying a house. She's having difficulty picking one and he confronts her that perhaps it's not the house and it is Bobby that is keeping her from making a decision. She tells him no that's not it. Aidan backs down and goes about his business. Anita is about to leave for the day but she still can't make up her mind about the house she wants. When Aidan sees her later in the day Anita assures him this is what she wants and the two go over the houses again and Aidan picks one with a gazebo telling her that she can look out at the stars at night. She likes that. Aidan leaves.


September 22, 2004 ~ Wednesday

Liza stops by Tad's to visit. She finds out about what's going on with JR, Adam and Babe. Liza tells Tad about the threat that Adam made about the custody agreement he and Liza have about Colby. Tad asks Liza to spy for him on the inside. He reminds her that this all started when she told JR about Babe's marriage to Paul not being annulled. Liza explains she thought that Krystal would follow Babe out of town. He also tells her he's proposed to Krystal. Liza's shocked but explains they went from being enemies to lovers to friends to lovers to friends, to enemies...Tad says it's time to be friends again and she agrees. They come to the understanding that they want the best for each other and leave on better terms than they've been on in years. Liza tells tells Tad he needs to protect her daughter from Adam. Look at what happened to JR when he came back he was all positive and look at what Adam has done with him. She tells him she needs to make a new life for herself and Colby. Tad tells Liza to let him know when she needs help because he'll be there to help her. She thanks him and leaves.

Bianca over hears Babe tell Krystal and David "that is my baby boy". She demands to know what they are talking about. David shrugs it off but Babe tells them she needs to talk to Bianca. When her folks leave Babe tells Binx that she's doing everything for her baby. Bianca asks which one Bess or her son? When Babe explains Bianca tells her that she's not making any sense and Bianca leaves more confused than ever. When Bianca leaves and makes a phone call. Krystal, Babe and David formulate the next phase to prove Ace is her baby and how to get him back. When David is talking about JR as her baby's father, Krystal and Babe make faces and David notices that is the second time they did it and Babe tells David that JR might not be her baby's father it could be Jamie. He's not thrilled but it is the lesser of two evils. He tells Babe at least Jamie won't kidnap and hide her son from her.

The Scooby gang decide it's time to solve the mystery. Maggie, Lily, Reggie, Dani and Jamie all meet at the diner in Llandview to go over what they know. While talking amongst themselves Lily takes the map over to the counter and formulates where Babe could have gone from what the group is talking about. While sitting at the counter away from the gang a strange man named Frank takes a liking to Lily and gets her to go with him to his car. Reggie puts a stop to it when he tells the dude to stay away from his sister. Frank doesn't see a family resemblance and Reggie explains they are one of those new blend families you hear about. Reggie tries to explain that Frank is bad news but his sister doesn't understand. He tells her not to go off with anyone she doesn't know or just met. She's confused but agrees. The Scoobies take off with the info Lily's come up with and Jamie stays behind to do his web searching.

JR pays a visit to Zach Slater. He wants the video of what David did to Adam. Slater tells him no and then asks why he would want to find his father. He gives him the long laundry list of offenses that Adam had done while living in Pine Valley right down to what he did to Dixie. JR doesn't care, he wants to know where his father is and why Slater has a file on him and his family. Zach asks why JR left on the steamer ship and talks about Adam as a controlling man who never smiles or has fun or laughs and that JR is ADAM CHANDLER, JR. He asks if that is all he wants to be. JR threatens to get a court order for the video and Zach backs him down telling him they record over the video every 24 hrs. unless something important is needed off the tape. JR becomes even more arrogant. Zach knocks junior down a peg and tells him that if he does anything to Babe or Bianca he has that DVD from when he went off on Babe. And if he thinks he can do whatever he wants well he had an employee who is an ex-cop view it real time so there is a witness of the event and he will testify. He then tells him to get out. JR goes home and calls the PI and demands he find his father and tells him to put a tail on Zach Slater. Zach watches the video of Adam and David.

Bianca meets with Jamie at the diner and she tells him she thought it was crazy Babe staying with JR but now she has a son. Confused Jamie asks what she means and Bianca tells her what she overheard and then there was the part with David asking for a baby boy in Llandview's records. Bianca knows that's what she heard but then starts to second guess herself. She tells him that Babe said she's biding time. The two put the pieces of the puzzle together. Jamie thinks they are very very close to discovering what Babe is hiding. He finds the information on Kevin Buchanan and discovers he has a baby boy.


September 20 & 21, 2004 ~ Monday and Tuesday

Greenlee runs into Ethan outside the hospital. There they talk about the shooting and Kendall and stuff. She believes he did it or was involved in the shooting and even though Ethan holds out an olive branch. He encounters hostility which makes him angry and he heads back to the Pine Cone.

Kendall is happy and relieved that Ryan has awakened from his coma. He tells her to get out and she explains that she's so happy he's awake and that she didn't want him shot and that she's sorry. He rolls his eyes and tells her to leave. Just as Kendall talks about getting a doctor Greenlee comes into the room and Ryan lights up at seeing his wife. Greenlee is so happy he's awake and they two share a moment as Kendall watches in the background. Kendall leaves and heads to the Pine Cone to talk to Ethan who's not there yet so she snoops around his room and finds a case with ER on it. She opens it and finds a rifle. Ethan comes in and wants to know what she's doing there.

Aidan and Anita get closer over the Maria/Zach business and this doesn't sit well with Bobby. Anita explains that they are just friends and Bobby needs to accept it. He tells her he'll try.

Maria asks Zach if Ethan is his son and he denies it at first but then tells her yes he's his son. The two talk about Ethan and he's mother. He explains that she worked for his father as a maid. When he was 17 they had an affair. He went away to school and when he came back she was gone and Alex told his son that she went home to England. Zach had no idea that she was pregnant. Maria reaches out to Zach and the to bond.

At the hospital, Babe, Krystal and David are hot on the trail of Ace Buchanan. David's not sure that Ace is Babe's son. Krystal tells the two the story about meeting Kelly and that she talked about some homeless woman. The three are discussing Babe's son and Bianca hears them talking about the boy and David making a phone call pretending to be Larry Woleck. Bianca asks David why he would pretend to be another doctor. He explains that sometimes doctors do it to help get test results faster when they are both working on the same case. Bianca accepts the explanation but is unsettled by what she sees with the three acting very strangely. Later in his office, David tells Babe not to get her hopes up and Babe tells her father that hope is sometimes a good thing and that you need to take a chance. She questions David as to why he would pretended to be Larry Woleck if he didn't think it could be true.

Jonathan asks Zach to help him with finding who shot Ryan. He tells him the news that Kendall couldn't have done it. He tells Slater that he believes it was Ethan. Zach finds it interesting but will let the police handle it. Jonathan wants the security videos at the time of the shooting. Zach tells him he's not sure it would do any good.

Ryan and Greenlee talk about having a baby and Ryan suggests the name Gunther. Jonathan comes in and is happy his brother and relieve his brother is okay. Jonathan takes off at his brother's urging and Ryan and Greenlee share some quiet time.

Aidan and Bobby go head to head over Anita. Aidan pushes him with his accusations and tells him Anita is his friend and if Bobby hurts her again he'll be dealing with him. Anita enters the solarium and interrupts the two men. They pretend everything is okay. Aidan takes off and Anita tells Bobby he's a good guy. That he's been there for Edmund, Maria and herself. Bobby tells her okay he'll try to get along with Aidan. He has a surprise for Anita when she gets off work. Later when she's ready to leave with Bobby Aidan overhears Bobby tell Anita he's found some great houses for her to look at and she can pick one. Elated Anita is on cloud nine that she and Bobby are going to have a home of their own. The happy couple leave with Aidan looking on.

Ethan comes home to Kendall in his room and she's found his rifle. He asks her if she's going to turn him in because he didn't do it. Kendall tells Ethan she's not and then explains they need each other. A shocked Ethan doesn't understand why she would help him and she explains they are the same person. She sees what he's going through with his identity and the rage that is building in him and explains that she had that rage and then the shooting took place. It was this that made her understand that the rage and not dealing with who she was that made her lose Ryan. She reminds him that he saved her when she walked into the ocean and now it's her turn to save him. She explains that she knows just what he's going through. The two come to and understanding when Ethan decides to stay in Pine Valley.

Bianca runs into the Zach and defends Ethan to him. She understands that Maria thinks he's a great guy but she won't let him or anyone else target Ethan for shooting Ryan. Zach asks if they are close she tells him no but Ethan isn't like Michael and that she won't let him be railroaded because of his name. Zach is surprised by Bianca and tells him he won't either.

The fax David was waiting for comes in and Anita is catching up with Bianca. She's confused that LLandview's paper work would come to PVH and Bianca tells her that David was waiting for the documents. Anita drops them off at David's office where the three had gathered to wait. It turns out that Ace has the same birth date as her son. Babe is elated and more convinced than ever that Ace is her lost son. David tells her they need more evidence than this to prove that Ace Buchanan is her son. The three are discussing all of this when Bianca overhears outside of David's office Babe say she's going to get her son back. Confused Bianca enters and asks what she's talking about.

September 17, 2004 ~ Friday

Jamie returns from Llandview with questions for Babe. He finds Babe in the nursery and quizzes her about the real reason she's staying with JR. She assures him that everything she's doing is for her baby and that is all he needs to know. He tells her he went through her purse and saw the brochure for Landview and drove there to find out what she was up too. She explains she took a wrong turn and that was all. After much prodding and not getting anywhere Jamie leaves to find the truth.

Krystal decides to take a trip to Llandview herself to visit Kelly Buchanan and try to determine if Babe really is crazy or if she's on to something. She quickly gains Kelly's confidence when she explains she's working to get her son back with his Mama. Kelly eventually starts to cry and then babble about the homeless woman (the story Paul gave his sister when he handed over Ace was that he was the son of some homeless woman who would have been an awful mother). Krystal's not sure what she was going on about but starts to feel that her Baby doll is on to something. She gets Kelly to promise she will not tell anyone about their meeting because it could jeopardize getting Ace back with his Mama. Kelly agrees and leaves the patio.

Kendall is relieve but confused with the news from Aidan she didn't shoot Ryan. He then turns the suspicion on Ethan. He denies any involvement but Aidan explains that Ryan was shot with a high caliber rifle and asks how long Ethan was the expert marksmen at his shooting club.

Simone stops by to check on Ryan and Greenlee. She won't leave his side but with Jonathan's help Simone gets Greenlee to take a break. They run into Kendall, Aidan and Ethan in the solarium. Kendall explains to Greenlee that she didn't shoot Ryan and Aidan confirms the information and points the finger in Ethan's direction. Jonathan goes after Mr. Ramsey Cambias but is held back by Aidan. Ethan leaves and Kendall tries to get Greenlee to let her see Ryan. She explains that she's done trying to ruin their lives and that she just needs to tell him she's sorry and she'll be out of their lives for good. Greenlee tells her no and further explains it doesn't matter that her gun had blanks in it the fact is she said all the things she said because she wanted to hurt Ryan.

Maria and Zach discuss Michael and she helps him see that Michael was a bad man and he wants to only remember the boy he left behind and she understands that but it was Michael as an adult. Zach stops by Ryan's room and sees Ethan standing beside Ryan and Zach queries what he's doing there. Ethan quips he's there to finish the job. He then tells Zach the information that Aidan has uncovered and that he's the prime suspect. Livid Zach offers to get Ethan the best criminal attorney to which Ethan tells him he wants nothing from him! Zach meets Maria as he's leaving Ryan's room and tells her that the townies are trying to railroad Ethan just as they did Michael and he won't let it happen again. Maria asks if Ethan could be his son. Zach "Alex" denies he is and Maria points out he could be acting this way because he feels he could be Ethan's father.

Ethan runs into Greenlee outside and the two chat. Jonathan heads off in a huff and Kendall sneaks into Ryan's room where she pours out her heart and an apology. She begs her former lover to wake up and he does but he tells her to get out.


September 16, 2004 ~ Thursday

Kendall gets harassed at the hospital while she waits on word from Ryan by Aidan who's not happy about the company she's keeping these days, one Ethan Ramsey Cambias. Kendall tells Aidan to stop but he continues. Later Aidan receives a call about the bullet that shot Ryan it wasn't from the gun that Kendall used. An upset Kendall tells him know she fired the gun there was a flash and Ryan fell. Aidan explains that the shot was fired from a rifle and that there were blanks in her gun. Kendall is relieved but still frightened for Ryan. Aidan then directs suspicion on Ethan who was unaccounted for when Ryan was shot. Kendall defends her new friend. Ethan and Kendall are becoming closer.

Bianca heads to the Chandler Mansion to see Babe and Bess but she finds JR with Bess instead. She tries to reach out to the JR she knew when they were kids. She tries to get him to remember all of the stuff their parents put them through when they were getting divorced and reminds them that's what bonded them together as friends in the first place. JR tells Bianca that he knows she's friends with Babe but that Babe will hurt her too just as she's hurt him and that only then will she understand. Bianca is frustrated she's not getting through. Elsewhere in the mansion Babe and Jamie are talking about what is going on with her. He's confused and wants answers. Babe tells Jamie she doesn't have any for him she's doing what's best for HER BABY and he should understand. Jamie becomes confused even more because Bess is fine now and they are together. Babe tells him again that he must understand that everything she's doing is for HER BABY and she asks him to stop asking questions. Jamie spills Babe's water and when she goes to get Winnie he rifles through her purse and finds a brochure for Landview. Jamie makes a hasty departure and heads off to Llandview. Later in the Chandler study, Bianca and Babe have a heart to heart about the craziness of Babe returning to JR and Babe tells her it's okay. Bianca also asks about what Babe meant when she said they would both get their happy endings. Babe explains that it will all happen in time. Babe tells Bianca she loves her and that it will all work out.

Paul Cramer has come to town to spy on Babe. He's nervous since her visit but Paul isn't alone in the Chandler Garden David is with him and surprises Paul. When Paul's feeble excuse as to why he's skulking in the garden doesn't wash, David puts the screws to him. Paul tells David he wanted to see how the other Baby made out because he carries alot of guilt over Bianca Montgomery's lost child. David turns the heat up on Paul making him more nervous. He also informs Paul that something good came out of all of the pain caused. He's Babe's Daddy! Paul takes off and David begins to believe Babe's theory about Mr. Paul Cramer.

At Tad's house he tries to convince Krystal they would be great together and that they can elope if that's what she wants. He loves her and wants to marry her! Krystal wants to give it some time and later when she can tell him everything if he still wants to marry her she will elope with him. Tad is confused and relents to the fact that Krystal doesn't want to marry him because she's holding on to a secret. Will Tad discover this secret?


September 15, 2004 ~ Wednesday

David and Krystal are convinced that Babe is off her rocker. She explains what she knows, Paul was at the crash site he hides her son in the bushes or somewhere and arranges for the child to be picked up later. He stages the crash and when JR and Adam threaten him he tells everyone that I had a girl and gives us Miranda. She goes on further to say that Kevin Buchanan's wife is Paul's sister and he wanted Babe to leave Landview right away...he was nervous. David isn't convinced. Babe asks him if he remembers Leora and if he saw his baby would he know it was her? He tells yes, of course but that's different. She tells him no it isn't because she remember everything about him right down to his dimple. Babe also explains why she stayed with JR and kept Bess a secret from Bianca. Last time she didn't have a plan with JR and this time she does but she needs time. Krystal understands her daughters wish to have her baby alive but she's not completely sold. She assures her parents she's not going crazy. Krystal and David go to the study to talk and Babe tells Bess a story about the prince and the princess and how they lived happily ever after.

Bianca visits Myrtle at the boarding house and as they are catching up Ethan Ramsey Cambias shows up looking for a place to rent. Bianca introduces Ethan Cambias and Myrtle practically throws him out. Bianca stands up for the young man and tells Myrt that he's okay. Discussion goes further in explaining that Myrtle doesn't want another Cambias in her house and that this is where Bianca was raped by Michael. Ethan apologizes for not knowing and prepares to leave but Bianca tells him to stay. She talks to Myrtle and assures her he's nothing like Michael and she should give him a chance. Myrtle agrees to rent him a room and heads off to get the paperwork. When they are alone Ethan asks Bianca how she can be in the same place that Michael raped her and she tells him she loves Myrtle and has worked on what happened to her. Impressed the young Cambias tells Binx how he is frustrated about not being able to prove his heritage. She sends him to visit Zach Slater. Ethan decides not to take the room at Myrtle's and thanks her for her graciousness.

Edmund and Aidan discuss getting the goods on Zach Slater and they think he is linked to Ryan's shooting and finding out what happened to the real Zach Slater. Maria over hears what they are saying and enters the solarium at the hospital. Edmund leaves for home and Maria asks Aidan to get Edmund to stop this investigation into Zach. Aidan tells her Edmund will do what he wants and that maybe she shouldn't try so hard to protect Zach. After Aidan leaves she heads over to the Condo. Zach has purchased Michael's old condo in hopes of reconnecting with his dead brother. Maria asks Zach to stop this with Michael. He shows her a picture of when they are young men and she tells him that the boy in that picture grew up to be a horrible man. Michael's ghost talks to Zach as Maria continues to say that he did do those horrible things. Zach asks how she knows that Bianca really was raped. Maria tells him that she knows because after the rape she counseled Bianca about her pregnancy. She tells him she wasn't so sure she wanted to keep the baby at first but things changed. He doesn't give up on the fact that it could have been consensual sex and Maria tells him the story about her own sister's (Julia) rape and she knows what destruction of a person looks like first hand and Bianca was raped. After Maria leaves Michael's ghost continues to haunt Zach and asks how he can believe his enemies over him. Zach marinates on everything Maria said. Ethan pops by and asks Zach for help in proving he's a Cambias but Zach has nothing to offer him but a picture of Michael and Alex when they were young.

Maggie and Jonathan are getting to know each other better and decide to have something to eat. Maggie burns the food so he suggests going out to dinner and Maggie is in for that. But he swoops her in a passionate kiss instead and when the two are making out on the sofa Bianca comes in to get the rest of her things and drop off the key. She's unsettled at seeing Maggie liplocked with Jonathan. Almost immediately Bianca and Jonathan spare over Ryan and Kendall. Maggie breaks it up and seems to take Jonathan's side. He asks her for a rain check leaving Bianca and Maggie alone. Maggie is distant with her gal pal and Bianca apologizes for the outburst. She collects her belongings and heads back to her new home which was Greenlee's old home, the loft.


September 14, 2004 ~ Tuesday

Anita tells Maria that Aidan told her about her relationship with Zach. A frustrated Maria shares with her sister. When Aidan arrives she lashes out at him and tells him to leave Zach alone. She then accuses her ex of being jealous. Anita chastises her sister who realizes she's step over the bounds and apologizes to Aidan. Maria takes off and Anita and Aidan share a moment discussing the situation.

JR arrives at Tad's place and tries to take Bess. Bianca tells him he'll take the baby over her dead body. He gloats that he will have his daughter and just as David is about to burst his bubble with the truth about "Bess" Babe arrives home from Llandview happy that she's found her baby and is ready to make her announcement. David and Krystal are relieved she's arrived in the nick of time to tell her story so David doesn't have too. But alas, Babe doesn't reveal the truth about Bess/Miranda to Bianca and JR. She instead tells the room that she's staying with JR. Everyone is upset and Jamie takes Babe outside to talk some sense into her but she's not listening and takes Bess from Bianca and she and JR head home. JR is confused because he does remind her that he hates her. Once at home she puts Bess to bed and unsettles JR even more that he goes to the study for a drink and to try and locate Adam. Liza stops by and he accuses her of helping Babe. She tells him no she's looking for Adam. JR tells Liza he can't find him and wonders if she's heard from him. She tells him no. He then tells her what Babe is up to and Liza tells him that's what Chandler Wives do when challenged. They dig in for the fight. By the time Liza leaves JR is completely unhinged.

While at Michael's condo Zach looks at a photo of him and Michael when they were younger. Michael appears and the two have a conversation. When Zach asks Michael what kind of man he grew up to be he tells him yes he was a womanizer but he wasn't a horrible person like they said and he didn't deserve to be put in the city dump to rot. Zach asks about Bianca and Michael tells him he would have loved his daughter Miranda and wouldn't have been a father like theirs. Zach believes someone in Pine Valley must pay for Michael's murder. He can't see his brother being the animal they said he was because he knew him.

Krystal tells Tad she needs to see if Babe is alright and David tells her he's going to which doesn't sit well with Tad. When they arrive at the Chandler Mansion the find Babe in the nursery and she's got news. Her baby boy is alive and she held him and kissed him. Her parents think she's lost her mind.


September 13, 2004 ~ Monday

Babe spends some time getting to know Kevin Buchanan and his lovely son Ace. She's drawn so much to the little boy but she doesn't know why. That is until Paul Cramer comes into the room and sits down opposite them and glares. Kevin asks if she knows the guy and she said no he just looks familiar and Kevin declares how he wished he didn't know him but unfortunately he's the soon to be ex-brother-in-law. This makes Babe think. When Kevin must leave she hesitates to give back the baby but she does and when Kevin gives Babe his name she introduces herself as Bella Carey. Paul immediately comes to the table and starts quizzing Babe as to why she's in his town. She explains she got lost while out for a drive but she can see how nervous Paul is and starts to make him more uncomfortable with her questions.

Maggie stops by the Martin's to see how Jamie is and runs into Bianca. She tries to make a hasty exit but Bianca tells her gal pal they need to talk about what happened. She explains about the JR set up and that they were both clothed. Maggie understands and it's okay because she's found someone she likes and perhaps her sexual identity crisis will be over. She tells Bianca about Jonathan Lavery and that she likes him. Bianca is shocked at first but covers her feelings. Maggie asks about Lena and she tells her that she are fine, that they are fine. Bianca wishes her friend the best and doesn't want her ducking her calls anymore. Maggie agrees and goes to see Jonathan.

Tad proposes to Krystal who wants to say yes but tells him now is not the time. He tries to convince her and just as he thinks she's going to say yes David walks in needing to talk to Krystal about Babe. Tad tries to usher the mad Doctor away but he's not going. Krystal asks Tad to leave them alone for a minute so she can talk to David. When alone David wants to know why Babe hasn't told Bianca the truth yet. He had just come from talking to her. Krystal explains that Babe needed to go to the church that she's helping reconstruct for her baby boy. David also asks what's going on with Martin and Krystal tells him about the marriage proposal. David freaks out and reminds her that Tad might not want to marry her when the truth comes out. When Tad comes back for his answer he thinks is yes Krystal tells him now isn't the right time for marriage discussion. Tad blames Hayward for her taking a 180 on her answer. Bianca and Jamie come back into the room and Jamie has trouble with a fussy Bess. Bianca takes the baby and sings her a song and she settles down. David asks what the song was and Bianca explains she sang it to Miranda when she was pregnant. David decides not to wait for Babe and is going to tell Bianca the truth!

Greenlee calls the police on Kendall who still at the hospital waiting for news. Both Greenlee and Jonathan lash out at Kendall and tell her she'll get what she deserves. Jackson tries to get his grieving daughter to understand she's innocent and Greenlee tells him it's typical that he takes Kendall and Erica's side. Jack tries to explain there are no sides. Derek arrives to question Kendall and Greenlee insists that he arrest her. Jackson reminds Derek the incident didn't happen in PV and Derek reminds the ex-councellor that he's not a lawyer anymore. Still Jackson pushes that Kendall gave a statement to the police that are investigating the shooting and she doesn't have to talk to him. Frustrated Derek leaves but he'll be back!


September 10, 2004 ~ Friday

Things aren't looking good for JR who is left behind at Oak Haven with Dr. Hayward. The mad doctor isn't thrilled with how Mr. Chandler has been treating his daughter or granddaughter these days and decides it's time to have a heart to heart with his son-in-law. A straight jacketed JR has no choice. David hints at what has happened to Adam and the fact that JR has not allies. JR kicks David in the gut and makes a break for it only to be dragged back by David and an orderly. When David leaves JR convinces the orderly with the use of him wealth to make some phone calls for him.

Babe discovers she can't tell Bianca that she's holding Miranda not "Bess". She heads to the patio with Krystal in tow. Krystal asks her daughter if she would like her to tell Bianca the truth about Bess. Babe tells her know and that she needs to go to the church she's rebuilding for her son. Jamie comes outside just as he does he stops Babe and she insists she's okay but she needs some time alone. Jamie tells Krystal he's worried about about Babe. Jamie and Bianca talk about Babe's odd behavior as Bianca holds Bess. Jamie wonders aloud, as does Bianca, what it would be like if Bess we're theirs respectively.

Babe heads to the special place that she has for her lost son. She's looking for a sign. The Reverend shows her the sketch of the stain glass window they are having made. She's touched by what she sees and mourns her baby boy. As she heads back to Pine Valley she gets lost and ends up in Landview and runs into Kevin and "Ace" Buchanan. She helps Kevin with the restless baby and doesn't know it but she's holding her own child.

JR gets a visit from Livia and Derek. Livia tells JR that she's representing Babe against him in the divorce and custody hearing. Just as JR has used practically he last threat against them Palmer and Opal show up. Palmer demands that Derek release his grandnephew from the straight jacket. JR gloats that his Uncle Palmer is there to help him. Opal questions as to whether it's a good idea to release the boy because they did put him in it for a reason. Palmer isn't amused. Livia explains to Palmer what JR has been up to of late. She tells him how he hid Bess here at Oak Haven away from Babe. Palmer is disgusted and asks JR how he could do this, in this place where Adam put Dixie. JR defends himself and attacks Babe for being a horrible mother and a hick. Palmer reminds JR that he was once a hick as was Dixie. JR tells Palmer that Babe is not Dixie and Palmer tells the lad that unfortunately he is exactly like Adam. Opal reminds JR how Pete Cooney feels about Adam Chandler. Palmer leaves telling Derek that he should hold JR at Oak Haven until he grows a heart. JR insists that Derek release him from the straight jacket. Derek does but replaces it with handcuffs. JR is outraged and Derek tells him the charge is attempted murder of his wife. JR tells him the charges one stick and Derek explains he doesn't care. JR is going to jail tonight.

David laments with the higher power Babe's lost son and that she should have to weather this sorrow. He doesn't care what happens to him but his daughter is a different story. A storm begins in Pine Valley with wind and rain.



September 9, 2004 ~ Thursday

Bianca heads to the casino to confront Zach and learns little from the handsome stranger. Maria after talking to Anita about Zach and skirting the real course of their relationship heads off to see Zach. She arrives as Bianca asks Zach just who he really is and Maria covers for him saying she knew him years ago when she was Maureen and he's a good man. Bianca's not as convinced of his good qualities and leaves. Zach wants to know why she covered for him and she talks around the issue.

Babe and Jamie confront JR at the mansion about setting them up and he gloats. Just as Jamie and JR are tangling with each other JR gets a call from Beverly to rush to Oakhaven. Panicked JR rushes off and Jamie's cell phone rings it's Tad telling the young couple that Bess if fine and they are bringing her home. Relieved Babe realizes what she needs to do. When Tad and Krystal return with Bess Babe spends some time with her "daughter" before telling Krystal to call Bianca. Bianca rushes to Tad's place and relieve as well to see the baby happy and healthy and reunited with her mother. Bianca tells Babe that she and Bess will never be apart again. Babe looks at Krystal for support and then tells Bianca that she and Bess will have to part and explains she needs to tell her something.

JR rushes to Oakhaven but instead of finding Beverly and Bess he arrives at an empty room. Save one. David is about to have some fun with junior. He puts JR in a straight Jacket and watches him squirm.


September 8, 2004 ~ Wednesday

Ryan struggles for life while Greenlee and Jackson wait for word from Joe about his surgery. Jonathan storms into the waiting room wanting to know what happened when Kendall rushes in with Erica and Bianca in tow. Jackson angry at Erica asks what Kendall is doing there. Greenlee lashes out at Kendall telling her, like everything she ever does she's gone too far. Bianca talks to her sister in another room trying to figure out what happened. Kendall reiterates she loves Ryan and would never want him dead. Bianca listens to what happened once more and comes to one conclusion that the center piece in this whole tragedy is ZACH SLATER.

Erica and Jackson fight about their daughters. Erica tells him she won't abandon Kendall. Jackson's not so sure Kendall is innocent but Erica tells him she wouldn't do something like this to Ryan she loves him. Jackson's not 100% sure but feels that Kendall may have been set up and he's going to find out what happened.

Simone stops by the hospital to check on Greenlee and Ryan. Greenlee asks how the office is and Simone changes the subject. Greenlee asks again what's going on and Simone tells her boss that there was a slight problem with the new Enchantment fragrance. Simone tells her that she's got it covered and the product will ship on time and heads back to the office.

Jamie and Babe go to a shack to wait for a thug who has info on Babe. JR waits at the mansion for Adam but it isn't Adam who comes through the door...it's David. Just as David has him on the ropes Tad come barreling in with a bluff that doesn't work. JR checks on Bess and calls the bluff one upping Tad. David angry at Tad gets into a verbal sparing after his bluff fails. Krystal breaks it up and reminds the two that they are looking for Bess. Krystal tells Tad what David allegedly did with Adam. Tad gets a chuckle out the mental picture of Adam in a crate and agrees to work with David. He then tells them that he knows where Bess is she's at Oak Haven somewhere and he's got a plan but he needs David's help. Tad pretends to be a crazy person with David's help to be committed to Oak Haven so they can look for Bess. David's not so sure that Bess is there but Tad reminds them that Adam donates so much money to the institution that he practically owns it and it makes sense that Bess is there. David agrees and they go in search of Bess at Oak Haven.

The thug accurately describes Bess's pj's and blanket and Babe gives him some money with a promise of more money later when he comes back with her daughter. Jamie threatens the thug and tells him he'd better be on the level. The thug leaves saying he'll be back with the baby. Babe anxiously waits with Jamie at the shack.

Jonathan sees Greenlee crying and asks what has happened to Ryan and she tells him that Joe just told her that he's made it through surgery and is critical but he's alive. The two hug and wait for Ryan to wake up.



September 7, 2004 ~ Tuesday

When we left our residents of the valley they were at Zach Slater's casino gambling and having fun, or not, to raise money for the Miranda Montgomery Foundation. Mr. Slater was holding a murder mystery to cap off the event. When Bianca signed off on this truly tasteless game (held on the anniversary of Michael Cambias' death) everyone agreed to play. Turns out that Ryan is the victim and Kendall the murder. Kendall having been off her rocker of late is elated and heads to the gazebo to confront her victim and is elated that it is Ryan. This she feels will give her closure. She shoots Ryan with what she believes are blanks until Greenlee touches her husband and her hand is covered in blood. Also of importance is that Zach Slater is really Alexander Cambias, Jr.

Segway to Monday's show...Ryan is rushed to the hospital with Greenlee and Jackson in tow. Kendall wants to rush after Ryan because he has to know she didn't mean the awful hateful things she said to him. Erica and Bianca hold Kendall back and as she tells them what happened she realizes she told Greenlee and Ryan she wanted him dead and that Greenlee will tell this to the police. Erica tries to calm her daughter down and tell her she can't leave until the police arrive.

Maria and Zach talk about their past and how they kept things from each other. Maria tries to explain to Zach that Ryan didn't kill anyone and that Bianca killed Michael in self defense. Zach has convinced himself that Michael was the true victim and it was to these people. Maria also explains that when she kept things from him it was because she had not recall of her life before but he knew exactly who he was and what he was doing. She asks him if he'll tell the police that he is Alexander Cambias, Jr? They head out and run into Edmund and Aidan who have been questioning Ethan Ramsey who has claimed to be the Cambias heir. Edmund confronts Zach about his lies. He wants to know who he really is and why he's really here messing with the folks of Pine Valley. He tells him that the real Zach Slater was best friend of Michael Cambias and not to make it more mysterious but that he died 10 years ago mysteriously. Edmund asks Zach Slater what his connection to Michael is and what happened to the real Zach Slater? Zach tells everyone that he has no connection to Michael Cambias.

Greenlee rallies at her husband's side and wills him to fight. Ryan has a dream that it is Kendall by his side and she's keeping Greenlee from him and then he sees Michael Cambias. Everyone waits to see if Ryan survives surgery!

August 27, 2004 ~ Friday

A Week In Review:

Zach hosts a "Miranda Montgomery Fund" hoopla for the PV Residents with an agenda of his own. He goes through pictures of all of the people he's invited and it seems that all of the major players in PV are on Mr. Slater's agenda.

Jamie is recovering from being knifed in prison but good news for Brooke and Tad he's going to be okay and all of the Charges against Jamie are dropped. JR is still on his rampage to get Babe out of their lives blaming her for what happened to Jamie. Reggie, Maggie and Dani play junior detective to try and snag JR in his lies. Babe was delusional that JR was the evil dark lord but finally she comes to her senses and Bianca and Babe put a plan into works with the aid of Zach Slater to snag JR once and for all. Their plan is to appear naked in bed making love when JR comes into the room. He's shocked and angry and blurts out everything not knowing he's being taped. Maggie comes in to witness Babe and Bank in bed together and takes off thinking the worst. Jamie arrives with Tad not far behind and although at first Jamie has JR believing he's on his side he give Babe a little look that she immediately understands that he believes her. After all is said and Babe plays back the beginning of the tape for JR and Adam she's about to tell JR that Bess is really Miranda when she gets a panicked phone call from Krystal that Bess and the nanny are missing. Adam makes a call on his cell phone to Beverly but won't let Babe talk to her. The Chandlers are proud of their coup. Babe threatens to kill JR and Adam realizes he can use that to his advantage.

David and Krystal grow closer over Babe's ordeal and work together to find Bess. Jamie stays with Babe and Bianca to comfort Babe. Tad also goes in search of information to the whereabouts of Bess and puts Adam on notice. He also tells JR that Dixie would have been crush to see what he's doing. JR lashes back at his stepfather. Tad gives up on the newest version of Adam.

Maggie in a frenzy of confusion stops at BJ's for food but they are closing. Jonathan intercedes and helps the damsel in distress. The two spend quality time together and flirt with one another. When Jonathan asks what's got Maggie frazzled she flashes back to Bianca in bed with Babe and when she comes out of her flash she tells him nothing. The two grow closer and Mags gives him her digits.

Maria and Edmund make strides in their relationship since the accident and get horizontal. But not before he discovers the truth about Maria and Zach from when she was Maureen. The two work out their problems...for the moment. Meanwhile Aidan's all about discovering what Zach is really up to. He runs into Anita when he's searching Slater's office. The two fight their growing attraction for one another and agree to be friends.



July 15, 2004 ~ Thursday

Jamie gets a whack to the face for telling Babe that he believes it was JR that drugged her. JR comes out and asks what's going on and Babe tells him what Jamie said and JR tells his wife that he and Jamie need some time alone. Alone Jamie lays it all out on the carpet for JR and his strange behavior, his talking to Seth at the record store, the phone call telling him that there was an emergency at SOS so that he left his date and rushed over to find when Babe was getting handsy with JR he bailed leaving them alone. JR tells his brother he's sick and wrong. Why would he do such a thing? Jamie continues that JR probably thought that Babe and Jamie would have a repeat performance. JR balks at this thought and James continues that it would be a way for JR to get a divorce from Babe and sole custody of Bess. JR blows him off and then Jamie drops the bomb that Seth gave up the info that JR paid him to leave town. Jamie tries to reach out to JR.

Krystal and David go back to the Chandler Mansion to see Babe to find her upset. David finds out that it has to do with Jamie and JR and demands to know what's wrong. Krystal tries to defuse the situation but David is concerned about his daughter. JR comes into the room and gets angry that David is there. The verbally spare as Krystal gets David to leave. JR asks Babe to come to the terrace. There he turns the tables on Jamie and makes it look as though he gave Babe the drug. Babe is enraged and asks why? Jamie tries to get Babe to see the truth but she's all about JR. Jamie leaves and Babe goes into the house and JR smiles that he's won again but that smile is interrupted by Babe's new Daddy. David applauds JR's act and tells him he's not buying it and that if anything happens to Babe it's him he'll deal with and no one else!

Ryan takes off from Fusion to look for Greenlee only to discover a wonderful surprise in the park. Greens has arranged a romantic dinner. The two talk about their prenup and sex skirting the issue but becoming closer.

Meanwhile, at Fusion Kendall is freaking out and gets Jonathan to help her. He feels for her and tries to help but when Kendall suggests spending the night together he tells her that she dropped the ball because he believe she really needed help until the suggestion of going home with her. He's not in for the manipulation and she's lost her touch. Jonathan leaves and Kendall is angry.

Bianca and Maggie go back to their apartment talking about poor Babe her baby is kidnapped twice. Maggie hands Bianca an envelope that was on the floor and it's from a travel agent. Lena's sent a ticket to Poland. Bianca calls her love and they talk of her coming for the summer. When she gets off the phone she tells Maggie that Lena would like her to come to Poland for the summer Maggie tells her gal pal that there is nothing to stop her from going. She doesn't have summer school, her mom's in rehab, and Kendall is on the warpath and needs to work things out for herself. Bianca agrees and calls the airline but can't make the reservation. Maggie wonders why and Bianca explains she can't do it. She feels like she can't go. She loves Lena but something is keeping her in Pine Valley. Maggie tells her that maybe she can't go because her heart is in Pine Valley or with someone she loves. She suggests it's Babe but Bianca tells her no. Jamie bursts in telling the two girls that Babe and Bess are in trouble and they need their help!

July 13 & 14, 2004 ~ Tuesday and Wednesday

JR snags Bess and watches as Babe goes crazy because she can't find her baby. She asks Bianca and Maggie if they've taken her and they say no. JR the hero comes back with the baby saying he saw some guy taking off with her and rescued her. He makes Babe out to be a horrible mother and they go to the to police station with the cops.

Speaking of cops Derek busts Seth, Jamie, Danielle and Reggie on drug charges. The youths try to explain without telling exactly why they are with the known dealer but it is to no avail since Derek is only seeing red where Dani and Reggie are concerned. They are all taken to headquarters for processing.

Kendall tries to solicit Bobby Warner into seducing Greenlee but he's not going for it. Greenlee tries to find out more about Jonathan by little quizzes about where he's been and what he's been up too. Ryan has his hands full running the company Cambias with all of the bickering going on.

At the police station Jamie tells Babe he's worried about her. When he discovers what happened in the park he worries more. JR gets angry that his brother is with Seth and tries to score information as to what Seth told him. Jackson shows up and wants to know if Reggie went vigilante on Seth because of his mother. Dani looks on. Reggie assures his dad that it has nothing to do with his mother that he just didn't want that junk out on the street and that he was helping Jamie. Tad ends his tryst with Krystal when he gets the call that Jamie's been arrested again. As he's leaving his house David is there about to knock. He's looking for Krystal he saw her car in Tad's driveway. Leery of Dr. Hayward Tad asks if Krystal will be okay. She says okay he leaves.

David and Krystal take a walk and he asks if she will help him get closer to Babe and be a better father to her. Krystal wants to know why she should help him. He tells her he owes her that. She asks how he can keep this secret from Bianca since he's known her longer and he tells her because he wants a daughter. He then breaks down and tells her he has nothing in his life and he wants this. Krystal sees a different side of David and agrees to help him.

Back at the station the Chandler's head home but Babe is wondering all the time if it was JR who drugged her. While the adults are talking Dani sneaks a phone call to Aunt Livie who shows up at Dani and Reggie's lawyer. She threatens to sue the department because of Derek's vendetta against Reggie. Jackson is concerned that if Reggie is booked it will violate his parole and he'll go to juvie. Livie and Derek talk in another room and she tells him this is wrong and he knows it. These aren't bad kids and that if he doesn't stop he'll lose Danielle forever. She gets him to be reasonable and tells everyone there will be no charges against them just Seth.

While at the Mansion Babe quizzes JR who skirts every question with a legitimate answer but Babe's not so sure. He explains his connection to Seth and she wanders if he's doing drugs again. JR tells her no he's not. He also makes up a story that maybe it was Seth getting back at him but spike her drink. She tells her husband she doesn't remember seeing him there that night and JR Explains further that perhaps it was someone who worked for him. Babe wants to make love and JR pulls away. She confronts him with it and the fact that he said he had an important meeting yet he was in the park to rescue Bess? He tells her he was getting in his car when he saw the guy with Bess.

Jamie tells his dad he can't go home with him it's important he take care of something first. Tad realizes it's about Babe and JR and wants Jamie to confide in him but he tell his dad he can't right now. Tad tells him okay and Jamie takes off for the mansion.

July 12, 2004 ~ Monday

JR wakes up with his arms around Babe and hating every minute of it. Babe talks her hubby into spending the day with her and Bess. When he's distant Babe wants answers. Well one is David being accepted into their family when she knows he destroyed his home. Then of course there is the fact Jamie told JR that Babe was macking with some strange dude. How can he trust her? She thinks that maybe it was that guy that drugged her drink. JR tells her forget it when she talks about finding him and having him questioned about the episode. JR asks if Babe can do something to prove she cares for him and that's to dump Bianca from their lives. Babe tells him she can't do that.

Maggie helps Bianca on the anniversary of her rape. She plans a day to keep her bestest gal pal distracted. They attend the Miranda Montgomery run which is used to raise money for Miranda's Charity. When they are in the park they see JR, Babe and Bess and ask if they want to join them. Babe decides to say no knowing how JR feels and then he doubles back and tells Mags and Binx sure they'll join them. When Bianca and Maggie go to the MMR JR gets a phone call supposedly from Liza tell him he's needed. He leaves Babe and Bess in the park. He runs into a child who's shoe is untied and devises a plan to get at Babe. When the little kid is distracting Babe he takes Bess. A frantic Babe searches for her baby but to know avail as her psychotic husband watches in the distance with Bess safe and sound.

Greenlee and Ryan survive the night of sleeping in the same bed together. He talks of a could shower she talks of going to Fusion to see if Kendall has turned over her shares. When they arrive at Fusion they find Jonathan, Simone and Kendall. Ryan isn't shocked when they discover that Kendall hasn't signed over her shares. Greenlee is angry and wants to know what's going on. Ryan continues to be cool headed. Instead of signing over the shares Kendall has come up with a new bold campaign. She'll need help and Jonathan volunteers. Ryan asks his brother if he's really up to it and he says yes no problem. So begins the new dynamic duo Kendall and Jonathan.

Jamie is pretty sure that JR and Seth are in cahoots to hurt Babe and Reggie is in to aid his pal. The set up a meeting with Seth with Reggie as pointman. When Danielle, who shows up at the wrong time with the news she's talked to her father and worked things out with her being able to see Reggie, messes everything up and Seth Jamie takes off James tracks him down and wants to know what his connection to JR is and he spills the news about him being paid to leave town. Danielle shows up again allowing Seth a chance to escape and to be recaptured by Jamie. Just as Seth throws his drugs on the ground because Reggie didn't want him selling to the kids Derek Crashes in to discover Seth being held by Jamie and Reggie and Danielle holding a fist full of drugs.

July 8 & 9, 2004 ~ Thursday and Friday

JR doesn't appear to have all his oars in the water these days and is taking some really bad advice from Daddy Dearest. He wants to step up his plan against Babe. He wants a divorce and sole custody of his daughter.

Jamie looks for Reggie to help him and finds the lad and his lady love all romantic and getting jiggy with it. Dani's not thrill with the interruption but Reggie sees that Jamie is upset and wants to aid his bud any way he can. Jamie explains the whole story to Reggie after Aunt Livia comes looking for Dani to take her back to the Fourth Picnic. He tells him what happened with Babe and that JR's been acting weird and saying weird comments to him. Reggie tells him it's probably nothing but when Jamie tells him that JR was hanging around that Seth guy Reggie is all ears. He tells him that he thinks maybe JR slipped Babe something but he needs to prove it. He doesn't want to believe it but what else can he think. Reggie and Jamie decide to make a plan to get Seth to dish the info they need.

Bianca is happy to see that David has embraced Babe as his daughter. He promises to try to be a good father and to protect her. Krystal is relieved that David is going to keep the secret that Bess is really Miranda. JR and Adam are less than thrilled by Babe's newest branch of the family tree. Babe takes David to meet his granddaughter. Krystal wants to know what David is up too and he tells her he already lost one daughter he doesn't want to lose another one. When Babe calls him Dr. Hayward he suggest that Dad might be over doing it and that she call him David. The two have a moment. Babe is grateful that David is her father and that she will be able to keep Bess even though he knows how David feels about Bianca. He stands by his new daughter. She asks him what made him change his mind. He tells her it doesn't matter.

Before David leaves the mansion he hears a little of what Adam and JR are talking about and puts the two would be schemers on notice that he will do everything to protect his daughter. He knows something suspicious was going on with Babe's episode and he's keeping an eye out for JR. He also tells them get used to having him around more. When Tad tells David to cut JR some slack David tells him he'd better watch out after his own son because things aren't what the appear. Tad makes a face.

Maria fights her attraction to Zach. The two spend some time together thanks to Bobby not showing up right away. Bobby shares his great news with Anita that he's now on the east coast and that he's scored big. Anita admonishes her husband for not even calling her in weeks. She also drops the bombshell that she's filed for divorce. Bobby is blindsided and after talking to her realizes he can't fight it any more and tells Anita he'll go along with the divorce. Is Anita having second thoughts?

When Bobby shows and sees Zach he asks to be transferred somewhere else to which Mr. Slater says no. Bobby tells him his woes and Zach tells him not to give up.

Greenlee goes to Kendall with the papers to sign over her shares to them so she can leave like she promised. Kendall goats her partner with tales of Ryan to which Greenlee chuckles. She tells Kendall that he is really done with her. And that Ryan was on his way to be with her forever because he loved her and she destroyed that by sleeping with his brother. Greenlee leaves the papers with Kendall and relishes that it was Kendall alone who sabotaged her romance with Ryan.

Jonathan and Ryan have a bonding moment. Ryan apologizes for taking off and leaving him and Erin behind. He asks how Erin is and he tells her she's in school and doing well. Jonathan asks if Ryan's heard from Braedon to which he tells his little brother no he hasn't. Ryan is impressed with Jonathan's collegiate success and offers him a job at Cambias. Later when Greenlee arrives home she gives Ryan an update that Kendall wants her lawyers to look over the papers. She's not sure Kendall will leave like she promised. Greenlee forgetting that Jonathan is staying with them heads to what was her bedroom. She covers by saying she was wondering if he needed a blanket. Mr. and Mrs. Lavery head to bed in the same room. Uncomfortable about it all Ryan digs at Greenlee when she comes out of the bathroom wearing a little jammie. He's having trouble with his libido and controlling it.

June - July 7, 2004 ~ The long and the short of it update

JR's hopes of getting rid of Babe start with a plan to slip her a "Mickey" and pass it off as casual drug use. That is until Mrs. Chandler, Jr. OD's and Jamie performs CPR on his sister-in-law until the paramedics arrive. JR's plan for his uninhibited wife to go all sleazy cheater goes awry. He pops out of his hiding place behind the dumpster to show his "concern" for his ailing wife. Babe gets shocked by newest Daddy in the Valley Dr. Dave and survives. David tells his recovering daughter that it is his intention to tell Bianca the truth about Miranda/Bess. Krystal tries to get David to be paternal but he's still opting on telling Bianca. He and Babe have a bonding session at the hospital and he realizes his daughter isn't really a bad person she just doesn't want to lose another child.

Later David gets a visit from Bianca at his cabin telling him he's lucky to have such a great person as Babe to be his daughter. She also tells him not to hide in his cabin away from everyone and to later have regrets and be bitter. She suggests he give Babe a chance.

Jamie's not completely on to JR's game yet but he's got a clue. Reggie and Dani grow closer while Derek tries to snuff out their budding romance. Livia and Tom lend support.

Erica's drinking gets out of hand when she shows up drunk at Jackson's and scares Lily. An angry Jack throws Ms. Kane out and banishes her from his home. Later at SOS Greenlee sits at the bar with Ms. Drunkard and they hoist a few.

Ryan's hurt that Kendall used his brother Jonathan to get back at him. Greenlee is late in the game to discover the story and that Ryan has another brother and that he's in town. Ryan and Greenlee invite the lad to stay with them while he's in town.

Edmund and Maria continue to have problems and they grow when Maria sees Zach at Wildwind. He's there on the pretense of being lost. He kisses her and she responds but then recovers when she remembers she's married. She explains that she's not Maureen Gorman any more and what has happened in her life. Edmund helps the lost "Stranger" and later Ryan and Zach have a run in on the road. AKA Crash. At PVH Zach and Maria share another moment. Ryan warns his friend Dr. Grey to stay away from Mr. Slater.

Anita is still in full divorce swing even though she can't find Bobby. Erica's brother Mark Dalton pays a visit. Erica is a downward spiral and her family and friends hold an intervention. She goes through the stages and then has a breakthrough that shocks her loved ones. Eric knew all along that Richard Fields was a pedophile and that he wanted him to start in his movie so he left her alone with him on purpose. They all embrace her and Bianca reaches out to her mother as a fellow rape survivor. Erica eventually throws her drink in the fireplace and starts her recovery.

During the Fourth of July celebrations at the park Derek tightens his grip on Dani only to have his wayward daughter bolt. Livia reminds her baby brother they shenanigans they pulled on their father. Maria has daydreams of her time with Zach and discovers he's also at the celebration. Edmund is desperate for someone to help him save a persons life from a static call he overheard. His FBI contact blows him off but Derek agrees to help him investigate. Anita is upset that she's upset and concerned for Bobby. She reminds her sister that she is getting a divorce. Maria is sympathetic to her younger sibling.

David has a dream about Babe and he being close and father/daughterish. Tad interrupts when he's come to the cabin to warn David against hurting Babe and Krystal. He won't stand by and watch his destructive nature destroy two people he cares about like he hurt Dixie and Gillian. JR and Adam plot the next move. JR informs his father that after the scare with Babe he's done. He's got enough ammo against Babe. She will look like an unfit parent. Adam explains that it might not be enough. As JR is about to make is announcement to Babe and Krystal that's when David bursts in to make his own announcement. Shortly after he arrives so does Bianca who's there to check on Babe. All eyes are on David...will he reveal that Bess is really Miranda?

June 23 & 24, 2004 ~ Wednesday & Thursday

Adam asks his son if he's got a plan to get rid of Babe. JR tells him yes and Adam offers help if his son needs it but JR declines. After Adam leaves the room he calls his drug dealer Seth from his addict days. Seth is happy to hear from his former client and asks what he needs JR tells him it's not for him.

Dr. David tries to tell Bianca the truth about Miranda/Bess but Krystal interrupts him and tells everyone in the room that the Good Doctor is really Babe's biological father. Shocked at the news Babe wonders how, what, when, where and why. Krystal explains to Adam, Bianca, Babe and JR that she slept with a drunk David at a party at Stanford. No one believes Krystal including David. Before David leaves the Chandler Mansion he tells Bianca that he has some wonderful news for her and for her not to give up hope. Bianca's confused as is everyone else. David tells JR and Babe they'd better take great care of THAT baby. Krystal tells everyone she needs some time alone with Babe. Bianca decides to leave as well. When Adam and JR are alone they question each other as to what they think just happened. Adam tells his son that David knows something and Krystal was delaying him telling everyone by saying David was Babe's father. They need to know what it is that Hayward has on her. David rushes to have another DNA test this time to prove he isn't Babe's father.

Krystal takes a confused Babe to the park and explains that David isn't really her father that she was delaying him from telling that he knows Bess is Miranda Montgomery. Shocked and upset Babe wonders what they will do. Krystal tells her she's going to leave town and take the blame with her. She explains that David thinks that Babe doesn't know the truth and Krystal tells her daughter that when the truth comes out she will act shocked along with everyone else. Babe agrees but frets as to how this will all play out and that her mother is leaving her.

Reggie stops by Fusion with Dani to get her job back. Kendall's all for it and Greenlee's against it. Reggie talks his sister into giving Dani a second chance. Danielle isn't happy when Greens gives her grunt work to do instead of creative executive things but Reggie smooths it over.

Kendall taunts Greenlee with lies about what happened in Vegas with Ryan. He over hears her and asks what's going on. The two discuss their relationship and he reiterates that he's married to Greenlee. Telling Ryan she realizes she can't be with him she's going to leave town because she's had enough too. When Ryan gets a call from his man trailing Erica he leaves the two vixens alone. Kendall tells Greenlee she's won it all and in the process gets Greenlee to admit she's in love with Ryan. Milligan pays a visit to Ryan and he fires him for insubordination and basically spying. When Milligan threatens him Ryan tells him to sue him. Ryan wonders if Kendall will really leave. As Kendall gets on the elevator she stumbles on a handsome stranger.

Erica is back in Pine Valley and they Mystery man has followed her. She's tormented by her demon. Bianca stops by to visit her mother and hopefully get back to her. She tells Erica everything she's been through while she was gone and tries to reach out to her mother realizing she's still in her selfish pity me mood. Bianca tries to explain how therapy had helped her and when Erica declines aid in that department Bianca has enough and leaves.

JR heads to Dr. Hayward's cabin and taunts him trying to get his secret. As he does this David has flashes of memory of the night of the party at Stanford and realizes he did sleep with Krystal and he could be Babe's father. An angry JR doesn't get any info from David and tells David if he thinks he's going to play grandfather to his daughter he's nuts. JR then goes ugly with using Leora's death to get at David hoping he'll spill the beans. David tells him he could use his information as revenge against him and tells him he's just a boy. David stops short of revealing the truth about Bess/Miranda.

June 22, 2004 ~ Tuesday

Krystal is still arguing and pleading with David not to tell anyone the truth that Bess is really Miranda Montgomery. He's not biting so Krystal tells a whopper...Babe is his child. After arguing more he tells her he has everything he needs for a DNA test and she pushes him to do it. When Babe sees Dr. Dave she hugs him and thanks him for helping Bess and her mother and getting her home. David is touched and feeling patriarchal until Krystal speaks again and he realizes Babe knows the truth about Bess and she's in on it.

Dani and Reggie are at the record story when a guy is paying lots of attention to Ms. Frye. When Reggie interrupts she thinks he's jealous but the truth is the guy is a dealer. Dani is shocked. Jamie's got a date with Nicole who works at the record store. He stops to talk to Reggie and tells him that JR's being weird about him and Babe. He thinks there's something going on and tells Reggie that he's going to find out what it is. Reggie accuses his friend of overreacting and Jamie tells him he's not that something is wrong.

Adam wants JR to step up his plan against Babe. JR wants to as well but he won't do what Adam wants him too. Adam spends time with Bess in the nursery and turns off the baby monitor to have a private chat with his granddaughter. He will do whatever her father isn't willing to do to make sure she says with them. Brooke stops by and overhears the last part of Adam's chat and queries him about what he meant by that. Adam adjusts the conversation and it swings the way of Mary Smythe sharing his bed. He accuses Brooke of being jealous of Mary. Umm...no says Brooke.

Bianca reassures Maggie as much as possible that their friendship is solid. She also reaffirms her love for her gal pal but reminds her that she is committed to Lena and she loves her. Maggie understands and she's just wanted Bianca to know the truth and though Binx could help her with her confusion. She sets out to hug Bianca and pulls back. Binx pulls her gal pal into an embrace and tells her it's okay. Maggie immediately freaks out by all of her revealing to Bianca and bolts from the apartment. Before she leaves Bianca tries again to get Mags to understand that its okay. Maggie heads to the record store to talk to James about what she told Bianca. He thinks its great and she's freaking out. He tells her that maybe its what she needed to go. Maggie just wants to take it all back but she can't. She's more confused than ever and uncomfortable about what just happened. Jamie tries to calm his roommate down.

Bianca heads over to the Chandler's to check on Bess. She's greeted at the door by JR who is mean to her asking if this is what her promises mean that she promised to stay away from Bess and yet here she is. Babe over hears her husband being mean and that he made Bianca promise to stay away and is a bit cross. JR covers and Babe and Bianca go to Bess. Bianca's relieved that the baby is okay. David bursts in to tell Bianca the truth....does he or does he wait to find out the DNA results about whether Babe really is his daughter????

June 21, 2004 ~ Monday

David presents Krystal with his findings and asks her how she can watch Bianca grieve for her child every day knowing that Bess is Miranda Montgomery. Krystal whacks the good doctor across the face. He tells her he has the proof. DNA proof from samples he collected and at a reputable lab, one where someone like Krystal couldn't monkey with the blood. Krystal eventually gives in an then tries to give her justifications for what she did saying at first it was Paul Cramer's fault then that the baby has a wonderful loving father and her real daddy was a rapist. She's surrounded by so many who love her and can provide for her. David gets angrier saying that Bianca wanted Miranda from the first. She loved her and couldn't wait until she was born. Krystal reminds him that Erica wasn't to thrilled with her grandbaby. David yells at her that it's not about anybody but what Bianca wanted and she would have loved her baby. She tells him that Babe is innocent and that she doesn't know that Krystal changed the results and that Bess isn't her baby (lie). When all else fails to prevent Dr. Dave from telling Babe and everyone the truth about Bess Krystal tells him that he might want to know exactly who's life he's destroying....HIS DAUGHTER'S!

Greenlee searches for her father to apologize for been insensitive. Jack tells her that she was right in some ways and that he and Erica have a complicated relationship. Greenlee also tells him that Ryan is her husband and as much as it's killing her not knowing what's going on with Kendall and Ryan in Vegas she's going to try to keep it together.

Maggie declares her love for her gal pal in a not so platonic way. Bianca is taken back by her declaration and reminds her she's still in love with Lena no matter how far away she is. Maggie tells her she understands but hopes that Bianca can help her with her feelings because she's lost and doesn't know what to do. Maggie asks her friend if she's gay or is it just Bianca because she likes guys but then has the same feelings for Bianca. Bianca tells Mags t hat she can't answer that for her. They talk about when Bianca first realized she liked girls and Binx tells her she always knew but it was when she realized it was okay to like girls is what made the difference. A confused Maggie wonders if their relationship is destroyed but her revelation and Bianca assures her no it's not. When Maggie instinctively reaches out to hug Bianca she draws back not sure how Binx will react and Bianca reassures her but embracing her. Maggie wonders what is going to happen from her.

Babe is all about the Mommying now. JR is touched by her concern for their daughter even though he secretly arbors her. She tells him she wants to take cooking classes so that when Bess is old enough they can bake together. He reminds her they have a cook and she explains further that it would be something that Bess could share with her daughter later in life. JR goes to the living room and Adam is there. Adam suggests to JR that he might gaslight her to speed things up. JR is upset by the suggestion since it is what Adam did to Dixie. Adam tells JR it was only because he didn't think Dixie would be a good mother and he wanted JR away from her. JR freaks when Adam compares Dixie and Babe and tells him not to suggest him driving Babe crazy again.

June 17-18, 2004 ~ Thursday & Friday

The kids go back to Maggie & Jamie's to continue "Babe's Night Out". While they gang's playing drinking games JR rushes Bess to the hospital. David's in the ER and become immensely concerned at seeing Bess there. He berates JR for neglecting Bess. Maria examines Bess and everything is fine. JR then implies that Babe is having trouble being a mommy. Maria suggests that JR take the new parent class at PVH. He tells her he wanted to but Babe is all about figuring out and gives some hick representation of her idea of Motherhood. David keeps on eye on Mr. Chandler and wishes the test results came back.

Erica continues to drink and be haunted by the Mystery Dealer who is a representation of Eric. Ryan waits for her to go to sleep and then heads back to his room to find Ms. Hart waiting for him. The two discuss their relationship and his marriage to Greenlee. He kisses her but tells her that he doesn't want this that's why he married Greenlee. Back home Greenlee and Jackson discuss Erica and Ryan and Kendall. Jack tries to make his daughter understand that Ryan still loves Kendall. Greenlee admits to her father that she's in love with Ryan and Jackson becomes concerned she will get hurt in this mess. She strikes back at him feeling she's being attacked with Erica's track record with him and how many times she's broken his heart. Greenlee realizes she's hurt her father and express her concern for him just like he has concern for her but they both love specific people and that won't change. Kendall suggests that they be together even though he's married to Greenlee. He tells her no he's going to be faithful to Greenlee and Kendall leaves him.

Reggie has flashes of Danielle while playing basketball. Is he missing her? Danielle then shows up at the Basketball court and the two talk. She lets it slip that her mother doesn't want her so she's not going back to New York because she doesn't have a home there any more. Reggie reaches out to her as a friend.

Zach is angry that Ryan's taken off with Erica and he demands t hat Milligan find her and Lavery. Milligan returns later with news that they are still in Vegas and Zach tells him to find a way to bug their rooms! Milligan leaves and Zach sorts through his news paper clippings of Dr. Maria Grey.

David gets the results of Bess, Bianca and Babe's DNA Tests and the news that Bess is really Miranda and rushes to Maggie's to berate Babe for neglecting her child for a night of drinking with her friends. Bianca tells David to back off, that Babe is a great mother and she understands that David and she share the sorrow of holding their babies and then having lost them but Bess is loved by Babe and he needs to understand that she's been through so much the last couple of months and what Babe was having was just a night out and nothing more. David drives Babe home with Jamie in tow. She's upset that JR didn't let her know when she called him. He shakes off saying it was stupid and he was just being paranoid. Krystal becomes angry that JR didn't wake her to tell her the baby was "sick". He tells everyone to calm down he was just overreacting and nothing was wrong. JR, Babe and Jamie take Bess to the nursery and David confronts Krystal that he knows that Bess is really Miranda Montgomery.

Maggie decides to come clean with what she's lied to her friend about. This all was brought up by the drinking game the group had been playing earlier. She tells Bianca that she might not like what she's going to reveal and that it may affect their friendship. Bianca wonders but listens to what Mags has to say. Maggie tells her gal pal that the night she kissed Binx hasn't left her and that when she thinks about it she wants to do it again and that she thinks she loves her.

Adam stops by to visit Brooke who's had it with Edmund being angry at the staff. Earlier Edmund suggests firing some of the staff and she tells him will then she's gotta go to even though she owns the magazine. Adam is harsh with Edmund and is situation telling him he knows first hand what the chair is about. When Brooke leaves the office for a moment Adam continues his tactless assault telling him he'd better keep tabs on that beautiful wife now that he's in the wheelchair. Brooke returns and asks Adam why he's there and he tells her to visit his favorite ex-wife. Maria comes to collect Eddie who's in a terrible mood after his first day back to work.

June 16, 2004 ~ Wednesday

Erica continues her path of destruction while Ryan is off taking care of Kendall. She gets drunk. Kendall wants to tell Ryan things and he's not listening he tells her to go home. She insists on staying. She leans in and whispers in Ryan's ear that he doesn't trust Zach to which Mr. Lavery nods no. After Ryan leaves Zach shows up and Kendall tells him she's going to catch a plane home. He offers to drive her to the airport but she tells him there's no need. She then heads to the hotel that Ryan is staying at and resists knocking on his door. When Ryan arrives back in his room he doesn't find Erica first and becomes concerned until Ms. Kane enters from an adjacent room glowing and ready for a night on the town but stops first to pour them both a drink. Ryan tells her they should stay in and talk and she accuses him of holding him hostage. Zach gets on the phone after Kendall leaves and tells someone to find Erica Kane. Erica tells Ryan she called Jackson and he asks how it went she tells her hero that Jack hung up on her. After some talking Ryan agrees to take Erica out.

At the boathouse Greenlee and Jackson talk about Ryan, Kendall and Erica. Greenlee tells her father after much arguing that she loves Ryan. Jack immediately bursts her bubble by telling her that Ryan still loves Kendall. Greens points out to her old man that Erica has loved everyone and yet he's still there. Jackson makes distinctions between Erica and Ryan but Green Pea isn't listening.

David gets the validation he was looking for that the DNA tests show that Babe is not Bess' biological mother. He plays word games with Krystal and Tad wonders what is up with the Dark Prince. After David leaves Tad and Krystal get closer even though she's distracted by David. Tad and Krystal share a kiss.

JR stops by Fusion and insists that she go out with Jamie, Maggie and Bianca and he'll see to Bess. Finding it difficult to pull herself away from Bess she hesitantly agrees to go out. JR asks Jamie to make sure his wife has a good time. David stops by Fusion to see Bianca he tells her he needs to talk about some test results. He needs to take some blood to double check her anemia just to be safe. She agrees and he leaves to get the sample tested to see if it matches Bess' DNA. Maggie becomes concerned that Bianca might have anemia. Bianca assures her that all is well. Binks then asks her bestest gal pal for a favor. She needs a place to crash and Maggie tells her she doesn't have to sleep on the sofa she can sleep with her. Bianca chuckles when Maggie says she didn't mean it that way and tells Bianca she'll sleep with Jamie and she can take her bed. Bianca is hesitant of putting Jamie out until Maggie asks him and he tells her no problem.

June 14-15, 2004 ~ Monday & Tuesday

Zach Slater calls Milligan into the "spy room" to listen to Ryan and Kendall talk about his marriage to Greenlee. After some time Milligan tells Zach that he can't use any of the information because it's not solid enough. Ryan gets a phone call and darts off leaving Kendall behind. Zach takes the cue and has food brought to Ryan and Kendall knowing Ryan is gone and tries to play Kendall. She has know idea.

Ryan discovers Erica in restraints at a hospital. He releases the restraints and a nurse takes him into the hall to explain Erica's fragile condition and that she's being treated for dependency to alcohol. He tells her to get the doctor in charge because he's taking her home NOW! While they wait a relieved Erica tells Ryan about the Mystery Dealer she sees and Ryan questions that this isn't the best place for her. She tells him no it's not.

Danielle stops by Fusion to say good-bye to Bianca and Reggie. She informs them she's headed to New York and her mother. Reggie's isn't at first broken up by the her announcement but after she leaves Fusion it sinks in. Derek arrives home from work to all of Danielle's belongings. Livia explains that Mimi stopped by and dropped them off with a note. As Derek is reading the note he doesn't see Danielle on the other side of the boxes and she overhears how her mother doesn't want her and that she feels that Dani is a problem. Danielle feels rejected by bother of her parents now. Derek tells his daughter he's sorry he didn't know she was there.

Tad is a little shocked to discover that Ron Fitzgerald is Babe's father. David stops by Liza's office and see Ron whom he remembers from Stanford. Liza comes too and feigns a concussion. David fuels the fire against Liza who explains she had Dr. Fitzgerald come to town for a possible segment at television station. No one is buying it. Just then Babe walks in and realizing there is an unfamiliar face introduces herself to Dr. Fitzgerald. No one tells her that he's her father.

Liza and Tad get into a heated argument after everyone leaves. She tells him Dixie wouldn't have wanted him with Krystal and he reminds her that she is the only woman that Dixie wouldn't want him with. She tells him he's harsh when he threatens to severe their friendship. She asks him if he would stand by Krystal if he found out that Krystal changed Bess's DNA tests to ensure her daughter marries JR. Angry Tad tells her Krystal wouldn't do anything like that. Tad reminds Liza that he was there with his father when the test results came back and Krystal didn't know anything about them, that no no did! Liza goes further to suggest it would have been easy for Krystal to switch the blood samples in the lab. Tad tells Liza if she dares to hurt JR or Krystal with these insane ideas of hers they are through and he storms off.

Babe stops by to visit Bianca at the office and while Jamie is showing Babe the pictures from the wedding Bianca spends some time with Bess while Babe looks on from time to time. Jamie tells Babe that Bess looks just like her to which Babe becomes sad. When Jamie questions what's wrong she tells him nothing. Greenlee is taken back when she sees Bianca with Bess and asks if everything is okay. Hoping silently that Bianca didn't steal the baby again. Bianca laughs and says no Babe is there in the back with Jamie. Greenlee is relieved.

Zach tells Kendall he knows where Erica is and she asks him to take her to her mother. The two had discussed how Erica was upset to think her daughters had trouble. At the hospital while Ryan and Zach go at it about the fact he knew that Erica was in the hospital because he put her there and had her committed against her will not less Kendall goes to her mother. Erica is less than happy to see her daughter. The two talk and Kendall realizes she's not what Erica needs. Ryan demands that Zach have Erica released into his care. Zach tells our hero that won't happen and that only if Kendall wants her mother release will he help in the process. Kendall tells Zach she would like Erica released into Ryan's care. While Zach is arranging it Ryan tells Kendall that he doesn't trust Zach and there's something going on with him. He states all of the discrepancies that Zach was telling each of them different things. Kendall wants to find out more about this boss of Erica's and decides to do some snooping of her own. Ryan's not to keen on the idea but goes along with it telling her to be careful.

Ryan gives Erica the wonderful news that she's sprung and she tells him he's betrayed her and she's not going anywhere with him. Confused he soon realizes it's because of Kendall. He explains that Kendall snuck aboard his plane and that he didn't invite her. Erica then agrees quietly to go with Ryan. Kendall pumps Zach for information when they get back to the hotel.

Greenlee becomes more upset when she can't reach Ryan and the thought of him with Kendall sparks more jealousy. She decides to head to Vegas.

Dr. Ron, David and Krystal go to BJ's for a drink. They talk about the party and the night Babe was conceived. Fitzgerald tells David when they are alone that Krystal wanted to marry a doctor and he didn't want any parts of it. David asks him how he could abandon his child. Fitzgerald tells him it was all a mistake. After Ron leaves for the airport Krystal and David reminisce about the party and the night that Babe was conceived. David realizes he was at the same party and he was very drunk. Krystal tells him she even tried to make Ron jealous because she was mad that he dumped her when his girlfriend from home showed up that she had a revenge make out session with some guy that night. She tells him it didn't work and that was it she found out later she was pregnant and he didn't want any parts of her or the baby. Tad shows up buy a round for the three of them and David gets a call on his cell phone...the DNA results are back.

Problems with Fusion San Francisco leave Greens in the lurch. Simone offers to go but Greenlee decides it's better if Mia goes. Excited Mia rushes to Liza's to tell her but Liza's kind of sad her kid sister is leaving.

Ryan and Kendall get to Vegas and all they discover is a trashed hotel room that was once Erica's. Zach spies on them in Erica's room as they discuss Ryan and Greenlee's marriage and what Kendall is up too. Kendall tells Ryan she can save him. Greenlee is knee deep in work with Bianca and she gets her cousin to reveal that she knew Kendall was in the trunk at the penthouse and overheard everything. Greenlee pretends everything is fine and that she's not upset that Kendall and Ryan are together alone in Vegas.

Liza steps up her plans against Krystal. She arranges to have Dr. Ron Fitzgerald come to Pine Valley. Krystal's had enough and attacks Liza as Tad watches from the door. When Liza is knocked unconscience Dr. Fitzgerald arrives in the nick of time. Krystal is furious that Liza brought him there. Tad asks who he is and Krystal reveals he's Babe's daddy.

June 4 - 9, 2004 ~ Friday through Wednesday

What's been going on in the Valley since last I posted. Well seems Krystal can't take a breath without a panic attack. Babe rushes her Mama to Dr. David's in the woods for a check up (this child doesn't do anything easy!). David decides her panic attacks all have one common denominator...Tad Martin. Meanwhile in Vegas it would seem Ms. Desiree DuBois is having issues performing. Although she's convinced it's not I am convinced it is all the Liquor! Not only has Zach had enough with his temperamental drunkard of a star but so has Pearlie Showgirl extraordinare! Wondering what is Mr. Casino owner Zach's over abundance of interest in Ms. DuBois is, me too! He scoops our favorite vixen up and locks her in the ivory tower...well hotel room for her own good. She of course calls...Ryan in Pine Valley to save her.

Kendall slowly devises a plan to get Ryan back. First she hides herself in a trunk at the Lavery Penthouse to get the dirt on the newlyweds and then grins ear to ear when she hears them talk about the prenup and the fact the marriage is a sham. After the Lavery's head to their meeting with Milligan and the crew from the SEC Kendall heads out just behind them. What does the woman scorned do with the info she's over heard well I'm glad you asked she saves their miserable hides and convinces the SEC and board members that the Lavery's are indeed husband & wife in every way. When Milligan points out the information that the minister gave them that she showed up at the wedding and that Mr. Lavery was ready to marry Ms. Hart Kendall blows them out of the water and tells them that Ryan rejected the bidding of a desperate woman. Enough said, case closed and the newlyweds are safe...for now.

Bianca meets her cousin Lily at Jackson's place which is becoming the hot place to be these days. Yeah for apartment 5F. Lily is settling in and Reggie is getting used to his sister. Kendall shows up to talk to Binks and the two head to the park. There Kendall tells her little sister all that has happened with the SEC and saving Ryan and Greenlee's collective butts. Bianca questions her sister as to what she's getting out of it and Kendall tells her RYAN. Confused as we all where when we heard her say it Bianca queries how exactly that is going to happen. Kendall tells her she's proven her love for Ryan and he'll want her back. Bianca goes off on her sister and tells her she doesn't want her to become just like Erica. Kendall tells her she's being harsh and Bianca calms down. She gives Kendall some advice and that is to stop trying to test Ryan's love for her. He loved her and now he's married to Greenlee and Ryan takes commitment very seriously so he won't leave his wife for Kendall. She's had her shot and it's time to move on. Kendall doesn't care what her sister says and sets her sights on Ryan.

JR is angry at the world and plotting his divorce. Tad sees his stepson with a book on PA divorce and wonders what's up. JR turns the tables on Tad and his lies and shrugs off the divorce book. Tad leaves for his date with Krystal and Babe comes home very amorous. She wants to start the honeymoon. JR forces himself into sleeping with his wife. Tad collects Krystal at David's Cabin and takes her to a baseball game where she roots for the opposing team, gets in a fight with a fellow spectator and then gets knocked on the head with a foul ball. While she's groggy she thinks she sees Bianca and rambles on about JR and Babe and Miranda and not letting JR and Babe get hurt. Tad takes Krystal to the hospital where Joe admits her overnight for observation.

At David's cabin Liza stops by for a visit using the back door. She tries to convince David to help her run Krystal out of town on a rail. The evil doctor declines to help Ms. Colby with her evil plan.

Maria and Edmund are having trouble adjusting to living without sex. When Anita invites her mother over to break the news she's filing for divorce from Bobby her mother makes comments about Edmund being less of a man since he and Maria have no marriage bed. Maria gets upset with her mother and Isabella tries to explain that what she meant was Maria and Edmund have nothing now and they take their vows seriously. Anita tells her mother tough...she's getting a divorce. Isabella tells her daughter she'll say a rosary for her that she knows better than to go against God. Maria wonders what she can possibly say to Edmund who over heard Isabella's unseemly comments. Anita tells her she'll go. Edmund and Anita have a wonderful talk and Maria talks to her new friend Livia who stopped by to drop of Anita's divorce papers. Later Edmund and Maria talk about things and hug.

Bianca calls her mother and the two talk about what happened before she left. Bianca realizes her mother doesn't want to be found and that she's not sorry for what she said. She tells Desiree that no one is going to look for her and bring her home! A hurt Bianca comes to the ultimate realization that Erica does care about them anymore. Jackson takes the phone from Bianca and tells Erica unless she's sober she doesn't have a place with them. The niece and uncle resolve to wait for Erica to get her act together.

Everyone assembles at Jackson's for an impromptu birthday bash for Jack. Not knowing each other's plans Jackson ends up with three cakes. Kendall plays nice nice with Greenlee and Ryan and everyone gets to know Lily better. Lily becomes upset when she realizes she doesn't have a present for her daddy and Kendall explains that not all presents need be in a box. She decides to give Jackson what he wanted earlier if it's okay with him. Smiling Jackson says you bet and Greens asks what it was he wanted, he replies...a hug. Lily hugs her father and the fights not to hug her back seeing what progress she's made. Ryan's cell phone rings...it's Erica and she needs his help. He makes plans to go to Vegas but Kendall balks. She doesn't want to be mean but what the heck! Bianca and Jack tell Kendall not to get her hopes up concerning Erica and that Ryan is the most objective person in the group. Kendall agrees and Greenlee and Ryan head home to get some things for him to fly to Vegas.

June 2 & 3, 2004 ~ Wednesday & Thursday

Babe and JR are married without a hitch but at the Christening of Bess Babe breaks down and tells everyone that Bianca isn't just Bess' godmother but her mama. Then proceeds to roll out this long deluge of babble about how since she was there when Bess was born and since Babe herself delivered Miranda that even though Bianca lost her child in that fateful moment that she intends to share Bess with Bianca. Kendall loses it and starts yelling at Babe about being insensitive. Ryan escorts his ex to the library to calm her down. The christening continues and after all is said and done Bianca tells Babe and JR that although what Babe said was beautiful she intends to keep her distance from Bess with the exception of watching over her from afar. Later when Maggie and Bianca meet up she tells her gal pal what she told Babe and JR and Maggie asks her friend if this is really what she wants. Bianca explains it's what she needs.

JR leaves the reception to be with Bess who is napping. Adam goes to get his son and cheerleads him into playing the dutiful Groom until he gets Bess all to himself. It's all for his child. JR quips he wants to kill Babe. Adam helps his son keep it together long enough to see their scheme to closure.

Krystal has a panic attack in the tunnels after crying and talking to Tad. He rushes his would-be girlfriend to her date, Dr. David who assess her condition. Tad doesn't like David getting all the fanfare on his would-be woman and tries insulting him to which David replies often and early making Tad look like a chump. Liza who has been watching Tad and Krystal all night and working on David to snuggle up with Krystal and discover her secrets continues to take it all in. Krystal has a concerned Babe clutching at her side waiting to find out what's happening to her. David has her breath into a paper bag and announces she's not dying it's just a panic attack. JR looks annoyed. The party winds down and Babe waits for her groom all sexed out in a little number but he's got an emergency and must go leaving his bride stumped.

Kendall tries to get Ryan to admit he still loves her but he resists. She kisses him and he kisses her back but is interrupted by his wife Greenlee. Even though Ryan tried to get Kendall to understand everything is not a conspiracy she's still in self destruct mode. He washes his hands of her and leaves with Greens. Bianca later tries to get her sister to see that Ryan is a man of commitment and he's committed to his WIFE. She wants Kendall to let him go but Kendall has other plans. Bianca frustrated leaves.

Lily arrives at Jackson's while he's away and Reggie tells Ms. Hopkins that he can take care of her until their father comes home. She agrees and everything is going well until the demon child Danielle arrives. Reggie tries to explain that the girl is his sister but the jealous twit believes she's being punk'd. She goes after Lily making her more and more upset. Jackson arrives and sees a distressed Lily and an upset Reggie and of course the nightmare Danielle. He gets Lily settled in her room and then asks Reggie what happened. He doesn't put any blame on Danielle when Jackson's in the room but berates her for her behavior after Jackson leaves. Dani tries to apologize but Reggie doesn't care. Derek shows up and blames Reggie for Danielle being there. Jackson puts Derek in his place and tells her the tattoos, stealing, credit card fraud all end when she goes back to New York and her mother. The two leave.


June 1, 2004 ~ Tuesday

The wedding between JR and Babe is delayed due to the fact that Kendall over hears Babe call Bess Miranda and shares the information with Greenlee and Ryan. They believe her and the three set out to discover the truth that leads to a confrontation with JR. Babe when confronted can't tell the truth. Luckily for her Tad walks in to save the day and tells everyone he had Joe run a DNA test and it say 100% that Bess is JR and Babe's. JR is relieved and Adam freaks on Tad for running the test in the first place.

Bianca tells Maggie that after the wedding and christening she's going to distance herself from Bess. It's what's best for everyone.

Babe and JR marry even though Babe is racked with guilt at not telling the truth. At the Christening JR reluctantly hands Bess to Bianca and when the minister asks what name they give Bess Bianca says Elizabeth Miranda. Babe, JR, Jamie and Bianca pledge their support to Bess and then Babe stops everything with the news that Bianca isn't only Bess' godmother but her mama. A gasp from the crowd!

Lily comes home early. Jackson is away at the wedding and Reggie tells Ms. Hopkins that she can leave Lily with him. He explains that Jackson won't be too long. Reluctantly the teacher agrees. Reggie gets his first taste of autism.

Danielle, queen of the brats gets yelled at by Aunt Livie about stealing her credit card and buying $300 shoes. In walks Daddy Derek and he of course blames everything on Reggie Montgomery. Then he notices that Dani has a tattoo. That's it he's sending her back to her mother. Dani controls her father by telling him she knows he doesn't want her and he doesn't have to send her because she's gone. Derek wonders what he can do to fix everything while Livia watches everything transpire.
